When I manually configure "kmail" as E-Mail client in Extras -> Settings ->
Internet -> Email it works, we might be facing a LibreOffice (xdg-open, even?)
bug here.

I'm still seeing the very same issue with KMail 5.3.0.
No matter what I choose in the "Send" menu of LibreOffice (e.g. via PDF, as MS
Excel) it always complains that the file
/tmp/lu4510r7o470.tmp/lu4510r7o47o.tmp/Something does not exist (note how
there's no file extension in the error message, the file is a .pdf or .xsl but
the error message doesn't have it which is probably the reason for this)

After I was hit by https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373782 and could "fix"
that with the sql_mode change I also got 100% CPU for these agents on KDE neon
User Edition 5.8:

- Notes Agent
- Migration Agent
- Archive Mail Agent
- Mail Dispatcher Agent

Removing the corresponding
/home/user/.config/akonadi/agent_config_akonadi_*_agent_changes.dat files help
for me too. The 4x 100% CPU symptom is gone and mails are sent again.

Should I check if there is another bug for Plasma5?

I have the same issue being described here, running Gentoo unstable AMD64,
seemingly having Plasma and KDE applications installed of version 16.12.0. I
have a dual monitor setup, where they are of slightly different resolutions. I
have the panel on the smaller screen. If one places the window above where the
panel ends, on the larger screen, the window can be moved there. If one tries
to move it to anywhere in the same horizontal plane(?) as the panel, then the
window being dragged jumps to the bottom.

[krita] [Bug 374852] New: Auto-save triggers transform application, abandoning manually entered anchor points.

2017-01-09 Thread _Vi
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374852

Bug ID: 374852
   Summary: Auto-save triggers transform application, abandoning
manually entered anchor points.
   Product: krita
   Version: 3.1.1
  Platform: Debian stable
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: transform
  Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: vi0...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start Krita. Assuming auto-save is enabled (default);
2. Open some image
3. Select all
4. "Transform layer or selection" (Ctrl+T)
5. Tool options -> Warp
6. Tool options -> Anchor points -> Draw
7. Begin carefully placing and adjusting points

Expected:

The transform applies when I select other tool or press "Apply" button.

Actual:

Half-way though by anchor points adjustment, the filter applies spontaneously,
abandoning all my points. Can't go back and resume moving anchor points. When
this happens, I see saving progress flashing though status bar.

Workaround:

Settings->Configure Krita-> General -> Misc -> uncheck "Autosave every", then
apply the transform, then check it again.

I think this is actually a bug in KIO; the cert saving/loading is actually
implemented at kio/src/core/ksslcertificatemanager.cpp in the addCertificate()

--- Comment #1 from razvan...@yahoo.com ---
Well, it's extremely annoying because I need to remember which brushes have
internal patterns but at least if I delete the pattern from the f5 menu before
I select a paintop that uses an internal pattern then the correct pattern is
indeed loaded, but I need to remember to delete this internal pattern now for
every brush that uses it...

[plasmashell] [Bug 374849] New: plasmoid "Network Monitor" causes plasmashell to crash into black screen

2017-01-09 Thread Carl
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374849

Bug ID: 374849
   Summary: plasmoid "Network Monitor" causes plasmashell to crash
into black screen
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.8.5
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk
  Reporter: cmv...@gmail.com
CC: bhus...@gmail.com, plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

Application: plasmashell (5.8.5)

Qt Version: 5.7.1
Frameworks Version: 5.29.0
Operating System: Linux 4.4.39-1-MANJARO x86_64
Distribution: "Manjaro Linux"

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Adding the plasmoid "Network Monitor" to the task bar causes plasmashell to
crash. Sometimes it restarts (this bug report), sometimes it crashes into a
black screen and doesn't start after reboot. I could only resolve this by
removing the /.config settings.
- Custom settings of the application:
I used to have the plasmoid also on the desktop when adding it to the task bar
which caused the black screen crash.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

