SUMMARY
Changing from one colour scheme to another in system settings doesn't fully
update colours in native applications until I've logged out and in again or
restarted the system. Editing a colour scheme produces the same result.
Sometimes switching to another colour scheme then back to the desired one can
help, but results are inconsistent.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select colour scheme. Hit apply.
2. Observe that some but not all colours have changed in native applications.
3. Switch to another colour scheme. Same result.
4. Restart system. Colour scheme is now accurate.

OBSERVED RESULT
Colour schemes only update partially when settings are applied. (progress bars
especially are a problem)

EXPECTED RESULT
Colour schemes should be updated immediately & completely to the selected
scheme.

Oof, it's my company's machine that has this problem and my state is currently
in quarantine so I'm working from home, so it will take a few weeks before I
have access to that machine again.

However, it's true I couldn't reproduce this on a Kubuntu 20.04 VM today,
before and after updates. I'll test it on a KDE neon VM since Petro had the
same issue.

Actually, looks like the code references headers in both upper and lower case
folder and same issue happens for SonnetCore/Sonnet and KIOWidgets/KIO, so I
doubt this is a mistake and it definitely goes beyond my basic cmake knowledge.

Either way, I was able to workaround by symlinking KIOWidgets/KIO,
SonnetUi/Sonnet and SonnetCore/Sonnet to their lowercase folder names and it
worked.

Fixed some of the most significant lies from my first patch.  No longer assumes
.text is the first section.  Instead of "main.exe" uses the basename of the
executable as the soname (I don't know whether this is even correct).  Uses
correct-looking arenas for allocations.  Correctly sorts symbols in descending
order and corrects addSym calls.

If you attach a second monitor (it dont happen if computer is booted with the

3. You see dashboard in the wrong monitor

OBSERVED RESULT
I have to close session or restart plasma to get dashboard in the correct
monitor.

Please try Krita 4.2.9 beta version:
https://krita.org/en/item/krita-4-2-9-beta-released/ (it's beta, but tested for
two weeks already and seems to be really stable,, more stable than previous
release). Krita 3.1.3 is very old and Krita overall changed so much that trying
to fix any issue to 3.1.3 is not a good idea. This crash is probably long gone
:)

There's really poor quality of the pen stroke using Lubuntu 19.10 and using a
Parblo A609 Pen Tablet.
Any random stroke suddenly isn't clean but can end up having a random stroke
attack and create a really poor line.

The program keeps crashing

Obviously, I don't want my program to crash so I can draw.

Condition for checking is the color space is HDR:

bool isHDR =

Kdenlive 19.12.3-appimage on UbuntuStudio 19. Еhe same problem still happens.
Constantly, in each project I shift the track with the music exactly 8 frames
to the right, then on the rendered video the synchronization becomes good.
Usually this desync is not noticeable until it comes to the end credits, where
they should go rhythmically with the music.

Okay, I see several (possible) problems:

1) We share "last used" PNG settings with the ones the user used for saving
normal images. The code is in
DlgAnimationRenderer::sequenceMimeTypeOptionsClicked(). I don't know how good
or bad it is from UIX point of view. Theoretically, it should be okay, but I'm
not sure.

2) The main problem is that to enable HDR we should tick two checkboxes in
different dialogs: in PNG export settings and in video settings. Ideally, there
should be only one checkbox for it, but it clashes with point 1) :)

Videos showing using Lokalize to translate (shown) nano-4.9-pre.hr.po from
en_US to hr_HR, and trying to us file nano-4.9-pre1.fr.po as alternative
translations to compare with.

1`. Video IMG_0073.MOV showing dragging with mouse nano-4.9-pre1.fr.po over big
top right panes (original text (msgid) in upper, and translated text (msgstr)
in lower pane). Every time mouser pointer dragging file cross or hover over
these two panes, Lokalize crashes.
2. Video IMG_0074.MOV shows that if file is dragged directly (not crossing or
hover above two big top right panes) into 'Alternate Translation' pane,

In fact, this report is bout two different crashes.

The second one on all platforms can be fixed by the merge request.

https://invent.kde.org/kde/elisa/-/merge_requests/110 is a candidate fix for
this bug.

Please avoid reporting two different issues in the same bug as it makes it

Antoine - if you save the file again with the 5.0.1 version, and then reopen

It might be interesting to compare those two files.  Perhaps there is something
odd in the SCHEDULED_TX record that the appimage fixes when saving. 
Unfortunately, that won't help figuring out how the problem was introduced in
the first place.

Antoine - can you do 'grep -A8 "SCHEDULED_TX " file.xml' for the file that
shows the problem and the new one that does not?  You will get one section for
each scheduled transaction, but you should be able to fairly easily identify
the one of interest.  You can then compare the two versions to see if you can
identify any difference.

That's very strange.  With my current version recently compiled from git 5.0
head, I do not need to explicitly add the ".anon.xml" to the file name for it
to save a correctly named anon file.  I don't recall, but is this something
that has been changed since 5.0.1?

I created a PPA that has the patch in post #50 applied to the current Kubuntu
18.04 solid package. See:

SUMMARY

Since a few weeks, kmail has stopped to display special characters correctly in
 incoming emails sent via Exchange servers. This happens independently of the
specific choices under "View/Set encoding". "Auto" should do the job, but
fails. Any argument that the incoming email probably has a wrong encoding in
its header is NOT applicable: 
1) any other email client can handle the same emails correctly without any
fiddling;
2) most important and annoying: it worked perfectly until January/February 2020
or so - but then the updates started to be buggy!

Interestingly, the encoding becomes correct when forwarding/replying to the
email.

This is bug should definitely not occur in modern email client in 2020.

Please amend - otherwise kmail is definitely no longer usable! 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Get an email from an Exchange account 
2. View text.
3. See wrong encoding.

OBSERVED RESULT

Wrong umlauts/special characters in German. 

EXPECTED RESULT

Correct encoding - as accomplished by any modern email client.

SUMMARY

I have a task manager applet sitting directly on the desktop, and I would
sometimes like to access it via the "show desktop" action on an active screen
edge. If clicked during "show desktop", it fails to activate and bring to
foreground the clicked window.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Put task manager on desktop
2. Trigger "Show desktop" (e.g. via hotkey or screen edge)
3. click inactive window in task manager

OBSERVED RESULT
"Show desktop" mode is exited, but clicked window is not active

EXPECTED RESULT
"Show desktop" mode is exited, and the clicked window is active and in the
foreground
