[kmymoney] [Bug 445721] AqBanking crash while Setting up American Express Account
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=445721 Thomas Baumgart changed: What|Removed |Added Status|REPORTED|NEEDSINFO Resolution|--- |WAITINGFORINFO --- Comment #1 from Thomas Baumgart --- Even though you experience this problem when using KMyMoney as the application, the crash is caused by the AqBanking/Gwenhywfar libraries underneath. The setup wizard is simply called by KMyMoney and does its thing. So I am sorry to say that this looks more like an upstream (Gwenhywfar) problem. Which version of AqBanking / Gwenhywfar do you use? When starting KMyMoney from a console, you can see something like the following (among other output): Loading "/usr/lib64/qt5/plugins/kmymoney/kbanking.so" "Plugins: kbanking loaded, build with (5.7.4stable-0/6.4.0.0stable), run with (5.7.4.0/6.4.0.0)" 7:2021-11-19 08:45:13:aqbanking started Possible workaround: did you try to use the 'ofximporter' instead of 'kbanking' when setting up the mapping of the account? [krita] [Bug 445657] Loading 250 Frames is slow

If I was doing the coding, that's > what I would have done in this situation, to speed up the display. If you have a patch for that, it would be very welcome as a merge request here: https://invent.kde.org/graphics/krita/-/merge_requests . For now, since it's very understandable that Krita takes quite a long time for such a big amount of data to load, (note that it doesn't need to just show it but allow you to edit it - I don't think you can edit pixels for every frame in Blender... though I might be wrong. In any case Blender has much more programmers than us, it's a much bigger project, so it's uderstandable that it's also more performant). --- Also, a note for the next time: one bug report should be about one issue. Otherwise there are multiple conversations going on about different topics and it's more difficult for a programmer to see what the issue is/are or when to close the report (bug reports are very development-oriented, it's our place to organize work on Krita, so it's important to us to keep it in order). It's completely fine (even strongly encouraged) to create a three bug reports at the same time, if you have three issues to report. Bug reports are more like a register of all issues instead of a forum thread, it's for example very common for a bug report to wait undefined amount of time without any interaction until finally someone gets to work on it and makes another comment or closes the report with a commit hash. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 445657] Loading 250 Frames performance problem and jump back/forward buttons doesn't seem to do ANYTHING
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=445657 Emmet O'Neill changed: What|Removed |Added Status|REPORTED|RESOLVED Resolution|--- |WORKSFORME CC||emmetoneill@gmail.com --- Comment #5 from Emmet O'Neill --- (In reply to Hoang Duy Tran from comment #4) > I was using nightly build (krita-nightly_d2f29d7.dmg), downloaded on > 14/11/2021. After read your comment, I went to download the > 'krita-5.0.0-beta2.dmg' (today, 18/11/2021) and was able loading all 250 > frames, with little delay (sustainable), I still notice the delay when I > started playing 'Cache regeneration..' but no 99% stuck as previous version. > Still the 'Skip Back' button moves 1 frame backward, identical to the 'Back' > button, and 'Skip Forward' button is functioning exactly like the 'Forward' > button. I don't understand why you'd need TWO BUTTONS performing exactly the > same function. If I was editing I would JUMP by my mouse to a position where > I would like to place my next frame, this must be done by MOUSE POINTER, > only when I would like to jump to the beginning should I use 'Skip Back' (or > rather misleading name, it looks more like 'First Frame' button) and the > other looks more like 'Last Frame' button, honestly. The "skip forward" button will jump to the next available keyframe on the active layer. As such, if a keyframe exists on every available frame (on 1s, in animation talk), both the next/skip forward buttons will appear to do the same thing. As of now, if there are no keyframes on the active layer, nothing happens when you when you hit the skip buttons. We could probably still do something useful in that edge case, but I believe the buttons are working as they should. If things are not working as you expect, it's probably that you have the wrong layer active. Anyway, if this bug is something that can no longer be reproduced, I'm going to close this report for now. Thanks all. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krita] [Bug 445731] New: Free Transform Tool Rotation in erratic angles
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=445731 Bug ID: 445731 Summary: Free Transform Tool Rotation in erratic angles Product: krita Version: 5.0.0-beta2 Platform: Microsoft Windows OS: Microsoft Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Tools/Transform Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: scroptel...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- This is a bug of the free transformation tool of krita, one of the modes found in the transform tool options. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. In a new layer paint some lines or dots 2. select the transform tool with the free transformation mode on 3. click outside the area of the transformation box and drag the mouse around the object to rotate clockwise/counterclockwise. 