Make sure your windows is up to date: there has been an update of windows that
broke Qt's hidpi support.

If your windows is completely up to date, go to the settings app, the display
page and set scaling to 100%; then open krita, go to Krita's settings dialog
and disable HiDPI support in Krita. You can then set the Windows display
scaling back to whatever it was.

Make sure you have:

* installed the explorer extension for kra files
* checked "use native file dialogs" in Krita's settings.

The development platform we use provides two file dialog implementations, a
native one that reuses the windows dialog and a fallback. Neither is coded by
us, so this cannot be a bug in Krita.

[umbrello] [Bug 410218] New: Wrong display of exceptions in activity diagrams Default setting for Association lines unequal to "Polyline

2019-07-25 Thread Ralf Habacker
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=410218

Bug ID: 410218
Summary: Wrong display of exceptions in activity diagrams

"Polyline
   Product: umbrello
   Version: 2.28.3 (KDE Applications 19.04.3)
  Platform: Other
OS: All
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general

Created attachment 121735

screenshot

Exceptions are displayed as on
http://www.c-jump.com/CIT73/Week05/W05_0160_uml.htm_0160_uml.htm.

This does not work if the default layout setting for new relationship lines is
not equal to "Polyline".

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start umbrello
2. open settings
3. on the main page set default value for "create new association lines as" to
a value unequal to "Polyline"
4. Add an activity diagram
5. add two activities
6. connect them with an exception

OBSERVED RESULT
The association line does not look like an exception

EXPECTED RESULT
The association line should indicate an exception

[digikam] [Bug 408880] bezier Curve error

Maik Qualmann changed:

It is not perfect yet, it is possible that the curve does not pass through the
control point. There are different strategies so that the curve also traverses
all control points. In newer Gimp versions, the curve is stretched, but then
leads to a toothed curve. Darktable and Krita lift the curve. But even with
Dartable I can still set control points that are not traversed, also not
perfect. We will revise the function in the near future, it will not affect the
result.

[krita] [Bug 410215] New: reverse arrow keys save screen plus no preview

2019-07-25 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=410215

Bug ID: 410215
Summary: reverse arrow keys save screen plus no preview
   Product: krita
   Version: 4.2.3
  Platform: MS Windows
OS: MS Windows
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Tile manager
  Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: dragonnetst...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
arrow keys in name textbox of the save screen are reversed. Plus the Krita own
save window has no previews of artwork in that folder. (Old windows own
filebrowser window did)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open any file
2. click save or save as
3. click with the cursor on the name to save as
4. move with the arrow keys forth and back
5. in this whole process icons show up of files, but not actual previews of
known image files like .jpg and .png

OBSERVED RESULT
arrows move the text cursor in opposite direction as directed within the
highlighted name box
and in this window no preview of artwork shows, only icons of said artwork and
file name

EXPECTED RESULT
arrows to move in desired direction as put in on keyboard
in this same explorer window to see artwork preview images on the files to
distinguish better (as was used in krita 4.1.7)

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10, latest build
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Updated to last known version of XP-Pen prior to opening Krita 4.2.3. This
update caused no hiccups, but it's the only thing that could've stood out. I
did not restart computer.

Thanks for the answer,
It's a workaround that solves the "Built In Function" context color, but it
"maybe" still has secondary effects on the color scheme.

[plasmashell] [Bug 410211] plasmashell segmentation fault when Plasma on X autologin froze on the splash screen in Fedora Rawhide

David, I was going to log in to Plasma on Wayland from sddm as I usually do,
but the Fedora live image is set to autologin to Plasma on X. I had stopped
sddm, Plasma, and X before I ran startplasmacompositor. I restarted sddm so
that the X amdgpu driver would be used instead of the X modesetting driver
since the system has a Radeon R5 GPU.

I think that the plasmashell crash was more likely to have happened when the
autologin to Plasma on X got stuck on the splash screen and I stopped sddm than
when I ran startplasmacompositor. The trace of the segmentation fault doesn't
appear to have any Wayland-specific functions. The Wayland session appear
normally. I just didn't see drkonqi until the Wayland session started..
plasmashell and drkonqi aborted after I stopped sddm and before I ran
startplasmacompositor the next time I tried to reproduce the crash. The Plasma
on X autologin splash screen freeze has happened several times after restarting
sddm with two Fedora rawhide live images. The circle stopped spinning after a
few seconds, and the desktop didn't appear. I'm sorry about the mixup. Thanks.

2019-07-25 Thread Francis Herne
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=410213

Thank you for reporting this issue.

