I do not rely on the thumbnails much, so having no-thumbnail display allows you

I detected that the following effects are keyframable:

  Alpha gradient
  Alpha Operations
  Contrast
  Hue shift
  Denoiser
  Sharpen
  Position and Zoom
  Transform

Adding the suffix (keyframable) to the effect name is very useful to
distinguish from other effects since this effects are usable for animation.

[kaddressbook] [Bug 380062] New: Property names related to messaging (e.g. X-messaging/xmpp-All) are case sensitive

2017-05-21 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380062

Bug ID: 380062
Summary: Property names related to messaging (e.g.
X-messaging/xmpp-All) are case sensitive
   Product: kaddressbook
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: zmwyy...@grr.la
CC: to...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

KAddressbook interprets and displays the property "X-messaging/xmpp-All", for
example, as a Jabber address. However, if the property name is written in
capital letters, i.e. "X-MESSAGING/SKYPE-ALL", KAddressbook ignores the
property despite the vCard specification stating that property names ought to
be case-insensitive.

I am affected by this behaviour because my CardDAV server transforms all
property names to upper case.

PS. This is likely related to Bug 317966.

I'd be more general and say that 5.0 has not been released yet. The porting to
Frameworks is not yet complete, so that version is not ready for production
use. It does do most things, but not all. I can see declining to fix
something in 4.8 if the working code from 5.0 cannot simply be backported
(frameworks instead of kdelibs) but that doesn't make the bug INVALID, it just
means the resolution is I would call that WONTFIX, or perhaps even FIXED in
5.0.

Location of what? It seems you are referring to the location of the archive
(which may be different from the location the archive was extracted to), but if
that's the case I don't get why you would want to open the file manager there.

It is indeed an sftp:// path that is created automatically when a remote
directory is mounted using Ubuntu "Connect to Server" i.e. I mounted the
directory using sftp://nauman@officepc/data. Kate, which is another KDE
software, works perfectly fine. Moreover it also works in my other laptop which
has Ubuntu 14.04, Kile version 2.1.3 using KDE Development Platform 4.13.3.

Git commit 792680d43877efbea7c2367bab564e41da98be45 by Elvis Angelaccio.
Committed on 21/05/2017 at 19:59.
Pushed by elvisangelaccio into branch 'master'.

Do not watch QRC's paths

Watching a QRC path is not supported and results in `"."` being
watched which can lead to problems.

For example in bug #374075 KIO adds ":/kio5/newfile-templates"
as path to watch (this is probably another bug in itself).
If we are already watching "/home/user", this breaks the emission
of the dirty() signal for every new children of "/home/user" (somehow,
the relative path is used for them, e.g. "./foo.txt" instead of
"/home/user/foo.txt"). In particular, in inotifyEventReceived()
e->m_client is empty and so e->path is not added to
e->m_pendingFileChanges. This only happens if "/home/user" is also
the cwd of the process using KDirWatch.

Ignoring QRC paths fixes this issue.

When I use File->Render Animation to export out individual frames for
animation, if files already exist in the target folder location with the same
names, the application stops responding and all ui elements become greyed out
and unresponsive.

[konversation] [Bug 380058] New: Option to hide command messages (like topic and mode messages) from channel buffers

2017-05-21 Thread Frank Fischer
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380058

Bug ID: 380058
Summary: Option to hide command messages (like topic and mode
messages) from channel buffers
   Product: konversation
   Version: 1.7.2
  Platform: Other

  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 105662
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=105662=edit
Patch to hide command messages from channel buffers.

When entering a channel konversation shows several command messages like the
topic, who set the topic, channel modes. These messages are also shown if the
server connection is lost (e.g. due to suspend of the machine) and
reestablished.

As the channel modes and topics seldom change, the buffers (especially if they
have low traffic) are just flooded with completely equal messages (if you use a
laptop you might reconnect several times a day).

AFAICT it is sufficient to modify `appendCommandMessageToChannel` and
`appendCommandMessage` methods to get the desired behaviour. I have append a
patch that hides these messages if the hide join/part option is set. Probably
this is not the best option and one should add another configuration option to
do the same.

[kio] [Bug 380056] New: kio info component creates large amount of empty rekonq tabs

2017-05-21 Thread Lars Fischer
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380056

Bug ID: 380056
Summary: kio info component creates large amount of empty
rekonq tabs
   Product: kio
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: info
  Assignee: hoel...@kde.org
  Reporter: lars.fisc...@gmx-topmail.de
  Target Milestone: ---

Overview:
When I enter "info:ls" rekonq keeps creating new empty tabs. I have to rapidly
close all new tabs to stop that behaviour.

Steps to Reproduce:
Enter "info:ls" into the rekonq address widget or in krunner, without the
quotes.

Actual Results:
rekonq keeps creating new empty tabs.

Expected Results:
Only one tab is created (or the current tab is used) and that tab displays the
info documentation of ls (or whatever string follows the colon).

Additional Information:
I configured rekonq "Search Engines" to use "Colon" as "Keyword delimiter" and
e.g. "man:ls" works as expected, so I dont think it has something to do with my
rekonq settings.

System is Kubuntu 16.04.2, rekonq version is "rekonq
Version 2.4.2
Using KDE Development Platform 4.14.22",
kio-extra package version is: 4:16.04.3-0ubuntu1~ubuntu16.04~ppa61

Ok, I propose this solution: Adding a new "Copy/Move Files" option to the

way you are using it). Here you can specify an absolute folder path doing the
same as the former "Preserve directory structure" option.

Overview:
Dragging any window from the primary screen to the secondary screen through a
vertical panel causes the window to vanish as it is moved.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Dual screens, primary screen on the right, secondary on the left. Both at
1080p resolution.
2) A single panel, vertical, on the left edge of the primary screen (the shared
edge between the two screens).
3) Drag a window from the primary (right) screen to the secondary (left)
screen.

Actual Results:
The dragged window disappears when approximately 70% has moved into the
secondary screen. The window in fact jumps off the lower edge of the visible
screen area.

Expected Results:
The dragged window remains visible as it is moved into the second screen.

Platform:
KDE Neon updated 21/5/2017. Plasma 5.9.5 Frameworks 5.34.0 Qt 5.7.1

[systemsettings] [Bug 380047] New: Breathings of polytonic Greek keyboard not working on ALL QT apps

2017-05-21 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380047

Bug ID: 380047
Summary: Breathings of polytonic Greek keyboard not working on
ALL QT apps
   Product: systemsettings
   Version: 5.9.5
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: grave
  Priority: NOR
 Component: kcm_keyboard_layout
  Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: cuf...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

GR-gr keyboard layout doesn't work on all QT apps (Calligra, Kate, Kwrite
etc.), but works flawlessy on other not-QT apps like Geany, Libreoffice,
Firefox, Google Chrome (where I'm writing), etc.

In short, I can write these chars: ά ὰ ᾶ ᾷ

But in QT apps these chars are not displayed: ἀ ἁ ἄ ἅ ἂ ἃ ἆ etc.

>From my tests, in conclusion, the so called smooth and rough breathings and
their combinations with other diacritics are NOT displayed.

I made my tests on X system (not Wayland).

Thank you very much in advance,
Domenico

Fixed in Qt5.9.0

   Product: krita
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Windows CE
OS: MS Windows
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: critical
  Priority: NOR

  Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org

when i open an image to work on I can't see where the mouse cursor is on the
canvas itself. I can see on the surrounding controls and if I try to draw with
my mouse or tablet it does, but i can't see what I'm doing, nor can I see whats
been drawn until I switch layers which seems to refresh it but I still can
never see where my cursor is on the canvas