4. repeat the last step multiple times in different spots around the object's pivot point (left, right, top, bottom, top left, bottom right etc.) Aditionally scaling the object and/or moving it's pivot before rotating around will cause more extreme erratic behaviours OBSERVED RESULT We can use the tool options docker and checking the rotation option on the list to observe what is happening more easily. Depending on the initial position where the user started rotating the object (right side, left side, etc.) the object may rotate normally until reaching a specific degree of rotation, if the user continues to rotate the object beyond that number the object will rotate 180 degrees on itself, after that it will start rotating in the opposite direction to that of the user's intention until coming back to the specific degree of rotation where this visual error ocurred, after this rotation will resume to normal. This behavior will repeat if the user continues to rotate the object. Aditionally if the object is scaled around the x or y axis and then the user performs the previous action, the behaviour of the tool will be more erratic, rotating small amounts and then fliping around suddenly. This bug also makes it so If the pivot point of the object is moved the object will not rotate in a full 360° degrees, skipping suddenly to another value. Other observations: This bug is not present in any of the other transformation modes of the tool. The bug seems related to the size of the transformation in the tool, but the type (pixel or vector selections) and form of the selection, or if it's transforming multple selections doesn't affect it Rotating the object on the x or y axis with the mouse also shows some weird behaviours (but that may be unrelated to this bug idk) EXPECTED RESULT The user should be able to rotate a selected region on the canvas in 360 degrees of rotation following the user's cursor using the free transformation tool, unaffected by any changes in scale. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=445668 --- Comment #3 from Nick Nethercote --- Created attachment 143713 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=143713=edit Rust reproducer I've written a tiny program that reproduces the problem. - I compiled with Rust 1.56.1 with `rustc -g a.rs`. - I ran DHAT with `vg-in-place --tool=dhat --dhat-out-file=dhout ./a`. - I viewed `dhout` with `dh_view.html`. Trunk Valgrind has a first PP like this: ``` │ #1: 0x1123BB: alloc::alloc::alloc (alloc.rs:86) │ #2: 0x112446: alloc::alloc::Global::alloc_impl (alloc.rs:166) │ #3: 0x112B29: ::allocate (alloc.rs:226) │ #4: 0x110991: alloc::raw_vec::finish_grow (raw_vec.rs:510) │ #5: 0x110E85: alloc::raw_vec::RawVec::grow_amortized (raw_vec.rs:443) │ #6: 0x111045: alloc::raw_vec::RawVec::reserve::do_reserve_and_handle (raw_vec.rs:334) │ #7: 0x11101B: alloc::raw_vec::RawVec::reserve (raw_vec.rs:338) │ #8: 0x1135DF: alloc::vec::Vec::reserve (mod.rs:805) │ #9: 0x1139AF: a::main (a.rs:5) │ #10: 0x11206A: core::ops::function::FnOnce::call_once (function.rs:227) │ #11: 0x111F5D: std::sys_common::backtrace::__rust_begin_short_backtrace (backtrace.rs:125) ``` With the abovementioned commit reverted, the first PP looks like this: ``` │ #1: 0x1123BB: alloc::alloc::alloc (alloc.rs:86) │ #2: 0x112446: alloc::alloc::Global::alloc_impl (alloc.rs:166) │ #3: 0x112B29: ::allocate (alloc.rs:226) │ #4: 0x110991: alloc::raw_vec::finish_grow (raw_vec.rs:510) │ #5: 0x110E85: alloc::raw_vec::RawVec::grow_amortized (raw_vec.rs:443) │ #6: 0x111045: alloc::raw_vec::RawVec::reserve::do_reserve_and_handle (raw_vec.rs:334) │ #7: 0x11101B: alloc::raw_vec::RawVec::reserve (raw_vec.rs:338) │ #8: 0x1135DF: alloc::vec::Vec::reserve (mod.rs:805) │ #9: 0x1139AF: f4 (a.rs:5) │ #10: 0x1139AF: f3 (a.rs:12) │ #11: 0x1139AF: f2 (a.rs:17) │ #12: 0x1139AF: f1 (a.rs:22) │ #13: 0x1139AF: a::main (a.rs:26) │ #14: 0x11206A: core::ops::function::FnOnce::call_once (function.rs:227) │ #15: 0x111F5D: std::sys_common::backtrace::__rust_begin_short_backtrace (backtrace.rs:125) ``` -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[Breeze] [Bug 445724] New: Window focused state header visual bug from menu engagement
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=445724 Bug ID: 445724 Summary: Window focused state header visual bug from menu engagement Product: Breeze Version: 5.23.3 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: QStyle Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: filipebaltaz...@gmail.com CC: noaha...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 143712 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=143712=edit focused visual state improperly triggered in window elements QtWidget app window top elements(titlebar, menubar, toolbar) visual bug when unfocused and engaging it to focused mode by triggering the menu bar. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have unfocused qtwidget based window; 2. Interact with window by triggering an event with a menubar item such as clicking; OBSERVED RESULT The darker top area of the window, as according to the new style, that involves the titlebar, menubar, and toolbar, will not follow the visual change from unfocused to focused state, only the exact menubar item and afterwards any other item on the bar that is selected. EXPECTED RESULT The new style involving top window elements shows the visual alteration from unfocused to focused state regardless of what area of the window is interacted with. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.88.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Graphics Platform: Wayland Other Observations: Haven't tested out QtQuick based apps but so far I don't think I've seen such bug on said framework. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[valgrind] [Bug 445668] Inline stack frame generation is broken for Rust binaries
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=445668 --- Comment #2 from Nick Nethercote --- > (*) BTW. What is this? It looks like a mangled Rust v0 symbol, but it isn't > because it (I also checked with c++filt) cannot be demangled. The Rust compiler currently sometimes generates symbols with a `.llvm.` suffix. These violate the v0 spec, which doesn't allow '.' chars, and the libiberty/Valgrind demangler doesn't demangle them. It's a problem that needs to be fixed on the Rust side. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
