[digikam] [Bug 383987] Flickr tool no longer authenticates to Flickr
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383987 --- Comment #5 from Martin Senftleben --- Alright, I have a similar bug just reported, and now see that it seems to be different. I am using version 5.9 of kipi-plugins and version 6.0.0 of digikam, so according to this bug report the problem should be fixed, but it isn't or rather it has reappeared. In my case the export/export to flickr tool doesn't open a browser (which it never did!), and it doesn't request authentication at all. It just doesn't connect to flickr at all, it seems. So either this one has to be set to REOPENED, or I have to reopen the other bug report again...??? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kate] [Bug 406617] New: Use .editorconfig and .kateconfig at the same time
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406617 Bug ID: 406617 Summary: Use .editorconfig and .kateconfig at the same time Product: kate Version: unspecified Platform: unspecified OS: unspecified Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: part Assignee: kwrite-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: sniperrifle2...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- I am currently moving from atom to kate and have some difficulty getting the combination of settings I want for a project. The project uses a .editorconfig for consistent indentation and other general settings and this works fine. Unfortunately this does not support connecting a file type to a glob, which means syntax highlighting does not always work properly (In particular with templating languages or files with extensions that are otherwise not directly mappable to their syntax). So I decided to use a personal .kateconfig file with document variables to set the syntax. However after that the editorconfig settings were no longer applied. I did read that KatePart prioritizes .kateconfig files, but I did not expect the editorconfig to be ignored completely. So I would like kate to read them both, so I can leverage kate-wildcard document variables for stuff that editorconfig doesn't handle. I suggest reading configuration like this (Altered from https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/applications/katepart/config-variables.html): - The global configuration. - Optional session data. - The "Filetype" configuration. > - Properties in .editorconfig. < - Document variables in .kateconfig. - Document variables in the document itself. - Settings made during editing from menu or command line. NOTE: From a project "I want consistent settings" perspective it would make more sense to prioritize editorconfig, but from the editor perspective prioritizing the editor specific configuration makes more sense. It's tricky because both configurations work at the same logical level. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[lattedock] [Bug 406580] "Hide background for not maximized windows" not working when PLASMA_USE_QT_SCALING=1
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406580 --- Comment #1 from Michail Vourlakos --- The use of PLASMA_USE_QT_SCALING is not suggested for Plasma + X11 environments. Plasma devs are very clear about this. The reason is that the combination breaks too many things around Plasma, more importantly the window geometries provided from X11 are not valid. Nonetheless in plasma code here and there there are workarounds in order to make the experience affordable, and improve a bit the scaling experience under X11. So my comment in this is the following, I will try to provide a small workaround but it will be only for in-development branch and not for the stable one and as long the workaround DO NOT break any other parts of Latte. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 405924] ONLY ON RENDERING after a while all trasnitions are misplaced by some seconds...
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405924 --- Comment #25 from Davy Bartoloni --- Created attachment 119450 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=119450=edit Audio and video tarcks are also de-synced after 20 test changing averything.. i was able to open again an old project, and there are again the misplacement, but the VERY STRANGE THING is that audio and video tracks (audio not disconnected from video track) are also de-synced.. and i can move the track left or right with the audio track shifted by some seconds on the future! this mean that the de-sync is happening when creating a project... but on the time line averything seems ok. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[krita] [Bug 398959] Chromebook pen works but does not draw (draws in "Tablet Tester"!)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398959 --- Comment #7 from Boudewijn Rempt --- Debian repos are maintained by debian maintainers -- we don't have any influence there. We do maintain an Ubuntu PPA (https://launchpad.net/~kritalime/+archive/ubuntu/ppa), but our preferred way of providing Linux binaries are appimages -- those work almost anywhere: see https://www.davidrevoy.com/article322/krita-appimage-for-cats -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[dolphin] [Bug 405892] Font preview looks badly rendered in tooltip when I hover over a font file
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405892 --- Comment #3 from Christoph Feck --- Have yet to investigate, but I guess the font preview is not rendered by dolphin, but by the font thumbnailer. Is the issue only with Wayland? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[k3b] [Bug 406609] New: Problem of burning BD-RE 25 GB ISO images K3B 2.0.3
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406609 Bug ID: 406609 Summary: Problem of burning BD-RE 25 GB ISO images K3B 2.0.3 Product: k3b Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Image Formats Assignee: k...@kde.org Reporter: photoshoot...@gmail.com CC: mich...@jabster.pl, tr...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 119449 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=119449=edit screenshot SUMMARY Problem of burning BD-RE 25 GB ISO images STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Insert an BD-R preformated BluRay 25 GB 2. Try to burn an iso image (for example : debian-9.8.0-amd64-BD-1.iso) OBSERVED RESULT According to the error popup window (see the pic below), it seems that K3B considers that media is already burned and it does not propose to reformat it. The inserted BluRay disc is blank and has been formatted with the same application for first use. EXPECTED RESULT Burn the media SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux Debian Wheezy, Jessie and Stretch K3B version : 2.0.3 (on the 3 distro) Media : SONY Corp. BD-RE 25 GB 1-2x Hardware used : burners : - MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ272 (via the USB port) - MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ260AF PC : - HP Pavilion g7 (SATA) - Z83II-Mini-PC (USB) - ASUS K52F (USB) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION : The K3B can format the media and I used it with Nero 4 for linux without problem to burn BluRay ISO like debian-9.8.0-amd64-BD-1.iso. (Nero doesn’t work to format the media). There is also an older burning problem of small 1.4GB DVDs. Burning fails when closing the disc. The problem only applies to 1.4GB DVD-R, not 1.4GB DVD-RE. --- Not tested with new versions of K3B 17.xx.xx or 18.xx.xx -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
