"New volume group" window: can't type in the "Volume Group Name:" field

I've created a LVM2 PV partition on my disk.  And now I'm trying to create the
volume group from the menu option: Tools > Create Volume Group

It won't let me type in the "Volume Group Name:" field, and therefore I also
can't hit "Ok" to create the volume group.

When I run partitionmanager with a terminal open to view its text output, this
error message comes up every single time I press a key in the field (but no
characters appear in the text field):

QRegularExpressionPrivate::doMatch(): called on an invalid QRegularExpression
object

I've attached a screenshot of the screen I'm talking about.

I'm using: "partitionmanager 3.2.0" - installed from the official Manjaro
repos, 64bit OS.

I'm not overly experienced with LVM, so please let me know if I've
misunderstood something.

Moving from Ubuntu Unity to Kde Neon and I really miss being able to quickly
arrange my windows.  I have a multi-monitor setup:

The portrait monitors are great for reading documents and long pages of text. 
But this setup is really powerful when you can divide up the application space
to consume half monitor per application.  Without the shortcut keys it's slow
and manual to move windows around until they sit in the right spot.

In Unity you can use META-kp{1-9} which would maximise the current window to
either:
 Meta-5 Full Screen
 Meta-2 Half Screen (bottom half)
 Meta-8 Half Screen (top half)
 Meta-3 Quarter Screen (Bottom right)
 etc...

I notice that KWin has the 'snap to' functionality to bring the window to a
quarter screen layout.  It would be great if this had more functionality.

I had removed the .config folder after filed the bug and it was working so far.
Today, I have the same reversed scroll behaviour in some apps. I will try to do
a "binary search" in the .config folder to find out which file is causing
problems.

You're right, though at this moment it would be difficult for me to do a
dual boot because I'm running out of HD memory. After I tested Krita on the
Windows machine I realized that it also uses an Intel integrated graphic
card, so I made the test. We would have to wait if the other report
coincides with the specs of the mac then.

Also, you haven't clearly specified whether the problem transactions in the
ledger are before or after that transaction has actually been entered.  To
clarify, when you create a schedule, the next one or two upcoming instances of
that schedule are shown in the register, but only as a sort of place-holder. 
Since they are only scheduled, you can't do anything to them in the register. 
Only when it is "entered" does it become a real transaction you can manipulate.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Ensure that your machine has the proper video codecs to play videos
2. Use Dolphin to connect to a password-protected Windows Samba share
3. Navigate to a video file on the share
4. Copy the file to a local disk and open it in Dragonplayer to make sure that
Dragonplayer is able to play it locally
5. GO back to the share and Double-click on the file or right-click on it and
choose Open With > DragonPlayer


Expected results:
Dragonplayer plays the file over the nwtwork


Actual results:
Dragonplayer opens and displays the filename in the status bar on the bottom,
but the video itself never shows up or starts to play.


If I open the file in Dragonplayer using the command line to get extra debug
info, here's the result:

I am experiencing a bug which prevents me from downloading or uninstalling
themes for the window decorator, desktop, color scheme, cursor scheme, etc...

After logging in if I access the theme downloaders it will display available
themes but clicking "install" does nothing. Attempting to uninstall themes also
does nothing. If I close the dialog and then open it again it does not show any
available themes but instead provides an error message as follows:

"Loading of providers from file https://download.kde.org/ocs/providers.xml
failed"

At first I thought this was an issue with your server, but this has been
occurring for quite some time now. This issue is able to be reproduced 100% of
the time and I am positive that my internet connection is working properly.

Fix viewport on vertically stacked monitors

Summary:
We want to translate by the monitor position, so that needs to be
the negative of the position.

But Kwin/KScreen treats 0 as the top of all monitors. GL treats 0 as
bottom, so that all needs inverting.

Hence this should be a positive y value for the viewport.
Related: bug 386099

Test Plan:
Had two monitors
Side by side was - fine
Stacked vertically - still fine

Modded X code to extend in y instead of x.
3 monitors worked fine.

Nested wayland only seems to support one screen?

okay so when i hover my pen/cursor over the canvas, it doesnt show up. i tried
restarding my computer, unplugging my tablet, and reopening krita but each time
it doesn't work. gonna have to go back to old programs if this doesnt get fixed
any time soon :  (

do both file and db operations on grouped items

Summary:
This is just a quick fix to be consistent again. It resolves groupes no matter
what, while grouping should be properly handled by views. This manifested in
drag, where groups are not yet handled.

Then don't change the status. We still need a developer who understands both
Plasma as well as KDEPIM code, because the bug is anywhere between the two.

We can change the status to CONFIRMED once we know where the bug is exactly.
Until then, hope that someone who can reproduce provides useful valgrind logs,
or does other investigations.

libkface has always been an optional dependency for KPhotoAlbum, and has been
disabled by default since November 2016.

A JPG file taken with a low end Polaroid digital camera

I have a series of JPG images from the same digital camera and some display,
and some do not. On one of the pictures that would not display, I chose to open
in default application, and Window Photo Viewer showed it. I then clicked
Editor in digiKam and the application crashed. Pretty sure the attached picture
is what I was looking at. There may be some corruption towards the bottom, but
other files with similar issues display in digiKam.

Which version of KMyMoney are you using? This is indeed a very strange
behavior. What happens, if you right click on such a transaction? In case a
context menu appears (which is the intended behavior) I am interested in the
title line of that context menu.

Until 2 minutes ago I was still seeing this issue, with parts of the interface
being translated, other parts not - on Linux. No more such issue on Mac, which
made me realise that my Linux rig has all KF5 stuff in a sub-prefix, and a
Plasma4 desktop env. available via the root. Apparently the translation
subsystem picks its data where it can be found without prioritising the own
prefix.

It does remain curious that not all applications are affected (as far as I can
tell).

I did eventually manage to log in, by iterating through several possible
combinations of passwords and user names, combined with making a few lucky
guesses regarding the user name.

Even so, I think this bug should remain open until KDE forums implements an
obvious and straightforward way for a user to deal with situations where an
attempt to log into the forums has failed. 

A link to a "how to" would solve the problem, including not just "how to reset
the password" (which I didn't need to do - I had the right password) but also
"how to retrieve the user name or else get a new user name", and as a last
resort an actual way to send an email to someone at KDE who can deal with
problems not covered in the "how to".

Thanks for the prompt reply, I definitely must be doing something wrong 
as the scheduled transaction entry does not look greyed out but is when 
it gets posted in the ledger.

It doesn't happen to every record set up in Schedule Transactions, just 
certain ones. Does it depend on what payment method you choose for each 
transaction?

I have a loan account, set up with a scheduled transaction for the monthly
payments.  I just mapped the account to an online account (Chase) which went
fine, using the built-in libofx.  However, if I select the menu Account/Edit, I
get the edit load account wizard, and no ability to edit the online account
details, such as ofx header version and date for oldest requested transaction.

This is with 4.8.1 from git, but I assume the same holds true for git master.
