I am using Kate/KWrite on a fresh install of Kubuntu Bionic.

I was trying to manually convert a plaintext file to HTML so tried to replace
'\n' (without quotes of course) to '\n' but I found that  isn't
added to empty lines or lines with pure whitespace (line below ddf in following
example has a space) and the last line:

BEFORE FIND/REPLACE:

I have just downloaded Neptune 5 Plasma5 to a second machine.

HP EliteBook i5-2520M 4Gig memory.

Discover crashed and was the second app I ran.

Prior to that I added Latte.

I note from bug reports this appears to be a common fault.

Testa,

To be able to start DK with last PKG installer, please remove the following
files :

- _your_home_directory_/Library/Application Support/digikam
- _your_home_directory_/Library/Preferences/digikamrc
- _your_path_to_your_database_/.mysql.digikam

Mine :

- /Users/gilles/Library/Application Support/digikam
- /Users/gilles/Library/Preferences/digikamrc
- /Users/gilles/Pictures/.mysql.digikam

The last one is typically the place of the first collection registered to to
your database setup. For me, it's a local directory from my home dir.

For me the problem is now fixed. All work as expected.

Note : i will rebuild the PKG today with the last code from git, but the
current uploaded PKG must work fine on your computer.

FYI I have the same issue as David. The gradient seems to map only between the
gradient stops corresponding to the two lightest values.

Example:

 - only the green to red part of the spectrum is mapped
 - blue to green part of the spectrum is ignored

DK 6.0.0 trace from scratch with Mysql internal server

Maik,

I tried my last PKG with all Mariadb binaries fixes, and now all work as
expected.

See my trace for details, from the start to the end of first run session. All
settings removed, and previous database deleted.

I hit "Git Push" while inside a clone repo from

The cloned repo was copied from a Fedora 27 system were i experience the same

I also have this problem.  (And it looks like there are two duplicate reports.)

I have a freshly installed Kubuntu 18.04.
Yakuake 3.0.5
Plasma 5.12.4
KDE Frameworks 5.44.0

I have a laptop-type setup with a secondary screen _above_ the primary screen.

When I reboot, Yakuake opens for the first time on the top screen (Screen 2). 
I change the screen, either with the submenu or the configure dialog, and I can
see that ~/.config/yakuakerc gets saved with the new setting (Screen 1).  After
logging out and back in, Yakuake opens on the top screen again.

Hi there,

As a powerful digikam user and also a naturalist, I think that an export
feature to inaturalist would be very helpful.

background:

inaturalist is a community website which allow to identify both plants and
animals based upon pictures: we submit a picture, add geotag and a date if
there are not embedded in the metadatas, suggest a species and the community
will help us to define very precisely the species which have been shooted.

main feature request:

being able to export to inaturalist from digikam like the google photos export
does (automatic login, save credentials, convert raw files into the supported
formats by inaturalist).

others useful features requests:

- Being able to identify from digikam which files have been submitted and which
not: it will avoid to being able to compare your submissions from inaturalist
website and digikam, task which can be time consuming.

- Having an option which doesn't allow submission of pictures which don't have
embedded geotag: this is not a real problem in inaturalist to set afterward the
geotag, but this is another time we'll have to contribute afterward in
inaturalist: it should be done only in digikam, and inaturalist would be there
only for identification.

- being able to embed the taxonomy which have been defined in inaturalist in
the pictures tags: taxnonomy is a very complex classification, and copy them in
the pictures tags is a very long task if we do numerous submissions. 
>From my side, I copy all the taxonomy found in inaturalist in my pictures. Our
exchanges on the mailing list highlight that not everyone copy all the taxonomy
so perhaps being able to configure which part of the taxonomy should be copied
would be useful. Take care: taxonomy is provided in differents languages. We
should be able to configure in which lang the taxonomy would be embedded.

- What I was doing when the application crashed: I encountered this a few times
I uninstalled the OS and reinstalled it, opened up Discover, and it would work
just fine. As soon as I updated it though, Discover worked fine until it was
closed. Whenever it is closed it crashes on start.

So it work, but... to obtain this good result, i was need to fix a broken
dependency with ncurse to execute mysql executable.

So i think the problem come from a missing mysql parse of binaries files when
PKG is built at end. I will fix it.

Note : so no need a special account to create database under MacOS.

This is caused by the css from the website. This has nothing to do with the
image tag. It would be resized if the  tag says it should.

Again, this is not a bug, Akregator does exactly what it was told to.

It happened again. Amongst my programs open I have two windows of inkscape. I
tried to bring forth the second windows to focus but it wouldn't appear. The
glitch happened after I had pressed the icon several times trying to bring
forth the window.

Hi Imani,

Of course Krita supports tablets. However, many cheaper tablets have awful
drivers that have only been tested with Photoshop. In the past three, four
years there has been no case where an issue with pen pressure was not caused by
a broken driver.

However, you haven't told us:

* which OS you are using, exactly
* what tablet you are using
* which version of the tablet driver you are using
* the tablet log output

The screenshot is not very useful. Please attach the logfile, and tell us what
the exact specifications are of your animation .kra file (colorspace, channel
depth, size etc.) or give us a link to download it.

Two questions:

1. Is it possible to update the indidrivers.xml with the committed changes in
Windows without rebuilding from source?

forget this thread. it had sth to do with the file. i transferred it over from
my desktop btw. i think i mentioned that somewhere.
i created a file full of gradients and kept filling layers up to 424M which is
bigger than my previouzs file. i was still able to do everything i wanted
though.

This is the popup that I receive.

Hi, whenever I use Krita and go to render an animation I get a popup that says
that the rendering failed. Whenever I check the FFmpeg log files all it says is
that the problem should not have happened. Granted, there may be something else
in there that I just don't understand, however I've been able to render
animations in the past. At first I thought that either FFmpeg or Krita was our
of date, but even after updating I still received the problem. I've also tried
rendering it in several ways to no avail.

No it wasn't... didn't realize that was a prerequisite.
I had pulled all USB cables except the Guider USB cable to make sure it wasn't
a USB problem.

actually, i decreased the undo stack size and now i've encountered the same
problem with over 200 mb of ram unused while i was able to work on other files
with even less ram left. vram should do the trick, so shouldn't it just get
slower if the ram is used up?

thanks, that sounds plausible. however, with a lower memory limit, i can't even
open the file i wanted to edit. i guess i have to protect myself from doing
that then by decreasing the memory limit, haha. 

i checked occupied ram and stuff and krita was using 600mb as well as reserving
a similar amount that isn't actually in use when the file is open with as
little as 100 mb remaining unused. does that confirm your suspicions?

Look like the collection after first scan completed is available and ready to
use. Look like the local collection has moved as a removable one. Why ?

No wrong alert. socket file is well created.This is not the problem.

I restart digiKam and setup a local collection. Scan is started. At end DK said
that it cannot add the collection to DB.