Please also try the KF5 version of knotes. openSUSE 42.1 has only some KDE

[krita] [Bug 374847] New: paintoppresets using internal patterns bug

2017-01-09 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374847

Bug ID: 374847
   Summary: paintoppresets using internal patterns bug
   Product: krita
   Version: 3.1.1
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Brush engine
  Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: razvan...@yahoo.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 103322
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=103322=edit
example

I was playing with bursh presets/settings (with installed
bundles/brushes/presets form the resource page in the docs), deleting some
.blacklist files etc. and all of a sudden the paintoppresets using internal
patterns don't work correct any more.

Example, if I use `Pastel_texture_thin`, it uses the internal pattern
`3-rock-soft.png`. I close krita and reopen, after it starts, all other
paintoppresets that use internal patterns start using this `3-rock-soft.png`
pattern. I tried with cazu's brushes as well then. I select for example `Paint
Pastel` from cazu's pack and then close krita. When I reopen every other
pantioppreset that uses an internal pattern starts using `cazu-paper.pat` which
is the settings that `Paint Pastel` uses. It isn't always consistent, sometimes
krita overwrites all paintoppresets with the second to last used brush before
closing, or something on these lines...

It makes brushes unusable... please help? I tried everything, deleting all
settings in share/krita, kritarc, install a different version (v3), install
from ppa instead of using the appimage... nothing works. Brushes using internal
patterns are unusable any more since the original pattern never gets loaded so
I can't even search for it in the pattern list...

I've attached a picture to maybe exemplify better.

commission file
   Product: krita
   Version: 2.9.11
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: grave
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: doubleotrou...@hotmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

I finished drawing the file, and saved it as a .kra, however I tried to open it
two weeks later to save it as a jpeg, and now krita won't let me open ANY file
(when i press the 'open' tool when I turn it on, the program immediately
crashes) and when I open the commission file from file explorer and try to
press 'save as' so I can make it into a jpeg, krita also crashes.
Other files I'm able to save as jpegs, but this one for some reason I can't. I
have many different saved copies of this file on my computer, and I tried
saving ANY of those as a jpeg, and it doesn't work. Somehow this file is
corrupted and I really need it fixed and/or a jpeg of the file itself. Please,
this is vitally important, as it is a commission work.

In fact the BookMark editor sound like relevant of another run time dependency.
It's not started through KF5 framework directly using shared library.

This require to install another amount of KDE for only a single feature. We
don't want to do it.

So i will disable this feature for MacOS and Windows. Linux sound to work
properly here with AppImage (it start the KDE4 bookmark editor on KDE4
desktop).

With bug 358867 importing of stack traces into sequence diagrams has been added
to umbrello.

It would be nice to have additional support to importing simple sequence
diagram entries from file or clipboard for example:

QApplicationPrivate::sendMouseEvent()
QCoreApplication::notifyInternal(QObject*)
KApplication::notify(QObject*)
QApplication::notify(QObject*)
QApplicationPrivate::notify_helper(QObject*)
QCoreApplicationPrivate::sendThroughObjectEventFilters(QObject*)
QTreeView::viewportEvent(QEvent*)
QAbstractItemView::viewportEvent(QEvent*)
QFrame::event(QEvent*)
QWidget::event(QEvent*)
UMLListView::mouseDoubleClickEvent
UMLObject::showPropertiesDialog
MultiPageDialogBase::exec
QDialog::exec()

which adds objects for each class and synchronous messages for each method from
an initial ::client method.

[kdevelop] [Bug 374844] New: Pretty printer doesn't display printer.to_string() when children are available

2017-01-09 Thread Miguel Tadeu
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374844

Bug ID: 374844
   Summary: Pretty printer doesn't display printer.to_string()
when children are available
   Product: kdevelop
   Version: 5.0.3
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: CPP Debugger
  Assignee: kdevelop-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: m_ta...@yahoo.com
CC: niko.s...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Hi,
I'm making some pretty printers for my project and I noticed that when a
printer has children (internal properties) kdevelop only shows "{...}" on front
of the value.

