I'm running near-stock Kubuntu 16.04. I didn't fiddle with designs and/or
themes (yet). I simply changed the system theme from "Breeze" to "Breeze Dark". 
After a reboot almost everything had accepted the new theme (title bar, task
bar, etc). Except for dolphin. 
I googled around a little bit, but found no real clue.

Here are two screenshots (icons view is barely readable but details view (which
I like most) is completely unusable)

It seems like only the viewport background changed and nothing else. The font
and menus stay how they were before. (Font black (on black ground) and menus
normal (as in black text on white ground instead of the other way around).

I tried everything that my limited knowledge allowed, but even downloading
themes and changing back and forth (with reboots) didn't accomplish anything,
as did playing around with the "-style" parameter

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change system theme to "Breeze Dark"
2. Restart
3. Open Dolphin

Actual Results:  
Dark theme only applied to the viewport background, fonts stayed black, menus
stayed light-colored

Expected Results:  
Dark theme should apply to whole window, black backgrounds, white fonts

Edit: Just noticed that the system settings had the same error as well... weird
And yes, the color theme (System Settings > Colors > Scheme) is set to "Breeze
Dark".

Unfortunately I cannot install a beta version on this machine (it is my working
horse and therefore I have leap. However I looked up my packages and
amarok-debuginfo is well installed.  Getting hold on this would still have a
sense for everybody, as this version of leap 42.1 with this version of amarok

Thank you for your suggestion anyway. in fact I have very little problems on my
TW installation with the latest amarok installed, albeit that computer has a
nvidia graphics and prop driver . 
Most of the time I work with amarok on this laptop soI fear you will have
news as this quite happens from time to time. 
As for the bugs you mentionedwell, I cannot guarantee that distributions do
fix everything what should be fixed. But GL ,if you refer to openGL graphics of
Intel, there has been recently some update, maybe this caused some regression?
I will try to get a better backtrace.

What revision of KMyMoney are you using? (Help>About KMM).  Distro package or
compiled from source?
Have you considered setting up matching for the payee name you wish to use?

Tried my luck with Opensuse Leap 42.1 .
After install it looks a very , very bad REGRESSION . It seems that the
"new" plasma5  KDE is worse that windose 1.0 .
You get messages like  "the kwin failed" and gives you two options "Restart
appl" and/or "close" to  windose of 1998 !
AS for the much promoted plasma5,  the panel disappears,  the palsma stops  and
give you the "black" screen.  That's an improvement over windose ! 

Over all the "leap-plasma5" combination is a disaster .
Quo Vadis . Leap/KDE developers ?

This Leap/KDE disaster reminds me of  
1. A.Cooper's  1999 book " The Inmates are Running the Asylum [ Why High-Tech
Products Drive Us Crazy and How ro Restore the Sanity ] "  and 
2. T. Winograd's  1996 book " Bringing Design to Software ". 

Sadly,  I recommend  both of them to the team[s] who p*ssed off  the KDE
Community , and  
retired  the good OpenSuse 13.2 and KDE 4 replacing them with very badly
designed "better products" .  They just replaced a Cathedral  and forced us
into a bazaar !
What a pity !
Good riddance Leap  and and good riddance KDE5 with your plasma !

I've checked. The problem persists.
I've got the latest version for my distribution, i.e., 4:4.13.3-0ubuntu0.1.
Could you please attach a screenshot that shows file names with underscores
among the Recent Files in Kate?

Unfortunately you do not have debugging symbols installed for all Amaroks
dependencies which are needed to make this backtrace fully useful, please
install those and provide a better backtrace. See also

FWIW: this appears to be a duplicate of bug 364354 which in fact is a
Pulseaudio issue. Another thing to mention is a GL problem with the block
analyzer, but that was solved quite some time ago and all distros should have
that fix in since 2 years or so.
Could you eventually test amarok 2.9 beta (aka 2.8.90)? This is way ahead of
your current version and should not have such problems.
