But as I did that I'm facing more issues. Now each time I try to change a setting in the system tray applet, it doesn't save. I right click the dock and select 'Configure Latte...' and it says there's an issue and/or error. It says Error #E013 applets with same id, Warning #W201 Orphaned subcontainment, Error #E013 applets with same id. So I open the layout file in ~/.config/latte/ and manually edit out every applet with #61 id and then next restart another error appears but sometimes with a different ID. Try to hover over an hyperlink or something that changes the shape/state of the cursor (e.g a search box). OBSERVED RESULT The cursor stays in the same state (or shape) that it had before. Happens with manual song changes in both the Media Player and in VLC, and happens when VLC automatically changes songs from the previous song ending. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open VLC Media Player. 2. Begin playback of a playlist in VLC (repeat and shuffle settings don't matter). 3. Observe the Plasma Media Player's icon appearing in the Plasma Panel. 4. Wait for the current song to finish playback, or skip to near the end to save time. 5. Observe the 'Stop media playback' icon appearing where the 'Play' icon was on the Plasma Media Player widget. 6. Plasma Media Player widget disappears from the Plasma Panel. OBSERVED RESULT Plasma Media Player disappears from the Plasma Panel unexpectedly during music playlist playback, often making it impossible to use Plasma Media Player default shortcuts (ex. Play/Pause, Next, Previous) to control playback of the playlist afterwards. I say often because inputting the shortcuts still works briefly after the widget disappears. Also, disabling the default media player shortcuts for: Media playback next Media playback previous Pause media playback Media volume up Media volume down and using my own custom shortcuts in place of them, causes those media controls to continue to function when the widget is not visible. Experimenting a bit, I see it show up above a bottom panel and under a top panel, but no line appears beyond the edge of panels on the left or right sides of the screen. I've tried looking for an option to remove this, and tried modifying the panel's size and position to see if the panel would redraw without it, but nothing works. I've attached an image showing the line far above the edge. I seem to recall that line being present but much lower in the past (as recently as 5.23.3), so I wonder if some recent change just made this line draw a bit higher than it's supposed to. Also of note is that, when I hit "edit mode" on the panel, the extra bar that pops up with options like "screen edge" and "panel height" also has its own separate line issue. I would really appreciate a way to fix this, including any temporary workarounds, since this line appears over all windows that go near that panel (e.g. all maximized windows) and is a visual nuisance. I don't see how this can be wrong, but let's see, on the file
src/plugins/SSHManager/sshmanagerpluginwidget.cpp I connect the treeview to
the connectRequested
connect(ui->treeView, ::doubleClicked, this,
::connectRequested);
The only way that this can go wrong is if Qt is not delivering correctly
the doubleClicked.
so we can try to rewrite this as:
connect(ui->treeView, ::doubleClicked, this, [this] { qDebug() <<
"Bleh"; connectRequested()});
Because I'm connecting directly the doubleClicked to the connectRequested,
I don't see a way that this could fail.
