[plasmashell] [Bug 375257] VirtualBox mini toolbar doesn't respond to mouse clicks
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=375257 --- Comment #10 from Mike E.--- Well, I'm obviously not an expert so I can't say whether or not that particular issue is the same as this, but after reading your post and looking at that bug, I did a little more testing. I found that if I set the window behavior focus policy to "Focus Under Mouse" or "Focus Strictly Under Mouse", when I move the mouse to the top edge of the screen, it raises the VirtualBox mini toolbar like it should and the mouse cursor changes to the host's cursor theme (again like it should, and like it always does with my usually setting of "Click To Focus"). Then if I click on one of the menu items, the guest's screen goes dim (Dim Inactive desktop effect is turned on for the host), the VirtualBox mini toolbar disappears, the mouse cursor theme changes back to the guest's theme (because the mouse is now over the guest's window), and lastly, but most curiously, the host's desktop panels are displayed. The desktop wallpaper is not displayed, just the panels. This lasts for as long as the time set by the "Delay focus by" setting, and then the VirtualBox guest (which the mouse is now over) regains focus and the window brightens. So it does appear that this is related to the window focusing. Hope this gives some more clues to help someone get to the bottom of it. Thanks, Mike E. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 375873] New: PNG Need Option to Preserve Colors on Full Alpha
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=375873 Bug ID: 375873 Summary: PNG Need Option to Preserve Colors on Full Alpha Product: krita Version: 3.1.1 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: File formats Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: bronsonmath...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- PNG supports keeping the color channels bellow the alpha. But there is no way from krita to enable this. For example. Create put an image into krita. Set an alpha channel/mask to full black. Export the image as png. Then open the image, and disable the alpha channel. The image comes out a single black (by default) color. What I expect is that the image should still be there. [krita] [Bug 375867] Audio import problem
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=375867 yuknowmyemail...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||yuknowmyemail...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from yuknowmyemail...@gmail.com --- I'm having a somewhat similar problem on Windows 10. I can get the audio in, but it lagged really bad when I pressed play and started repeating itself and going slowly even though I wasn't scrubbing. When I was scrubbing it seemed to be inaccurate. The test was with an animation I made before updating Krita to 3.1.2 and the audio clip was an mp3. The audio clip was about 5 or 6 seconds long. For now I went back to 3.1.1 because I started having other issues just drawing. [plasmashell] [Bug 375869] New: Application menu crashes plasma 5
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=375869 Bug ID: 375869 Summary: Application menu crashes plasma 5 Product: plasmashell Version: 5.9.0 Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Keywords: drkonqi Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk Reporter: pavestn...@protonmail.com CC: bhus...@gmail.com, plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 Application: plasmashell (5.9.0) Qt Version: 5.7.1 Frameworks Version: 5.30.0 Operating System: Linux 4.9.3-1-default x86_64 Distribution: "openSUSE Tumbleweed" -- Information about the crash: - What I was doing when the application crashed: I was configuring the applications menu to try and integrate it to my desktop. - Unusual behavior I noticed: It crashed plasma. The button in button mode didn't have an icon and the full menu's text is off. Also, the mouse focus in the full menu is off by at least one button. That is, where buttons are "File, Edit, Insert, etc.", if I hover over "File", it will show "File" highlighted, then if I click on "File", it will do what you'd expect, but if I move by a single pixel while staying on "File", it'll switch to "Insert". The box it creates has proper focus, and I have to move significantly to the left to properly select "File". - Custom settings of the application: It crashed once in full menu mode, but crashed several times in button mode. I have a sloppy focus config that might be related to it, since it might somehow switch focus to the bar while it's not expecting it. The focus is set to "follows mouse - mouse precedence" delayed by 100ms. I just want to say that I really appreciate all the work that you put into this and the Plasma desktop is making a lot of great progress. It just keeps getting better and better and never stales. I don't expect my software to be bug free especially when I get it this early, but I can't wait to see what the future holds. It has a lot of potential and I believe that with this much improvement every release it's making good use of that potential. Thank you very much. The crash can be reproduced every time. -- Backtrace: Application: Plasma (plasmashell), signal: Segmentation fault Using host libthread_db library "/lib64/libthread_db.so.1". [ksmserver] [Bug 369391] ksmserver captures and discards standard output/error - debug information lost

In my Debian Stretch system I noticed that no logging from e.g. powerdevil arrives in .xsession-errors. Just before opening a new bug I found that Jonathan Marten already described just the exact same problem. Please find attached a patch against Debian version of plasma-workspace_5.8.4-1, enabling the forwarding to ksmservers stdout/stderr. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

I'm running on a HiDPI configuration: Resolution: 3200x1800 Scale Factor: 2 When I try to use any window decoration other than the ones that come with KDE Neon such as Breeze or Plastik they work fine however when I try to use any of the decorations that I've fetched from the KDE store Such as the Arc KDE https://store.kde.org/p/1167637/ it looks OK on the preview but it does not render properly when I activate it.
