[frameworks-knewstuff] [Bug 418034] "Details..." button should remain hidden until addon installation is completed
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=418034 --- Comment #6 from Alexander Lohnau --- Well this is kindof intentional. If you install a plugin you still want to be able to go into the details view, maybe to compare different themes or whatever. Especially if the installation takes a bit longer this seems like a valid usecase. And in the bugfix we ensured that the button only gets shown on hover. And if we don't move the cursor we are still hovering. So we could just say that these buttons should be hidden when we are installing/updating an entry(you could still view the details by clicking on the entry itself), but that would make the UI inconsistent. Nate, Dan any thoughts? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krunner] [Bug 283738] krunner: support for aliases
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=283738 --- Comment #7 from Alexander Lohnau --- (In reply to David Edmundson from comment #6) > Just to add to that; one can create aliases another way: > > Custom .desktop entries (either through kmenuedit or manually) will be shown > in krunner. But that is a different usacase. With aliases you can easily add another flag to it or pipe the output to another program etc. Your suggestion goes in the direction of BUG 396881. > I would support any UX to try and surface that more - so we're building > towards a common platform that reuses the tech we have, rather than adding > layers on top. Because we are reusing the already existing aliases I would not say that we are adding layers on top ;-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krunner] [Bug 283738] krunner: support for aliases
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=283738 David Edmundson changed: What|Removed |Added CC||k...@davidedmundson.co.uk --- Comment #6 from David Edmundson --- Just to add to that; one can create aliases another way: Custom .desktop entries (either through kmenuedit or manually) will be shown in krunner. An extra advantage of that is you can then also easily assign global shortcuts as well as have more readable names. I would support any UX to try and surface that more - so we're building towards a common platform that reuses the tech we have, rather than adding layers on top. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[konsole] [Bug 425127] Uneven margins between all 4 sides
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=425127 --- Comment #16 from wg9rffujwz8y2...@airmail.cc --- (In reply to Christoph Feck from comment #14) > It looks like the "Align to center" option could resolve this issue, but > enabling it doesn't make a difference here. In the screenshots attached I tried with both on and off. > Some more observations: The scrollbar is no longer visually separated from > the terminal view, which adds to the uneven appearance. Alacritty doesn't show the scrollbar for me. That's a good observation. I see a border with my theme but in the screenshots I attached with the default theme it does look worse because of that. It could help if the scrollbar background was configurable but that's out of the subject maybe. > For vertical margins, the fonts themselves include margins at the top and at > the bottom for ascenders/descenders or diacritics, and it depends on the > selected font if they appear even or uneven. [krusader] [Bug 424680] Krusader crashs after the command F6 (move files)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=424680 --- Comment #2 from andre.fritz...@t-online.de --- Hi David, thanks for your answer. I'm not a specialist in computing, only a user with some experience. I hope, the screenshots are helpful. I had downloaded some exe-files. After this I started Krusader, marked this 17 files on the right source window (download folder) and then I used F5 (because of my bad experiences with F6) to copy to another folder in the left window of krusader (destination folder). I had the intention to delete files on the right sight after this - Krusader crashed during copying the third file. I did not change any rights. Then I started to copy single files. By copying the first and the second file - no problem. And they have been copied before - by the first action. The third single file causes the crash. Crash report did not work (I was acting as sudo!). So what can I do?? I like Krusader and use it from my beginning with OpenSuse 9.x After this: Double commander 1.0.0 alpha did the work. Dolphin did the work once again. MC did the work also (and I was not the sudo!). I'm sure, it is a task of krusader. I hope I could help. I wish you a lot of success. Thanks for your work.
