[valgrind] [Bug 382256] New: gz compiler flag test doesn't work for gold
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=382256 Bug ID: 382256 Summary: gz compiler flag test doesn't work for gold Product: valgrind Version: 3.12.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: jsew...@acm.org Reporter: r...@burtonini.com Target Milestone: --- The compiler flag tests for -gz=zlib and -gz=zlib-gnu currently use AC_COMPILE_IFELSE, but as these are basically linker flags it appears this is just checking that the frontend supports them. For example if binutils is configured so that gold is the default linker the tests pass: checking if gcc accepts -g -gz=zlib... yes checking if gcc accepts -g -gz=zlib-gnu... yes but the actual use of them fails: | x86_64-poky-linux-gcc: error: -gz=zlib is not supported in this configuration Changing AC_COMPILE_IFELSE to AC_LINK_IFELSE means that configure detects that -gz=zlib doesn't work but zlib-gnu does, and the build works. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=382253 Bug ID: 382253 Summary: Akonadi restart required to see new email in kmail Product: Akonadi Version: 5.5.2 Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: Gmail resource Assignee: dvra...@kde.org Reporter: thatskinnywhiteguy+...@gmail.com CC: kdepim-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- As many as several times per day, KMail stops getting emails from a Google resource (the only resource currently configured) using IMAP/SMTP. Restarting akonadi (`akonadictl restart`) generally fixes it. If I leave the terminal I used to restart akonadi open, I see a long list of errors that might be relevant. With some filtering intended to ignore kgapi errors, which are from a different resource and probably not relevant, and to protect my privacy, here are some examples: org.kde.pim.akonadicore: Deleting items from the akonadi database failed: "No items found" !org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Payload file "/home/peter/.local/share/akonadi/file_db_data/25/16125_r3" could not be open for reading! org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Error: "No such file or directory" org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Payload file "/home/peter/.local/share/akonadi/file_db_data/24/16124_r3" could not be open for reading! org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Error: "No such file or directory" org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Payload file "/home/peter/.local/share/akonadi/file_db_data/50/16350_r1" could not be open for reading! org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Error: "No such file or directory" org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Payload file "/home/peter/.local/share/akonadi/file_db_data/48/16348_r1" could not be open for reading! org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Error: "No such file or directory" org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Payload file "/home/peter/.local/share/akonadi/file_db_data/53/16353_r1" could not be open for reading! org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Error: "No such file or directory" (There are many more lines like this) org.kde.pim.akonadicore: Creating/updating items from the akonadi database failed: "Unknown error." (Many copies of this last line) org.kde.pim.akonadicore: Creating/updating items from the akonadi database failed: "Multiple merge candidates, aborting" org.kde.pim.akonadicore: Error during ItemSync: "Multiple merge candidates, aborting" It seems unlikely to be a duplicate of #343114 but I thought I'd mention it in case it is; the two do seem to have some superficial similarities. After a while, this became bad enough that I removed the resource entirely and re-authenticated (especially obnoxious because I had to make a new application-specific password for SMTP). It worked like a dream for a week or two and then the same problem cropped up with increasing frequency. Note: I'm not really sure which version number to report. KMail says that it's 5.5.2 but apt says that it's 4:17.04.2-0neon+16.04+xenial+build23. akonadiconsole says it's 0.99. In both applications, the Libraries tab of the About window reports that the version of the KDE Frameworks is 5.35.0. Apt reports version 4:17.04.2-0neon+16.04+xenial+build31 for the akonadi-server package. I'm running a vanilla installation of KDE Neon. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kmail2] [Bug 382252] New: "On you wrote:" has wrong timezone
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=382252 Bug ID: 382252 Summary: "On you wrote:" has wrong timezone Product: kmail2 Version: 5.2.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: composer Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: char...@derkarl.org Target Milestone: --- My machine is set to a certain timezone (EEST right now). I got an email sent from someone in a different timezone (PDT). In my inbox, the original email shows the correct time (i.e., the time as seen from my own timezone). When I click "Reply", the composer appears and adds the text "On you wrote:". This text has the correct date as seen from the original author's side (i.e., it shows the date in PDT), but the timezone shows my timezone. * Alice writes me an email, the time is 11:00 AM PDT or 09:00 PM. * My inbox shows Alice's email (correctly) as 09:00 EEST. * I click "Reply" * The composer now shows "On 11 July 2017 11:00 AM EEST". It should be either "11:00 AM PDT" or "09:00 PM EEST" `date` shows my computer as set to EEST correctly The inbox is correct The message headers are correct -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
