That's an upstream bug in hosted Exchange environments. You might want to open
a support ticket with your e-mail service provider. Sometimes, their IMAP
server implementation gets confused by our use of IMAP command pipelining, and
returns back garbage consisting of a mixture of actual responses and the
client's commands.

There isn't much that we could do except for disabling pipelining altogether,
and I do not think we should do that. In IMAP, pipelining has been around for
ages (it's been always an async protocol), so this is clearly a server bug that
should be fixed server-side.

If it is not a 'temporary' issue; that is Dolphin still shows the wrong tags
even if you log out and back in, then maybe rebuilding the baloo index would
help.

Try:
   baloo purge; baloo monitor

The 'monitor' will show a stream of output showing each file as it is indexed.

[systemsettings] [Bug 417771] New: No way to configure primary button slider wrap in GTK applications

2020-02-16 Thread TYY331
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=417771

Bug ID: 417771
Summary: No way to configure primary button slider wrap in GTK
applications
   Product: systemsettings
   Version: 5.18.0
  Platform: Manjaro
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: kcm_style
  Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: sebastian.p...@gmail.com
CC: zom...@protonmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
There is no way to enable the gtk-primary-button-warps-slider configuration
option for both GTK2 and GTK3 applications, this leads to inconsistent behavior
in QT and GTK applications, in Plasma version 5.17 and prior you can set this
setting, now with the recent changes introduced in Plasma 5.18 the option is
missing.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open System Settings
2. Go to Application Style
3. Try to configure how sliders work for both GTK2 and GTK3 application

OBSERVED RESULT
Missing configuration option

EXPECTED RESULT
gtk-primary-button-warps-slider should be configurable or at least inherit the
current style's option (as with the theme)

Soon after 5.18 was released I did an upgrade to check if it was already

boot I checked and System Information said I didn't have 5.18 yet. So I waited
a couple of hours and checked for updates, and indeed a bunch of 5.18 stuff was
available, so I updated and rebooted. After checking again, System Information
still thinks I have Plasma 5.17.2, but 'plasmashell --version' shows 5.18.0

Bug ID: 417767
Summary: Hover on wine program system tray not responding

Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal

 Component: XembedSNIProxy
  Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org

  Target Milestone: 1.0

Hello everyone,

Sorry for my poor English first, I'm using plasma desktop 5.18.0-3 on
Archlinux.
I tried to run windows program with wine-staging 5.2-1, everything works fine
except the system tray.

When I putting my mouse hover on the system tray icon, nothing responds. A
floating window is supposed to show up.
Killed xembedsniproxy using Wine System Tray it works fine.

For example, Wechat(IM, Tencent Holdings Ltd., https://www.wechat.com/en/)

*** Section I
[img1]

No message, hover on the icon, text `Wechat`

*** Section II
[img3]

The most important, when having new messages, the notification window(dialog
preview) couldn't show up.

This also happened on QQ and TIM(IM, Simplified Chinese Only, Tencent Holdings
Ltd.)
I've no idea about whether other programs have such problem.

[plasmashell] [Bug 417766] New: PulseAudio shows all programs as either krunner or yakuake

2020-02-16 Thread David Korth
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=417766

Bug ID: 417766
Summary: PulseAudio shows all programs as either krunner or

   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.18.0
  Platform: Gentoo Packages

Status: REPORTED

  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk
  Reporter: gerbils...@gerbilsoft.com

A while back, I started noticing that any program started from yakuake that
plays audio was showing up as "yakuake" in Pulseaudio monitoring programs, e.g.
pavucontrol and kmix. This didn't affect programs started from the desktop or
krunner.

Since upgrading to Plasma 5.18.0, all programs on my system started using any
method show up as either krunner or yakuake. I'm not entirely sure where to
begin debugging this.

