When I added a startup application (actually a script) and checked the Terminal options Run in terminal Do not close when command exits my script runs, but I don't see any terminal nor does it stick around, maybe because something is ignoring TerminalOptions=\s--noclose in the generated .desktop file. As a workaround my script writes debug messages to /tmp/myscript.$$.out , but I would like to see them in a terminal. If these terminal options aren't going to have any effect, then kcm_autostart shouldn't offer them (which is a slightly different bug, I guess). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kdenlive] [Bug 437112] "Change speed" cripples clip in/out boundaries.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=437112 --- Comment #4 from Veps --- (In reply to emohr from comment #3) > Can you check with the nightly build if you have the same behavior? I've tested with Nightly 21.07.70 (kdenlive-master-769-windows-mingw_64-gcc) and the answer is: yes and no. Yes, for the particular file I've uploaded this seems to fix the issue but for the file I'm actually working with I would call it a clear regression. Not only it does not fix the issue (for my real file) but also just loading the file onto the timeline brings exactly the same issue I've described initially: the clip starts at about 30 s into the Video -- with out further do! Before that I could observe that the little loading bar below the file after you drag the file into the project window loads multiple times to 100% -- which I didn't observe on 20.04.xx. I would say it only should load one time to 100% as it did in the old version. But to be fair I'm not even sure if this is the version which is supposed to fix the issue. kde/kdenlive is all over the place: issue system here on bugs.kde.org, then a gitlab isntance on invent.kde.org with another issue tracker and finally even (a clone?) on github.com. Than I can/could find "Daily builds" somewhere (miss the link atm) as well as "Nightly builds" from a Jenkins instance. Please point me to the correct file and preferable please link the corresponding chnage/diff on github/gitlab if possible. I will try to reproduce the the same error in a smaller file. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[dolphin] [Bug 434125] High CPU usage with "size of contents" option when trying to analyze "/proc" folder
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=434125 Jérôme Borme changed: What|Removed |Added CC||jerome.bo...@laposte.net --- Comment #2 from Jérôme Borme --- Activating option "Size of contents, up to 10 levels deep", leads to 100% cpu usage in a seemingly infinite loop (can last hours). Some dirs also report a much overestimated size. On one example, a dir (15 levels, 1045 dir, 41233 files, `du` size of 169 GiB) is reported as 512.2 TiB. Selecting a lower number of levels (2-3) does not trigger the problem (size is underestimated, as expected). The tree might contain circular symbolic links. fs is brtfs. I have not tried browsing /proc and did not create symbolic links there. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 437338] Refresh Rate affecting Performance
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=437338 --- Comment #5 from icesag...@gmail.com --- (In reply to Halla Rempt from comment #3) Give a non-condescending answer next time. Labeling something as "Not a bug" instantly is not helpful in the least when it clearly is and there are things that can be done. Just because you don't know or even care to think about doesn't mean something is the way it is. Higher refresh rate monitors are very common and saying that the GPU is what is limiting it when that is clearly not the case is just ignorant. (In reply to Tiar from comment #4) Perfect, this is an actual working and appropriate response. I'm having zero issues by turning this down in the application and it's working flawlessly. I wanted to get a glimpse of the available channels, so I pressed F5 for the channel list, refreshed it and saved it to a file for archive purposes, as I do every few months. But then the GUI did not react to mouse input anymore. There was no CPU load, so it wasn’t a typical infinite loop. Next I tried Ctrl+Q and it worked: I got the “Do you want to quit” dialog. So it will work like there's hidden column, when its sort is enabled then any other active column's sort will be replaced and when it's disabled the previous used sort will be restored and enabled.
