[kwin] [Bug 433813] Ctrl-Tab behavior in Firefox and VS Code inconsistent with the behavior on other platforms
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=433813 --- Comment #7 from e.insafutdi...@gmail.com --- Thanks a lot for looking it! After you tried it, I realised that the problem is due to me using Caps Lock as Ctrl. When using the actual Ctrl key, I get the correct behavior: releasing the Ctrl key switches the tab as expected. Having said that, I remapped Caps Lock to Ctrl in the KDE System Settings app (see the attached screenshot). And I believe that the issue is that while Caps Lock acts as Ctrl when pressing the key, it doesn't do so when *releasing* the key, which is verified by the incorrect behavior in Firefox and VS Code applications that utilise releasing of Ctrl. I tried remapping Caps Lock to Ctrl with the command `setxkbmap -option ctrl:nocaps` and I get correct behavior when releasing the key. So I still believe it's a problem that needs to be addressed on the KDE side, in the System Settings for keyboard. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 433885] New: Segmentation fault at startup, persistent even after deleting configuration and reinstalling
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=433885 Bug ID: 433885 Summary: Segmentation fault at startup, persistent even after deleting configuration and reinstalling Product: kdenlive Version: 20.12.2 Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: grave Priority: NOR Component: Installation Assignee: vpi...@kde.org Reporter: 198...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Following the instructions in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=432016#c2 didn't help immediately, even with deleting additionally ~/.config/kdenlive-layoutsrc and ~/.config/kdenliverc, but when I reinstalled Kdenlive, it worked. Except (as previously) it showed very dark text on dark background, hardly readable. So I changed the theme and the result was even worse: no text appeared in the menus when I dropped them down. So I blindly clicked something in a subemnu of Setting, first time probably changing colours and next time hiding the menu bar. The alt key didn't activate the menu, so I decided to reinstall again. [...] This was the case with old Kickoff. That's not quite true: It's always found documents as well. A year or two ago we made it able to do unit conversion. You've also always been able to have it find contacts, bookmarks, etc. It wound up being 3/4 of KRunner, but a random, non-user-controllable subset of it. In Plasma 5.21, we decided to make it predictable by simply having it duplicate the full functionality, not a random subset of it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Just a cursory investigation reveals that geometry is manipulated in dozens of source files, although shell/shellcorona.h/cpp appears to be a key component. There are also quite a number of locations where geometry-changed signals are set up (connected) and/or activated. But I don;t have any kind of birds-eye view of how the whole thing works - thus the need for a developer who knows how all the pieces fit together. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[digikam] [Bug 195555] Add a new option to use a constant scrolling speed with Kenburns effect

Speed is calculated by time between two times of "swap image". By this moment, this time is same by all images. So the speed of motion is proportional with height of image. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429690 Daniel Tang changed: What|Removed |Added CC||danielzgtg.opensource@gmail ||.com --- Comment #2 from Daniel Tang --- SUMMARY I can't connect two Linux computers together. Both of the computers connect fine to my Android though. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open the device list 2. Click refresh OBSERVED RESULT The other computer doesn't show up in the list. Sometimes it appears for a split second then disappears. When running `kdeconnectd` from the command line, I get the following errors logged: ``` kdeconnect.core: Disconnecting due to fatal SSL Error: "The issuer certificate of a locally looked up certificate could not be found" kdeconnect.core: Disconnecting due to fatal SSL Error: "No certificates could be verified" ``` EXPECTED RESULT Each computer should show up and appear properly on the other computer. ANALYSIS If I patch the code to also ignore `QSslError::UnableToGetLocalIssuerCertificate` and `QSslError::UnableToVerifyFirstCertificate`, the computers pair and connect properly. However, they stop working after `kdeconnectd` is stopped and restarted on any of them. When clicking refresh a bunch of times during the initial pairing, I see a lot of messages about the key being different for the same device.
