This has never worked…

A quick workaround: select the desired server also on the _import_ tab, as that
is what is actually passed down to the export function.

This is on Windows :)

I think the problem is that on windows we bundle only the breeze icon-set and
not the breeze-dark icons... And I'm not totally sure how the color scheme
changing effects the icon theme...

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402789

I hear you, Claudius. I don't like mailing lists either, and I agree that
Bugzilla is clunky and antiquated. I'm very much in favor of migrating
everything to GitLab issues. However our sysadmins are already at 100% capacity
with migrating to the GitLab CI, and then after that, migrating Phabricator
Tasks to GitLab. Only after those are done can we begin the move from Bugzilla
to GitLab Issues.

The best way to make that happen faster would be to volunteer to help the
sysadmin team with the technical work required, if you have any kind of
sysadmin or devops background.

[systemsettings] [Bug 422784] Use a "better" default value for scroll speed

In general we try not to override upstream defaults, but in this case there are
no upstream defaults! So it's a reasonable request.

Personally I think it's premature to change the default since there is no
particularly unified scroll speed across apps. Increasing the scroll speed
globally to make one app's scrolling feel better will very likely make another
app's scroll speed feel absurdly fast (and vice versa). For example scrolling
in Firefox with MOX_USE_XINPUT2=1 set to make touchpad scrolling work is super
fast and needs to be slower, not faster. Increasing the default would worsen
this.

-1 for now, sorry.

This is probably not Kamoso's fault, but I thought I'd start here as I'm
unfamiliar with the whole video stack.

The video from my laptop's camera is laggy in Kamoso (from git master). But
when using BigBlueButton, the video is much smoother and there is no
appreciable lag.

Happy to debug and provide logs however I can.

[elisa] [Bug 421662] Elisa does not release PowerManagement inhibitions on exit if it's playing when exited

2020-06-10 Thread Gabriel Marcano
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421662

Interesting. Looks like a race condition.

Here's a quick screen capture I did with OBS (so it's also inhibiting):
https://i.imgur.com/wtmo7pC.mp4

Let me know if you can't access that video for some reason.

In short, I show two terminals, with me launching the compiled elisa, and the
other one showing the output of me querying powerdevil for active inhibitions
using watch with a 1 second interval.

Elisa began playing back something from the beginning, which I paused after I
saw the elisa inhibition show up (about 5 seconds AFTER playing begun). Pausing
it caused it to be dropped fairly quickly. Pressing play again, I waited
another 5 seconds until the inhibition came up again. I then paused the player
again, and saw the inhibition disappear again. For the final test, I clicked
play and quickly pressed X to exit the application, before the elisa inhibitor
showed up. Like clockwork, it showed up 5 seconds after I pressed play, even
though the player had already exited.

Nah, that's not correct. Re-opening since it's still sometimes relevant.
