The first bad news is that I spent a day fixing minor issues in the hope that it would fix itself by quitting in a more orderly order. The other bad news is that nothing was fixed beside some highly unlikely race conditions. After cleaning all the zillion Valgrind false positives (thanks Mesa and QtJS!), I found the root of the issue. The main crash here has nothing to do with any of those stacktraces reported above. The problem is: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-52988 The good news is that it's fixed. The other bad news is that no distribution has backported the patch yet. [kdenlive] [Bug 378897] missing cursor in timeline
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=378897 --- Comment #5 from lawrencel...@gmail.com--- Thank you very much for working on this. I am using MLT version 6.5.0 I am trying to reproduce the behavior. I am unable to make the program add a file to any video or audio track. Currently, I am unable to get Kdenlive to accept dragging and dropping, and this may be a problem involving more programs than just this one. The lack of this ability makes Kdenlive essentially unusable, but is not a fault of the program itself. I believe it to be a general problem on my machine, not a specific problem with Kdenlinve. I have been unable to find a solution to the general problem. I am unable to help in reproducing the problem at this time as I cannot get the program to do the most basic functions. Thank you for your efforts to deal with this problem. It may be that your efforts should be directed elsewhere. Currently I am unable to get any functionality out of Kdenlive at all. [kmymoney4] [Bug 357290] unwanted transfer transaction created by ofx
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357290 Jackchanged: What|Removed |Added CC|ostroffjh@users.sourceforge | |.net| --- Comment #9 from Jack --- Swj - I just reread all the entries here, and when the second transaction is created, do you just delete it, or do you manually match it to the other transaction already present? If you delete it, you will have the situation you opened the bug about. However, if you match them, then the banks ID for the transaction should remain, and the next import should be recognized as a duplicate. Ralf - this would be difficult to do with an anonymized file, as the relation between an investment and brokerage account is lost when saving as anonymous (see bug 340902). However, it might be possible to create a new file with only the necessary accounts, and then manually clean identifiers out of the two ofx files, one for each account. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Committed on 21/08/2017 at 17:37. Pushed by dvratil into branch 'Applications/17.08'. Don't set KMKernel::xmlGuiInstanceName() by default This is a porting regression - KMKernel by default should have an invalid xmlGuiInstance, which implies that KMail is not running as a component. When xmlGuiInstance is set, like from KMail::Part, then we know we are running inside Kontact or similar. Before this change xmlGuiInstance was always set by the Kernel, so code that was using this to check if it's running inside Kontact or not did not work. Together with a porting typo fix, this fixes the ambiguous Ctrl+N shortcut in KMail inside Kontact. The taskbar shows which programs were open at that time. Actual window contents (like web browser) are current, while anything related to the desktop environment (task bar, kde clock widget, kde rss reader) displays a state from the past.
