[kstars] [Bug 398192] In Ekos, stopping INDI immediately after disconnecting devices hangs KStars
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398192 mountainai...@outlook.com changed: What|Removed |Added Ever confirmed|0 |1 Status|REPORTED|CONFIRMED --- Comment #2 from mountainai...@outlook.com --- This still happens in KStars 3.4.0, and on the Mac as well. If you wait (sometimes 20-30 seconds after the last log file entry), then you can stop Indi Server. If you don't wait long enough (and it varies substantially), the application will hang with a spinning beachball cursor and you ultimately need to Force Quit it. Because of how many difficulties I have with Indi, this often results in 2-3 crashes per night. Unfortunately it is not rare; it literally happens to me every observing session at least once. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Breeze] [Bug 417969] New: Inability to deterministically choose when an icon should be monochrome and when it should be colorful
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=417969 Bug ID: 417969 Summary: Inability to deterministically choose when an icon should be monochrome and when it should be colorful Product: Breeze Version: 5.18.1 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Icons Assignee: visual-des...@kde.org Reporter: n...@kde.org CC: kain...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Breeze icons currently come in two styles: monochrome and colorful. Generally, the monochrome style is used for small icons: 16px, 22px, and 24px (for compatibility with GTK which uses the 24px size). Colorful icons are generally 32px or larger. This leads to a general rule: use monochrome for small icons, and color for large icons. This works fine for icons all of whose sizes are in one style or the other. It stops working so well for icons that have multiple sizes, with small monochrome versions and larger colorful versions, because some of the time we want to use colorful icons for small sizes and some of the time we want to use monochrome icons for large sizes. For example, we want an app's icon to be colorful for the small 16px version shown in the titlebar, but monochrome if it happens to have a system tray icon (e.g. Plasma Vault). And we want toolbar icons to continue to use the monochrome style at 32px and larger sizes even if they happen to have colorful versions. Right now we don't really have a way to do this within the confines of a single icon theme. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kstars] [Bug 417968] New: Critical Break: Guiding via MOUNT Unavailable.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=417968 Bug ID: 417968 Summary: Critical Break: Guiding via MOUNT Unavailable. Product: kstars Version: 3.4.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: mutla...@ikarustech.com Reporter: mountainai...@outlook.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Cannot choose Celestron CGX mount as a guiding option. Ekos only lists the guide camera (ASI174mm) itself, but I am not using the ST4 guide port. The previous version of KStars/Ekos that I used, 3.2.6, automatically chose Celestron CGX for the "Guide Via" setting and I never had any issues with it. This happens in both Ekos Linux and Ekos Mac. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Connect to a profile using Celestron CGX mount and ASI174MM guide cam using an OAG. 2. Go to the Guide tab. 3. Attempt to change the "Via" dropdown to Celestron CGX. Option is not available. 4. Note that mount can be controlled via KStars as usual. OBSERVED RESULT Celestron CGX is not available as a Guide Via option, despite Indi reporting drivers for both Celestron CGX and ASI174MM loaded fine. Mount control works as normal, you just can't guide with it. EXPECTED RESULT We should be able to guide via the mount. This breaks my imaging rig. I can try ST4, but that is a sub-optimal workaround for something that worked fine a few days ago. In Batch Queue Manager - ability to display preview image Product: digikam Version: 7.0.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: BatchQueueManager-Workflow Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: nigel.a...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- I'm very new to digiKam. The problem I am having is that when I'm setting up the filters in batch manger I have no clue as to how the final result will look without having to run the manager and produce a new image. There is probably not enough screen real estate to do this in current window, but if a "Preview" button was added and the image displayed in a separate window (Before / After toggle), that would help cut down on the in and out of Batch Manager, find photograph, view it . Fewer the mouse clicks better the work flow! You think is a problem in the code I made (like in the sequence order or is it lacking some other command then) or is it really in the paste command then? I tryed to look up as much info as I could on the topic but I can't say for certain, but my feeling is that it's on the command itself somewhere. I compared the C++ file and the Python one, and the python one looked to lack some cases inside (but I dont read C++ to know better). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