[plasmashell] [Bug 415130] Lock and login screens: entering incorrect password or moving focus away breaks using return/enter key to submit password

2020-02-16 Thread Harald Sitter
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=415130

Something in qtvirtualkeyboard meddles with the active focus, quite possibly
via a timer, that's just a guess though because I saw some timers causing
QQuickWindowPrivate::setFocusInScope calls.

> sudo rm
> /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/plugins/platforminputcontexts/libqtvirtualkeyboardplugin.so

temporarily bricks QVKB and in turn unbreaks the focus management. So, the
culprit is definitely there, question is just where exactly. There seems to be
a whole bunch of indiscriminate focus and keyboard hijacking going on inside
platforminputcontext.cpp at least.

Lastly, seeing as all reports continue to be neon-derived one has to wonder if
a patch is the cause or if other distributions just don't package QVKB plugins
to the extend we'd need for a working integration. At a glance I didn't find a
patch causing it in QVKB at least, still could be anywhere else between there,
qquick,declarative,gui and core though :S
It'd be good if someone could actually verify if QVKB on other distros works to
the expected extended and if that still has working focus management. If that
is the case then it almost must be a patch that's the root cause.

[systemsettings] [Bug 417763] New: Removing an entry from exluded folder will also rewrite "folders" entry in baloofilerc

2020-02-16 Thread Christoph Vogtländer
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=417763

Bug ID: 417763
Summary: Removing an entry from exluded folder will also
rewrite "folders" entry in baloofilerc
   Product: systemsettings
   Version: 5.18.0
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: kcm_baloo
  Assignee: baloo-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: k...@mockies.de
CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
removing and entry from the exclude folder using systemsettings, will not just
remove the entry from "exclude folders[$e]" but also resets "folders[$e]" to
"$HOME". Any custom set folders are removed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. add a custom entry in baloofilerc "folders[$e]=$HOME,/home/share/
1. remove an entry from the excluded folder list

OBSERVED RESULT
folders[$e] will be reset to "$HOME":
folders[$e]=$HOME

EXPECTED RESULT
The entry should be left as is. AFAIK, the GUI does not allow customisation of
"folders[$e]"

[systemsettings] [Bug 417762] New: Setting exclude folders under HOME do not work

2020-02-16 Thread Christoph Vogtländer
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=417762

Bug ID: 417762

 Component: kcm_baloo
  Assignee: baloo-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: k...@mockies.de
CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Setting exclude folders does not work because "$HOME" already contains a
trailing slash, resulting in double slashes. Files in excluded folders will be
indexed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. add a folder to exclude list via systemsettings, e.g. "tmp"

OBSERVED RESULT
Entry in baloofilerc "exclude folders[$e]=$HOME/tmp/" is created. "balooctl
config show excludeFolders" will show that this is evaluated to

/home/user//tmp/

(note the double "/" after HOME)
This is because "$HOME" already contains a trailing slash

Baloo will index files in ~/tmp

Manually changing the option in baloofilerc to "exclude
folders[$e]=${HOME}tmp/" works as expected.

EXPECTED RESULT
Baloo should not index files in ~/tmp, the entry should be

[kcms/feedback] Improve default kcmshell window size

Summary:
FIXED-IN: 5.18.1

Test Plan:
Better default size when showing the most info: {F8107763}

However window is too now big when showing the least amount of info: {F8107762}

...But that seems kind of unavoidable unless we want to dynamically resize the
window,
which people seem to hate.

Reverting seems out of scope, but "freezing" the image could be accomplished by
being able to save the image locally and manually set it as your wallpaper.
Which is a bit clunky, but seems like it would be generically useful. Let's use
this bug report to track that.

to fix Bug 381551.

This clock sizing code is so fragile. :/

Still does not work for me with kaccounts-provider 19.12.2 on Arch (that
includes additional patch to fix Google sing in).

The message I get after entering email into sign in form is:

This browser or app may not be secure.
Try using a different browser. If you’re already using a supported browser, you
can refresh your screen and try again to sign in.
