[plasmashell] [Bug 396529] Auto Hide panel: Some tray icon menu entries cannot be clicked
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=396529 bastimeyer...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||bastimeyer...@gmail.com --- Comment #2 from bastimeyer...@gmail.com --- This happens when opening tray icon contextmenus of GTK2 applications. I'm running into the same issue when using hexchat or smartgit. The panel should not hide until the context menu gets closed, like when showing contextmenus of non-GTK2 applications or plasma widgets. Instead, the panel hides and the opened contextmenu becomes partially unusable, which is probably related to the position of the panel, but I'm not sure. In case of hexchat, I'm unable to click the bottom menu item (quit app), unless I'm fast enough before the panel gets fully hidden. Dear Emohr, it seems to work now! I wanted to send you an image of my desired layout, when I had to realize, that I obviously had deleted it accidentally yesterday by trying to change different parts of my configuration. After that, I deleted all of kdenlive’s actual temporary and config-files again, made a new system-update (where some bibs have been renewed – unfortunately, I haven’t noticed, which ones) and restarted the computer. After that, kdenlive works without a crash yet. :-) Thank you for your commitment! It looks, that you where right, and there was indeed a fault in my configuration. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=409141 --- Comment #8 from Philippe Waroquiers --- Thanks for the small reproducer. This small test case is revealing a bunch of problems related to termination of a process when it kills itself, and some problems in the gdbserver debug tracing. This last thing was easily fixable (commit 90d831171). Otherwise, it looks like there are at least 2 problems: * the hang reported here * but a similar hang in case the main thread is sending the signal to the other thread. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=408219 --- Comment #3 from Christoph Feck --- Hm, PatienceView is just a QGraphicsView. Maybe QGraphicsView does not use "round to outside" mode when rounding floating point coordinates that result from using fractional scaling.
