I need to pick a color from the Advanced Color Selector to 'unfreeze' it Steps to replicate this problem: 1) Open the Zoom Selector UI from the Advanced Color Selector 2) Pick any color 3) Go to the Canvas and color-pick any other color 4) The Advanced Color Selector doesn't update I've been experiencing this problem with 3.1.3, 3.1.3-beta, 3.1.1, but I don't know if it's present before then. The attachment is a GIF of me performing the steps and consequences I just mentioned. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krunner] [Bug 379461] New: Enter keypress ignored if too soon
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379461 Bug ID: 379461 Summary: Enter keypress ignored if too soon Product: krunner Version: 5.9.5 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: k...@privat.broulik.de Reporter: pbs3...@googlemail.com Target Milestone: --- I trigger this bug surprisingly often. Steps to reproduce: - Press Alt+F2. - Type the first few letters of a program's name and hit enter, all done extremely quickly (say, less than 100 ms). Expected results: Program launches same as if I had typed it slowly. Actual results: krunner remains open and does nothing. Enter keypress gets ignored because the completion didn't appear in time. Proposed solution: Record a timestamp whenever the enter key is pressed on no suggestions. When a suitably good match to the search string is later found, if enter was pressed less than 200 ms ago then pretend enter had just been pressed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kwin] [Bug 379410] Window tab dragging has no effect
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379410 --- Comment #4 from Bill Michaelson--- (In reply to Martin Gräßlin from comment #3) > We currently don't have any time line on it. With all of GTK going to CSD > I'm not even sure it makes sense to add it as it means a weird user > experience (why can't I add Libreoffice?) I'm not always sure what weird means, but I understand utility. I currently cannot group knotes windows with each other or with other windows because they eschew window manager decorations. I don't regard it as weird, but rather, a feature of that particular application which I have accepted. Still, grouping with window tabs is immensely convenient for dynamically reorganizing elements of my workspace, which typically includes xterms or emacs frames and is a key part of the workflow I have become accustomed to. Now I'm just coming up to speed on this and I had to go learn what CSD means. And I'm bewildered. What is the point of having a window manager if not to provide a consistent user interface for managing windows? It would seem that the placement, sizing and grouping of windows is its core responsibility, and only very exceptional applications should reasonably override WM preferences. I haven't thought through all of the implications, but I would be OK with a heavy-handed approach that encapsulated a window with CSD within a WM frame, if only to restore functionality I find extremely useful. And yeah, that could be weird... but I prefer ugly and weird to broken. Just my thoughts. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

When I drag and drop a URL from a web browser location bar (I tried Firefox and Chromium), after choosing to get a link, instead of getting a .desktop file with a link, Plasma (which module?) tries to create a .desktop to a different URL, full of %00 and using the title of the window. [kcachegrind] [Bug 379438] kcachegrind duplicates calls
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379438 Josef Weidendorferchanged: What|Removed |Added Ever confirmed|0 |1 Status|UNCONFIRMED |ASSIGNED --- Comment #1 from Josef Weidendorfer --- Thanks for the report. The visualized call graph is a part of the full call graph, generated on the fly both in caller and callee direction of the selected function. I obviously have a bug here when the selected function calls itself recursively. The 5x call count is added to the edge two times: once when going into caller direction and another time when adding the callee direction. I have to think about the correct solution here. I probably should remember when I visited a call edge to not pass it again in the other direction... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Committed on 02/05/2017 at 18:14. Pushed by ltoscano into branch 'master'. Solve a visibility conflict for meinproc5 Summary: This seems to affect only mingw, which can't link meinproc5 as the symbol exported affects in the sources shared with the library affects the build (but not on gcc on *nix and with MSVC). The other (probably better) solution would have been to split the source code so that the sources of the libraries are separate, but that would require more changes. As this seems to work, I'd prefer to move the more complicated changes to "later". Thanks to Hannah Von Reth for the hint. Test Plan: Compiles with gcc 6.3 (Debian Testing), as before), with mingw (as deployed on current Craft) and with MSVC (2017) (the latter with less linking warnings so it was an issue there). All on x86_64. [kdenlive] [Bug 379441] New: git master - Movit Nvidia GPU rendering is SLOWER than CPU rendering?
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379441 Bug ID: 379441 Summary: git master - Movit Nvidia GPU rendering is SLOWER than CPU rendering? Product: kdenlive Version: git-master Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Video Display & Export Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: jesse.dub...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- I just tested movit and GPU rendering, which hasn't crashed since I enabled it... which is awesome, but I came across something that's definitely a bug. BEHAVIOR Rendering a 90-second video edit with CPU took 3 minutes 30 seconds, while with Movit GPU rendering enabled, it rendered in 5 minutes 40 seconds! WAY longer than a GPU should be taking to render. I also have two Nvidia GTX 980ti's in my system. I monitored the percentage each GPU was used during rendering, and the 2nd card wasn't used at all, while the 1st card showed only 17-24% utilization of the GPU! EXPECTED BEHAVIOR Much like Blender, actually. Blender uses both Nvidia GPU's for rendering, and Nvidia shows 100% utilization during each frame render; it cuts render time in half, sometimes 3x as fast to use GPU's for rendering in Blender. I'd expect GPU rendering (Nvidia or otherwise) in Kdenlive to be able to render with full utilization of both (or at least one) GPU on my system. BUG DISCOVERED USING Kdenlive 17.07.70 via ppa:kdenlive/kdenlive-master Movit package version 1.4.0-1 Ubuntu GNOME 17.04 x64 GNOME 3.24.0 desktop environment Linux kernel 4.10.0-20-generic 2x Nvidia GTX 980ti graphics cards (SLI'd, though SLI isn't used in Ubuntu) Nvidia 381.09 proprietary driver via ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[k3b] [Bug 137436] Adding support for cdrskin as an alternative to cdrecord/wodim
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=137436 --- Comment #75 from Thomas Schmitt--- Hi, Leslie wrote: > Rok had fixed it https://sourceforge.net/p/cdemu/bugs/101/ Oh. Now it is probably too tolerant. :)) (RESERVE TRACK may not be used with all media types. According to MMC-5 it is related to CD, DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+R DL, HD DVD, BD-R, and unformatted DVD-RW. So with DVD+RW, DVD-RAM, BD-RE, formatted CD-RW, formatted DVD-RW, and BD-R in mode RRM a real drive will probably throw an error.) Whatever, the diagnosis confirms my suspicion that not libburn was to blame in this case. Not this time.
