After setting the background color, okularpartrc contains a block like this: [Document] ChangeColors=true PaperColor=202,254,78 RenderMode=Paper With background color set, trim margins is still working. Running 'strings -a' on /boot/efi/EFI/BOOT/BOOTX64.EFI confirms that this string is hardcoded into the executable. Likewise, for /boot/efi/EFI/neon/grubx64.efi. Both are copies of /usr/lib/grub/x86_64-efi-signed/grubx64.efi.signed from the grub-efi-amd64-signed package. The /EFI/ubuntu directory does not exist, instead replaced by /EFI/neon. Re-running 'grub-install' did not fix the problem. At the GRUB command line, the following effected the boot: set prefix=($root)'/EFI/neon' configfile $prefix/grub.cfg I have implemented a workaround by creating /boot/efi/EFI/ubuntu/ and copying over grub.cfg and grubx64.efi from /boot/efi/EFI/neon/. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[frameworks-kirigami] [Bug 427612] New: Sometimes all ShadowedRectangles in an area receive the same hovered state from a single control
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=427612 Bug ID: 427612 Summary: Sometimes all ShadowedRectangles in an area receive the same hovered state from a single control Product: frameworks-kirigami Version: Master Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: notm...@gmail.com Reporter: noaha...@gmail.com Target Milestone: Not decided Created attachment 132310 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=132310=edit All buttons get the hover outline SUMMARY When controls appear to be somehow grouped together, ShadowedRectangles that they are all using sometimes all receive the same data from only one of the controls. For instance, one button/switch/checkbox/radio button might become hovered, causing all buttons/switches/checkboxes/radio buttons to get the hover effect. See attached screenshot #1. I think this may be a ShadowedRectangle issue because this doesn't happen when I use a plain Qt Quick Rectangle instead. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=427500 --- Comment #2 from Primary --- Then either there is another issue with the error report or that is another issue with the nubie friendliness issue. In my experience so far I know and can just find enough information to get myself into real deep trouble(as opposed to shallow trouble). What I can tell about the problem is the issue only began after I experienced a crash that would allow a login but no access to the filesystem at all. I couldn't even get a terminal emulator(a black-screen-of-death). I couldn't even send a crash report at all. I reinstalled the entire OS, and the desktop gui would be generic place holders until after I clicked on them. No matter whatever policy I specify, the new window (in my case, konsole) is always placed at the same position, killing the meaning of "minimal overlapping" policy Strangely, with the same Archlinux setup on my laptop, even with extra display attached, the window placement policy seems work completely fine. The not yet updated packages in the laptop seems to be plasma-framwork 5.75.x related packages. The same qt5 and the same kwin is installed on both systems. So maybe it's a config related problem. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install the latest KDE5 from Arch repo 2. Make sure the "minimal overlap" window placement policy is already selected 3. Launch several konsole instances to test the policy OBSERVED RESULT All new konsole instances are placed beyond each other, definitely not following the window placement policy. [kwin] [Bug 426293] All my Qt clients die when I disconnect my display
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=426293 --- Comment #8 from Lewis Lakerink --- Just to double check, MR!98 is for a version of Qt (5.15.3) that isn't even on the Qt release schedule yet? I have the latest stable Qt release, QT 5.15.1 installed, and this patch is just a noop for that version. I tried changing the version check in your diff to 5.15.1, but kwin just crashes when removing a monitor. I'm super keen to try out this diff, and I'm happy to upgrade to an unstable Qt to do so if required, but wanted to check. Does that mean this bug could take a while to land a fix for since we'll be waiting for upstream Qt? https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=389568 --- Comment #26 from Nate Graham --- This is becoming possible. What's going on in this case is that the search results are returning only a category and no KCMs. And the category is disabled, as all categories in the search view are.
