[kwin] [Bug 361154] Running native OpenGL games - with compositing enabled - breaks X11 Plasma 5.6.0 Window Decorations
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361154 --- Comment #35 from Martin Gräßlin--- Thanks for the log! There are two things in the log which I consider suspicious: * lots of "QPainter::restore: Unbalanced save/restore" - that's probably the breeze deco * QOpenGLContext::swapBuffers() called with non-exposed window, behavior is undefined the latter must be from Qt, we don't use that in the rendering path, so hopefully should not matter. Let's focus on the first issue: maybe try a different window decoration? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361701 Bug ID: 361701 Summary: Hand cursor won't go away if mirroring is turned off Product: krita Version: 3.0 Alpha Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: u...@null.net When I use the mirror tool and change the position of the mirroring divider, the hand cursor will not disappear when my move my cursor away from the divider. I've noticed that the brush size outline is still visible under the hand if my brush is big enough to not be obscured by it. The only way to make the hand go away is to restart Krita altogether. After attempting to reproduce the problem, I found that it only happens with my tablet's pen (in my case, a Cintiq 12WX). The cursor disappears if I move the divider with my mouse. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Turn on mirroring. I've only ever used the horizontal mirroring, so I'm not sure if this happens with the vertical. 2. [kstars] [Bug 361646] KStars hogs CPU until unusable
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361646 Akarsh Simhachanged: What|Removed |Added CC||akarsh.si...@kdemail.net --- Comment #3 from Akarsh Simha --- Dear Rob I'm sorry that this is happening. Such an issue is rather hard to debug, unless we can find out what KStars is doing / spending time on. If we can isolate the problem a bit more and find what can be disabled to prevent this, we could introduce a patch that has timers to further trace the issue. The other option, if it works is to run KStars on valgrind with callgrind, keep the machinery off until the problem begins, and then turn on the machinery to investigate what KStars is spending most of its time. I didn't read this anywhere in your post, but have you tried turning off the simulation clock? Does that have any impact? I had a similar issue a while ago with simulation clock running. If the simulation clock being off ameliorates the problem, a temporary solution would be to keep it off and update the time once every minute using a DBus command like this: while true; do qdbus org.kde.kstars /KStars org.kde.kstars.setTimeToNow; sleep 55; done; -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 361567] task bar icon for multiple window grouping obscures application icons
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361567 Thomas Pfeifferchanged: What|Removed |Added CC||thomas.pfeif...@kde.org Ever confirmed|0 |1 Status|UNCONFIRMED |CONFIRMED --- Comment #2 from Thomas Pfeiffer --- Having an indicator that there are additional windows hidden behind a taskbar entry does make sense (as it prevents any "Huh, where did my window go?" kind of situations). The problem is just that in tiny panels (I'm impressed that you can actually work with such a tiny panel!), the application icon becomes tiny but the indicator keeps its size, thus covering the whole icon. The indicator should therefore scale with the icon. That does mean that at some point it becomes invisible, but as long as it's visible in the default panel height, I don't see much of a problem with that. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch a game that disables compositing (e.g. Counter Strike) 2. Note the time 3. Play the game for some time, e.g. one competitive match (or ten) 4. Tab out of the game (or don't run the game in full screen in the first place) Actual Results: Clock displays time from few hours ago (depends on how long you were playing) Expected Results: Clock displays current time. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[digikam] [Bug 361689] New: Provide a real (and simple) full screen mode
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361689 Bug ID: 361689 Summary: Provide a real (and simple) full screen mode Product: digikam Version: 4.12.0 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Albums View Assignee: digikam-de...@kde.org Reporter: y...@riseup.net I just switched to digikam from f-spot and it's really great! But one important thing I miss is a real (!) full screen mode. I know that I can enter into that mode and then hide the sidebars. But that requires a couple of clicks (not simple) and still leaves some controls (not really full screen). My favorite would be that double clicking on an image in album mode leads me to the image and then another double click to a full screen view of that image. Are there any plans for that? Would be really great! Or am I missing something? In that case this feature request would be for better documentation and UI. ;) Reproducible: Always -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 361437] startkde -> startplasmacompositor -> startkde = "blackscreen"
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361437 --- Comment #4 from James--- Ok - finally - yes "export $(dbus-launch)" - BUT - apparently there is a running: /usr/bin/dbus-daemon --session --address=systemd: --nofork --nopidfile --systemd-activation that comes up with "startkde" that plasmashell cannot use. So, instead, first kill the running dbus-daemon, then run: export $(dbus-launch) and then run plasmashell, and it works again. There is some odd relationship to startplasmacompositor, in that running plasmacompositor causes the subsequent startkde to start a dbus-daemon that plasmashell cannot use, with "connection refused" messages in the log. After starting and then exiting from startplasmacompositor, there are: $ ps waxl|grep dbus-daemon F UID PID PPID PRI NIVSZ RSS WCHAN STAT TTYTIME COMMAND 481 490 1 20 0 33520 2792 - Ss ? 0:04 /usr/bin/dbus-daemon --system --address=systemd: --nofork --nopidfile --systemd-activation 0 1000 32450 32420 20 0 32916 3784 ep_pol Ss ? 0:00 /usr/bin/dbus-daemon --session --address=systemd: --nofork --nopidfile --systemd-activation $ ps waxl|grep 32420 4 1000 32420 1 20 0 33956 4520 ep_pol Ss ? 0:00 /usr/lib/systemd/systemd --user 5 1000 32422 32420 20 0 105164 1772 - S? 0:00 (sd-pam) 0 1000 32450 32420 20 0 32916 3784 ep_pol Ss ? 0:00 /usr/bin/dbus-daemon --session --address=systemd: --nofork --nopidfile --systemd-activation 0 1000 32520 32420 20 0 478900 15480 poll_s Sl ? 0:00 /usr/lib/telepathy/mission-control-5 0 1000 32529 32420 20 0 748468 32348 poll_s Sl ? 0:00 /usr/lib/gnome-online-accounts/goa-daemon 0 1000 32536 32420 20 0 270808 5572 poll_s Ssl ? 0:00 /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd 0 1000 32541 32420 20 0 338908 7328 futex_ Sl ? 0:00 /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd-fuse /run/user/1000/gvfs -f -o big_writes 0 1000 32550 32420 20 0 280960 8292 poll_s Sl ? 0:00 /usr/lib/gnome-online-accounts/goa-identity-service 0 1000 32633 32420 9 -11 446820 12624 poll_s S

[amarok] [Bug 361685] New: Global shortcuts not functional under Xfce4
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361685 Bug ID: 361685 Summary: Global shortcuts not functional under Xfce4 Product: amarok Version: 2.8.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Shortcuts Assignee: amarok-bugs-d...@kde.org Reporter: puga...@leeching.net When using Xfce4, it is impossible to set any global shortcut. This happens after a fresh install of amarok. After opening the "configure shortcuts" window, if you try to set any global shortcut then nothing happens. Basically, I click on the little arrow, then I have two choices: default or custom. The custom option is selected. If I try to click on default option nothing happens (even if the default option has a defined key combination). If I try to set a custom shortcut by clicking on the "None" button, then the button text changes to "Input...", after that I type in the key combination, but after I release the keys, the button text is reset to "None". When I run amarok --debug, I see no particular message when trying to set the global shortcuts. When starting amarok, however I see these messages: http://pastebin.com/raw/G86nQrtx Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open amarok's: Configure shortcuts 2. Try to set a global shortcut 3. Nothing happens Actual Results: Nothing... Expected Results: Should set the global shortcut -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
