https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402789 --- Comment #13 from Nate Graham --- I hear you, Claudius. I don't like mailing lists either, and I agree that Bugzilla is clunky and antiquated. I'm very much in favor of migrating everything to GitLab issues. However our sysadmins are already at 100% capacity with migrating to the GitLab CI, and then after that, migrating Phabricator Tasks to GitLab. Only after those are done can we begin the move from Bugzilla to GitLab Issues. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422784 Nate Graham changed: What|Removed |Added CC||n...@kde.org --- Comment #1 from Nate Graham --- In general we try not to override upstream defaults, but in this case there are no upstream defaults! So it's a reasonable request. Personally I think it's premature to change the default since there is no particularly unified scroll speed across apps. Increasing the scroll speed globally to make one app's scrolling feel better will very likely make another app's scroll speed feel absurdly fast (and vice versa). For example scrolling in Firefox with MOX_USE_XINPUT2=1 set to make touchpad scrolling work is super fast and needs to be slower, not faster. [elisa] [Bug 421662] Elisa does not release PowerManagement inhibitions on exit if it's playing when exited
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421662 --- Comment #5 from Gabriel Marcano --- Interesting. Looks like a race condition. Here's a quick screen capture I did with OBS (so it's also inhibiting): https://i.imgur.com/wtmo7pC.mp4 Let me know if you can't access that video for some reason. In short, I show two terminals, with me launching the compiled elisa, and the other one showing the output of me querying powerdevil for active inhibitions using watch with a 1 second interval. Elisa began playing back something from the beginning, which I paused after I saw the elisa inhibition show up (about 5 seconds AFTER playing begun). Pausing it caused it to be dropped fairly quickly. Pressing play again, I waited another 5 seconds until the inhibition came up again. I then paused the player again, and saw the inhibition disappear again. For the final test, I clicked play and quickly pressed X to exit the application, before the elisa inhibitor showed up. Like clockwork, it showed up 5 seconds after I pressed play, even though the player had already exited. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
