[kdenlive] [Bug 409033] Blank Screen

2019-06-26 Thread emohr
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=409033

I downgraded and tested x.6709 successfully on my laptop.
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28731/Intel-Graphics-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers

In Kdenlive it seems x.6890 and x.6912 interferes with Dbus-daemon which handle
the data flow to the screen. Dbus-daemon is not maintained from Kdenlive. Or
you can wait on an updated Intel driver.

[krita] [Bug 409193] Wishlist: Export Canvas Input Settings (or all settings)

2019-06-26 Thread jimbo
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=409193

(In reply to Boudewijn Rempt from comment #1)
> Canvas input settings: that's what the profiles are for. You can take one of
> the existing profiles, duplicate it and change it. It will end up in the

>
> To clone all settings to a new computer, copy the kritarc file and the

> https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#resetting-krita-configuration and
> https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#where-are-my-resources-stored

Thanks for the explanation but I think this is a good reason for including the
export button. As an end user I have no idea there is a connection between
profiles and the resources folder. I could see the profiles but I couldn't
export them from within Krita.

I'm happy to try out the kritarc and resource folder method but in the document
you have linked there isn't any description about these being used to backup
Krita's settings, instead the description talks about how to 'reset' Krita.

Just to talk it out, how many different things do you need to backup Krita's
all of settings? As far as I'm aware now, there's the Keyboard shortcuts, Brush
bundle, kritarc and resource folder. That's quite a few things, when you say
'all settings' does the resource folder include keyboard shortcuts and custom
brushes? I'm just not sure as to what is in that folder.

A 'one shot' button for exporting all of Krita's settings would allow basic
users to backup their settings without having to go to the appdata folder. It
could even give you the option of what exactly you want to backup.

Bug ID: 409228
Summary: default keyring not unlocking with login
   Product: kwalletmanager
   Version: 18.04
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR

setting default keyring password

SUMMARY
a couple visual studio code extensions require the install of gnome-keyring.
when you set it up the first time it asks if you want to remember your password
to unlock in the future. even if you select yes it will not remember and then
you have to unlock the default keyring manually every time.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. install live share extension on vscode
2. setup password for default keyring and save password
3. restart. if it remembers it may take a few restarts or when vscode goes
through an update.

OBSERVED RESULT
asks for password every time

EXPECTED RESULT
unlock on login.

2019-06-26 Thread Alex

As you can see in the two screenshots, the plasma audio volume applet lets me
see the input and output devices available, but does not let me choose the
`port` as pavucontrol-qt does.

For the laptop I am using, I have one audio device (built in to the
motherboard). But it has multiple inputs, line in or the built in microphone.
This is similar for the output.

In the plasma audio volume applet, I cannot select between these, and there is
no clear indication of where to go to change between the `ports` of my built in
devices

Would require a major rewrite. Neither the display, nor the internal number
class supports fractions. Additionally, what should be displayed, if you divide
pi by 12, and you want a fractional result? There are ways to create
approximate fractions (e.g. using "continued fractions"), but that would give a
false impression that your result is actually representable by a fraction.

[kmail2] [Bug 409224] New: kmail not able to refresh email list: Unable to append status flags

2019-06-26 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=409224

Bug ID: 409224
Summary: kmail not able to refresh email list: Unable to append
status flags
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.11.2
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: pio...@piorekf.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
For two days I have not launched kmail on my main computer running KMail 5.11.2
however meanwhile I've been using my company laptop with some old KMail
version. Both computers have the same account configured over IMAP.
When I started KMail today on my main machine it can't refresh email list. I
can't see new email and still see older mails in state unread when I have
actually already read them on the second machine.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. launch kmail
2. click "Check Mail" button

OBSERVED RESULT
1. mail list is not refreshed
2. in the status bars in the bottom right corner error "Unable to append status
flags" can be seen

EXPECTED RESULT
New mail arrive and old change status

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Gentoo
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.59.0
Qt Version: Qt 5.12.3 (built against 5.12.3)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
In .local/share/akonadi/akonadiserver.error I can see error messages like this:

When I looked with akonadiconsole indeed there was no item with ID 73282 in
pimitemtable.

Where does it takes this ID from then?
How can I fix this so thath my KMail starts working again?

Not really our bug, the font is not provided by the pdf so we have to guess,
you need to configure your system so that the guessing works.

Anyhow even if this was a bug because you said "it should guess better", the
guessing is done by poppler, so also not our bug.

I threw my wishlist votes at it - not sure if that's even a thing anymore - but

[kdevelop] [Bug 409222] New: kdev_format_source returns "error: no commands applicable to" for any pattern

2019-06-26 Thread Eugene Shalygin
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=409222

Bug ID: 409222
Summary: kdev_format_source returns "error: no commands
applicable to" for any pattern
   Product: kdevelop
   Version: git master
  Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdevelop-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: eugene.shalygin+bugzilla@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

With any pattern, including the simple '*', kdev_format_source rejects input
files if the 'format_sources' file is not located in the same directory as the
target file. This starts to happen with Qt 5.12.4. Probably its wildcard to
regexp conversion became more strict, but it does not know about '**'.

Replacing the QDir::match() call with fnmatch() fixes the issue.

Would you consider adding this functionality to the backend languages for which
this computation seems rather simple? Thinking about

I found that the current krita icon misbehaves (is choppy on the edges) on the

Summary: Scale Image to new size does not take into account
transform masks
   Product: krita
Version: nightly build (please specify the git hash!)
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Resize/Scale Image/Layer
  Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: dieter.de.moi...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
When scaling an image to a new size, all layers are scaled, but relative
positions change if layers have a transform mask.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a new image of 1000x1000 pixels
2. Draw a cirkel in the top left corner
3. Add a transform mask to this layer
4. Use the transform or the move tool to move this circle to the center of the
image
5. Go to Image > Scale Image to New Size and resize the image to 500x500 pixels

OBSERVED RESULT
The circle is now at the bottom right corner

EXPECTED RESULT
The circle to be at the center of the image

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
I am using krita-4.2.1-7c743d9-x86_64.appimage on a Fedora 30 system.

kmymoney (5.0.4) using Qt 5.9.7

- Unusual behavior I noticed:

After Systemupgrade from Leap 15 to Leap 15.1 several KDE apps segfaulting

Currently I'm not able to figure out if it is a OpenSUSE problem, a KDE
problem, a Qt problem or an Upgrade problem at my PC.

Any hint is appreciated.