In the following example, I have something like this:

struct my_int_ref
{
  int _value;
  int _refcount;
  std::string _some_not_important_string;
};

Name   | Value | Type
> my_int_ref_value | {...} | my_int_ref

Since what I want to see usually is the value of that, would be nice to have it
like this

Name   | Value | Type
> my_int_ref_value | 125   | my_int_ref

and open for more detail when needed. But for now, kdevelop is just ignoring
the result of my printer.to_string() and setting the value to "{...}".

Thanks

2017-01-09 Thread David Edmundson
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374731

--- Comment #1 from David Edmundson  ---
Turns out this is quite complicated.

We already have an activity pager-only setting for layout horizontal and
vertical.

Explicitly having a row count goes against this, as it effectively overrides
that first configuration option.

I don't know how to present both things in the UI.

[kde] [Bug 374842] New: 13 version is the wosrt interface suse has ever employed.

2017-01-09 Thread Marden Zepeda
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374842

Bug ID: 374842
   Summary: 13 version is the wosrt interface suse has ever
employed.
   Product: kde
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: eevergreent...@aol.com
  Target Milestone: ---

I am a suse inthusiast since around 2006. I bought the retail versions of suse
10 and suse 11. so i wouldnt have to spend a week downloading them
They were great.
But it seams as time passes, the the brand has lost improvement instead of
gaining it. its as if its de;evolving.
1; I cant use my desktop. anything i try to put there is copied as a widget. or
sent to my home folder. What is a widget, what does it do, why is it being
placed there instead of the file i wnat to place there, and why is my file
being put in a place i didnt specify.
2;after i let a lapse of time pass without giving the machine input, the screen
goes black, giving me only the option to click on the left upper corner, which
lights up as the mouse pointer gets close. but most of the time , when i click
on the highlighted patch nothing happens. its enfuriating. why are my windows
being hidden, and why do i have to click like a maniac chimp to get them back.
3; there is nothing usefull on the desktop, i have to navigate and click some
twenty times to finaly get a screen that looks like a computer interface ,
with a list of drives and folders. I cant do anything here either.
and why not put that list of drives and main folder on the desktop where they
would be handy the way its suposed to be
4; when i finaly manage to place something inside via the windows partition a
file i want to test and work on, i click on it once and the operating sistem
gives me a menu. What for. I only wanted to select the file so i could drag it
around.
5; I try the copy comand to see if that way i can place the files i want to
work with on the desktop. Great there it is, i click copy with the right
button. but when i get to the desktop and right click, there is no paste comand
on the menu.

These are all major, super doopper flaws, not improvements.

then there is more
6; i open yast to see if i can configure the mouse so that it only selects
files when i click once. the way it should be. But there is no mouse module
anywhere in yast. atleast not where it should be, up front with all the other
modules.
7; i insert a dvd. dragon player opens but does not play movie.
8; I loved the 10 and 11 versions of suse because iam a music artist , as such
i use a lot of music lib. and amarok was the best . this lattest version of
amarok does not let me play mp3 or mp4

I can go on. but i think you should get the point.
I asure you that i did buy the 10 and 11 when they were available at compusa in
north america. but as it is, i wouldnt buy 12 , 13 or any future versions if
they keep drifting away from what a computer interface should be.
Inproving it, yes thats cool. I can dig that. but changing everything
around...whats the point.. to waste peopples time i guess. or to prove that you
can do so. you all sure impressed me.

In the geolocation editor. I right click on a file which exposes the
"Bookmarks" menu. Then select the "Edit Bookmarks". Nothing happens.
I am assuming that another dialog should open that allows me to edit the
bookmarks I have put in there.
Currently I have one bookmark called "IMG_1852.JPG" and would like to change
the name to something like "Home".

I am using digikam 5.4.0 beta on OSX El Capitan.
