After upgrading to the 5.12 beta, I can no longer start kwin_wayland on my
laptop if it's docked (+ 2 external monitors, mouse and keyboard).

Wifi icon when inactive is too faint. On TN panels, the icon is barely visible
in its default state after installation. It would be good if it had a little
more contrast, or perhaps fully opaque and an indicator that the wifi is
disconnected.

After reporting bug 389671 I've caused two more crashes. It may be that I have
to have two documents open and the (nifty) Path Editing tool in use; I tried
just opening the Blank Worksheet and having two simple spreadsheets open, and
quit from the (X) window control did not trigger a crash. This crash was after
using the path editor and has a similar but not identical backtrace. Hope this
helps.

I also realize that my Fedora 27 wants to update a bunch of packages, including
Calligra (which is what inspired me to try it). I don't think I started the
update, but it's possible my system is in a mid-upgrade state.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

Which distro are you using?

There was a bugfix applied recently, which tried to fix the problem of a not
working authentication for some people. But it appears to have created problems
for others.

Unfortunately i don't know the source of the problem, but a few days ago, we
changed the authentication process again, using a more robust method. Would you
try to compile libkgapi yourself and check, whether the second change fixes
your problem?

I can give you detailed instructions if needed.

I had never used this before. I started a new document from "Student ID Card"
template and fiddles around a bit, then File > New and created another from
"Blank Worksheet".I clicked the (X) window decoration button on I think the
Student ID Card, confirmed I wanted to discard my work, and crash. The console

I immediately repeated similar steps only opening one window, and no crash. I

- What I was doing when the application crashed:
1. I added a new CalDAV account (Fastmail to be exact)
2. I explored the interface, and added a journal entry to see how that worked
3. I assigned colors to a few of the calendars
4. I selected an event from the Week view; this event was an instance of a
recurring series, one which I had modified to be on a Wednesday at 10am instead
of the usual Tuesday at 9am
5. I pressed the delete key. A confirmation dialog appeared, asking if I was
sure that I wanted to delete the event. I thought it was strange that it didn't
ask me if I wanted to delete the whole series, or just the one occurrence, but
I went ahead and allowed it.

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
Immediately after confirming the deletion, a notification appeared regarding a
CalDAV related service crashing. Then, the event reappeared as its typical
Tuesday @ 9am.

fix, because applications would need to load the attributes together with the
file to be able to save them later. Are there existing applications (either by

My patch was too controversial, and I've decided to to a thorough re-work of
the bottom button bar for increased usability. The new one won't even have a
discard button, as it's clearly not needed--just close the window or quit the
program to discard--same as every other program that lets you save files.

FWIW, the save button's last mode is now remembered by default, and as of
https://phabricator.kde.org/D10198, "Save As" will be the default option.

Granted I'm using an older version but that's because it comes with my Distro
and this wish could already be resolved. 

My wish is that in the "search for text" within a pdf the ability to use
boolean expressions like + or - or ", rather than exact phrase.

Rounding GDK_SCALE to the next integer (2x?) will make the UI too big. Why not

Only showing archive.ubuntu.org or flathub.org sounds like a good compromise to
me. It sounds like for Debian-based distros, we'll have to do a bit of string
processing before presenting the data to the user until and unless PackageKit
provides us with better data. This sucks, but Debian-based distros are so
popular that I think it makes sense to do in the interests of usability.
Besides, if we don't, our Ubuntu users aren't gonna blame Ubuntu, they're gonna
blame us!

3. actually not; I was talking about giving the actual list widget itself side
padding so that the page's gray background is visible on  either side of
it--just like with the browse and search lists.

4. Yeah, we could move the help menu elsewhere. Here's a thought: maybe onto
the sidebar?

If I save a pdf while the sidebar view is on Thumbnails, it switches the view
to Contents. This is true if I've last clicked on the contents of the pdf,
