Only the 'Name' column is resized in version > >2.0.0. > > For me this is definitely a feature because all columns except "Name" have > content with a (more or less) fixed size. Only the length of filenames are > heavily varying. I also like current resizing policy, however in this extreme case it makes Krusader useless. > Both proposed options are a regression in my opinion. I second. Let's figure out a good way to address this. Let's consider the app in full width and now we slowly reduce the horizontal size. What should happen? IMO, the Name column should resize to a certain min width (like 6 symbols or so) and then other columns should: a) start resizing b) start hiding themselves in some priority c) be hidden in favor of a Brief View Do you like any of these options? [Spectacle] [Bug 394182] New: Customized screenshot directory is not respected in certain actions
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=394182 Bug ID: 394182 Summary: Customized screenshot directory is not respected in certain actions Product: Spectacle Version: 18.04.0 Platform: Debian testing OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: General Assignee: m...@baloneygeek.com Reporter: m...@tgries.de Target Milestone: --- I changed the screenshot directory from (default) ~/Bilder to ~/Bilder/Screenshots . I noticed that when I click "save", the screenshot is correctly stored to the new directory, but when I click "save under...", the old default directory ~/Bilder is opened for selection, not the new one. Similar problem for the menu point Extra > Open screenshot folder. Also here, the old default folder is opened (~/Bilder) but I expected that my customized folder ~/Bilder/Screenshot is opened. Bug? [Spectacle] [Bug 394181] New: Exporting to Imgur: i) catch and ii) store the ephemeral one-time Imgur deletion Url in a local logfile
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=394181 Bug ID: 394181 Summary: Exporting to Imgur: i) catch and ii) store the ephemeral one-time Imgur deletion Url in a local logfile Product: Spectacle Version: 18.04.0 Platform: Debian testing OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: General Assignee: m...@baloneygeek.com Reporter: m...@tgries.de Target Milestone: --- Problem: When a user uploads a screenshot to Imgur, Spectacle only retrieves and displays the resulting *.png image, but the ephemeral deletion url is not even shown and therefor lost forever. Rationale, why I chose "grave": I set the Severity to "grave" as the lack of the deletion url can lead to privacy/security issues when a controversial or somehow critical (e.g. copyrighted) image is uploaded accidentally. Perhaps you want to set to "wishlist". Therefore I suggest a plaintext logfile which keeps for each uploaded image the deletion url. Info: the Windows "Greenshot" tool ( http://getgreenshot.org/ )is a very nice tool from which I know this feature, and to which development I contributed when I was still using Windows (now, I do not any more). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=394177 Bug ID: 394177 Summary: K3B won't close after copying Product: k3b Version: 17.12.0 Platform: Mageia RPMs OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Burning/Hardware Assignee: k...@kde.org Reporter: lloyd.os...@accesscomm.ca CC: mich...@jabster.pl, tr...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Ok,so I just did the major Mageia update that was released on Friday May 11 > I knew K3B had a couple of bugs in it, which I had hoped were fixed. Anyway, I'm running K3B 17.12.2 on Mageia 6 with all updates. This morning I tried burning a Blu-ray disc. The disc burns OK (or at least it says it does) First thing I notice is that I'm unable to close K3B by clicking on the "X" in the top right-hand corner. I have to use Konsole and the kill command to stop it. I'm pretty sure the disc doesn't finalize correctly. I think it's a problem with growisofs. I can't make a copy of the disc because I get an error that says "unsupported media type." (I'm also going to try installing Mageia 6 under VirtualBox.) I know it's not my hardware, as it works perfectly under Windows 10 using several different programs. Please tell me what I need to do to fix these two problems. Thank you! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[systemsettings] [Bug 394172] CLose setting

[krita] [Bug 394171] Text Sizes Are Too Large
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=394171 --- Comment #2 from Kenneth Evans --- The DPI of the image is 300. At 1600 x 1200, that makes it 3" high, and the fonts are consistent with that. So now I understand how it works, and it isn't a bug. I thought when I made it that it was 16" x 12" @ 300 dpi, in which case I wouldn't have had this problem. I apparently got the wrong preset. I would still like a smaller font. Other programs let you enter a number for the font. But that would be a feature request. I have figured out in the meantime that I can use the SVG mode and set the size, which is a workaround. I apologize for the submission, and I appreciate your help. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[dolphin] [Bug 393412] Dolphin fails to build with disabled support for Baloo
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=393412 --- Comment #9 from Shivang Saxena --- For end-users installing from their distro's package manager, I completely agree, since they are released together. But for developers, we already have had two cases where developers (me and OP) try to build from source but receive a compile-time error with no indication that an outdated baloo-widgets is the culprit. I would love to try to add versioning checks but not sure where or how to start. If someone more experienced can pitch in that would be great! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[digikam] [Bug 392134] SIGSEGV While Scanning Faces [patch]
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=392134 --- Comment #38 from Maik Qualmann --- Ok, thanks Simon. I do not want to do another test. I am sure that the cause of the QHash list is me remaining dead elements that are being read out via access with iterator. Why the error occurs only or rather with the AppImage, I do not know. We will use QMap here. There are very few elements in the list, and even a QMap is faster than a QHash with linear access speed. We will keep an eye on QHash lists elsewhere as well, in case of strange crashes, e.g. in the album or tag model. I close the bug first, if necessary open it again.
