[krusader] [Bug 386314] Sidebar (Popup panel previously) buttons are missing
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=386314 --- Comment #5 from Nikita Melnichenko --- Actually, the layout.xml under ~./local is not a problem. The app reads /usr/share/krusader/layout.xml which is from old 2.6.0 version. The file is installed by a package manager. In the code it comes from QStandardPaths::DataLocation - I'm not sure how to overcome the problem properly. Is this supposed to be sensitive to install prefix? CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX="/usr/local" doesn't solve the problem. Any hints are appreciated. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kwin] [Bug 389495] When GTK3 applications request SSD, decorations are either not shown or show SSD on top of CSD
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=389495 --- Comment #16 from Kyle Devir --- Thanks Martin, When GTK3 requests SSD, GTK3 should be dropping the remaining CSD for Evince and others, allowing an SSD provider to do their own decorations. This is a GTK3 bug, I believe. Without said bug, the SSD should work properly, instead of being buggy and weird. However, for MyPaint and such, because SSDs are being requested, KWin should be providing SSD. When it requests CSD, leaving it undecorated is the right thing to do, however, as you explained. This bug is weirder than the first one, because I'm not so sure it's a GTK3 bug. Why isn't KWin also providing SSD for MyPaint and such, as it does for Evince and others, in spite of the CSD shown in the latter? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kmymoney] [Bug 382111] Ledger column widths incorrect and can't be adjusted; help file has nothing about column widths
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=382111 Dave F changed: What|Removed |Added CC||dforions...@gmail.com --- Comment #3 from Dave F --- I have KMM v.4.8.0 with accompanying KDE 4.12.5 installed on Windows 7 x32. Under Settings/Configure KMyMoney/Fonts, either {Ledger} Cell font or Header font changes do not change regardless of font or fontsize chosen, also regardless whether "Use system fonts" is checked or not checked. I have no basis to assume this is a Windows or KDE issue but in a similar KDE app called Homebank, the dev indicated it had something to do with KDE. Is there anything I can do to correct this as I have vision issues and would greatly benefit from a larger font. Thank you very much. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kde-gtk-config] [Bug 389523] New: GDK_DPI_SCALE seems to have changed with the latest updates to 0.571429. Firefox, Chromium and Thunderbird now have tiny fonts on a hidpi screen despite existing set
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=389523 Bug ID: 389523 Summary: GDK_DPI_SCALE seems to have changed with the latest updates to 0.571429. Firefox, Chromium and Thunderbird now have tiny fonts on a hidpi screen despite existing settings to scale the display. Product: kde-gtk-config Version: 5.11.95 Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: manutort...@chakra-project.org Reporter: aayush.agarwal...@yahoo.com CC: aleix...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 110156 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=110156&action=edit The tabs and menu bars have tiny fonts, unlike the window decoration and browser. I have a laptop with a hidpi screen (14" 1440p). I configured my dpi to 168 and scaled the display to 1.75. I had to set layout.css.devPixelsPerPx;1.75 on firefox, while thunderbird was fine out of the box with my dpi and monitor scaling settings. This configuration worked just fine until tumbleweed updated to more recent snapshots. Firefox interface fonts became very small, while Thunderbird became tiny. Modifying the layout.css attribute in thunderbird restored order to the mail size, but the interface is still tiny. Chromium too became tiny, with no scaling to respect hidpi screens. I tried appending export GDK_DPI_SCALE=1.75 to my .profile. I figured maybe there was a change in the configuration which caused this. However that did not work. I dug around and found that while GDK_SCALE was 1.75, GDK_DPI_SCALE was 0.571429. My export statement was ignored. Multiply the values of the two environmental variables and you get 1.0075, or almost exactly 1x scaling. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Output was > Indexing /home/andr/ > File(s) indexed > Why do you think that this bug is related to searchung? Thanks for the quick response. I thought that this bug might happen because baloo (the file indexer from KDE) had a problem picking up the metadata of your files in the home directory. And then you are plagued by 30 by thirty ghost notifications (maybe they are created whenever dolphin asks for overwrite confirmation?) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