This is because the configurable editor colours (part of KTextEditor, shared
with KWrite and Kate) are overridden in many places in KDevelop by semantic
highlighting which uses its own hardcoded colour set.

You can adjust the intensity/saturation of the semantic highlighting colours by
adjusting the sliders in `Configure KDevelop -> Language Support`. If these are
set to 0, the semantic highlighting will have no effect and the (configurable)
basic editor colours should be used.

Merged with the existing report.

Please can you run QSG_INFO=1 plasmashell and paste the output.

Please move your ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc and see if
that makes a difference.

Finally can you run kcmshell5 qtquicksettings and select the software renderer
and see if that makes a difference.

Since this was filed under sddm-kcm (with is the Login Screen module), can you
clarify if you actually encountered the issue there or in User Accounts?

Moving it to user-manager for now since it seems to me that's what was aimed

On Fedora 30 Plasma 5.15.5. I have 2 monitors (both DisplayPort, main
horizontal, extra vertical) and 1 TV (HDMI) plugged in. The TV is usually off.

Almost every single time I return after a while and wake the screens up, the
panel on the vertical screen will disappear. The main panel remains but either
shows nothing in the task manager or all windows from both monitors get stuffed
onto the main display causing the main task manager to list all windows.

This has been happening for a while with Nvidia and even now with AMD it still
happens exactly as it did before. Something about the monitors ever turning off
just throws the whole desktop into a confused state.

Tested this again today. To me it happens using 'Move here' as you did. But
today I have noticed that it happens only on certain folders.

To give you a context:
If I connect to the server (a cluster) via ssh I use the address myaddress.com,
when I need to transfer files via sftp I need to use the address
transfer.myaddress.com.

When I move file in my home (and subdirectories) no problems appear. When I
move file in another folder called /work1 the files gets converted to links
after moving.

The folder /work1 is likely a network drive mounted on the remote server,
indeed `mount` returns this entry:

beegfs_nodev on /work1 type beegfs
(rw,_netdev,cfgFile=/etc/beegfs/beegfs-client2.conf,)

How can I provide more useful debug information?

Git commit f15e8568a5330b6795b1dd5287a6a1530dc60476 by Simone Gaiarin.
Committed on 25/07/2019 at 18:09.
Pushed by gaiarin into branch 'master'.

General improvements to stamp annotation

Summary:
Configuration:
- Add push button to select custom stamp image
- Check if loaded image is usable as stamp or throw error
- Keep image proportions in previewer
- Move previewer below the combobox to display larger preview

Annotation tool:
- Keep stamp image proportion in annotation preview (while left mouse button is
down)
- Adding the annotation with one-click (without holding the left mouse button
and dragging) adds the stamp with original proportions
Related: bug 370381, bug 383651
FIXED-IN: 1.9.0

Closes T8074

TODO:
- [ ] Check if filters in file chooser make sense / propose better alternative
- [x] Update doc ( @yurchor will do it after we merge this)

Test Plan:
>From stamp annotation configuration dialog:
- Show a warning regarding limitations of the feature's current implementation
- Click push button next to combo box opens a file selector
- Selecting a corrupted image file should throw an error
- Selecting a good image file shows the preview of the image
- Select a horizontal image shows a large clear preview
- Select a vertical image file shows a smaller preview without messing up the
visual of the config dialog
- Input a valid icon name in the combobox and the preview of the icon is shown

>From page view, select the stamp annotation with horizontal image file (not
>squared):
- Click and hold. The preview maintains proportions
- Single click. The stamp image in the pdf maintains proportions and has the
same size of the click and hold preview.
- Add an annotation of the Okular custom stamps (internal SVG so treated
slightly differently) do not create problems

[valgrind] [Bug 274189] mremap hidden linux feature not implemented

2019-07-25 Thread Eric Hoffman
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=274189

It's simply not implemented...

Line 312 in coregrind/m_syswrap/syswrap-generic.c

/* kernel doesn't reject this, but we do. */
   if (old_len == 0)
  goto eINVAL;

This behavior had been added to Linux man pages in Sept 2017

https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/docs/man-pages/man-pages.git/commit/man2/mremap.2?id=aa002e8145e643dd7f3a6a1cbe20d5291738438a

I encountered something similar once. It was due to pulseaudio's
switch-on-port-available module trying to mute the volumes.

If this is the same thing, can you say if commenting out the "load-module
module-switch-on-port-available" line in /etc/pulse/default.pa fixes this for
you?

Im not sure what the name of the tablet is but i know it is an old flat bamboo
tablet with the black buttons. The computer is old too so maybe one of the
solutions you suggested will work
