[valgrind] [Bug 456171] [PATCH] FreeBSD: Don't record address errors when accessing the 'kern.ps_strings' sysctl struct
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=456171 --- Comment #1 from Paul Floyd --- Thanks for the patch. Would it be possible to make a version without all of the whitespace changes? Secondly, you are breaking the strict static linking by adding -lc. That is a big no-no. You should be using VG_(sysctlbyname) rather than sysctlbyname, and similarly you should be using vki_ data structures, adding to include/vki/vki-freebsd.h if necessary (though that is not done 100% of the time). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Based on your screenshot it looks like there are some additional pieces of software that were not included. You would need to install Python, then the `opentimelineio` package, and made sure everything is in your system path. I think it would be better if Kdenlive bundled this though. [kmymoney] [Bug 450426] OFX import is broken on MS-Windows
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=450426 --- Comment #30 from John Zoetebier --- Don't shoot the messenger! Don't fix an application if it is not broken. This OFX import was working properly before. I have no problem with introducing a new build system, but TEST, TEST, TEST ! And it's not like there are not oodles of tools available nowadays to automate the testing either. * Run unit tests * Automated deploys to a build server * Virtual guests for testing on other platforms Personal rant follows. I have been using KMyMoney for 20 years, maybe more. But the last few years, since around 2019, it has come to the point that I do not even bother anymore to upgrade to a new release as it gets worse and worse. I have become reluctant to lodge bugs out of fear it will just get worse. For example: * The tax report has entries at the top that are not even tax related * The order of accounts under Account is not right anymore: reverse order * There is a bug with If someone feels it is getting too complicated, then stop fiddling with the software until you understand what you are doing. Rather do NOTHING, than "FIX" something that is NOT BROKEN in the first place. Hopefully this is a wakeup call. Also: > Some developer, in their ultimate wisdom, decided to move the dtd files to > another location. The issue was caused by switching to another build system for libofx, a dependency library. [kwin] [Bug 455771] Plasma Wayland (5.25.1) freezing glitches on gaming
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=455771 --- Comment #7 from Zamundaaa --- (In reply to McCak from comment #5) > (In reply to Zamundaaa from comment #4) > > Where did you export them? kwin_wayland needs to get them. Easiest way to > > ensure that is to put them into /etc/environment and rebooting > > oh yeah turns out the testing was wrong on my end.. yeah after adding those > env var the problem seems gone..Do u know exactly what happen here? Sorry about missing your response. The issue is caused by KWin directly using buffers from the game to drive the display (direct scanout); the driver tells KWin that doing that will work and yet when actually trying to present an image it fails. I'll ask around if compositors are expected to handle this situation but I think this is something the driver has to prevent 100% of the time or things will get a lot more complicated for compositors. Either way, this is a driver bug, can you report it to https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues? The relevant things to mention are that atomic commits fail with direct scanout on the dedicated GPU, and the error message you found before (kernel: [drm:dm_plane_helper_prepare_fb [amdgpu]] *ERROR* Failed to pin framebuffer with error -22). If you link the issue here I'll try to provide any additional information that could help -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 456185] New: LRV proxy clips not used when fixing clip problems when opening a project.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=456185 Bug ID: 456185 Summary: LRV proxy clips not used when fixing clip problems when opening a project. Product: kdenlive Version: 22.04.2 Platform: Microsoft Windows OS: Microsoft Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Video Display & Export Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: dar...@mcgrathtoronto.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Project uses LRV files for proxy files. If clip sources are moved (e.g. directory name change or opening project on a different computer with a different file structure) kdenlive popup asks user to search for clips recursively or manually. Choosing recursive, LRV files are not set as proxies and no clips in the project have proxies. Choosing manual, selecting LRV sets the actual clip to the LRV file, not setting the proxy as the LRV. Rendered output is low res. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a project that uses LRV files as proxies and add an LRV clip to the Project Bin 2. add clip to timeline. 3. Save project 4. Move clips to a different location 5. Open Project 6. Search recursively for directory of clips, or manually for each clip. 7. When all clips found then select OK OBSERVED RESULT Project will have clips but no Proxy indicator and proxies are not used in interface resulting in choppy preview. If LRV was chosen as replacement clip manually then rendered output will be low res. EXPECTED RESULT If LRV proxies are a selected option in Project settings then LRV files should be searched for when finding clips recursively. If clips are found manually then LRV should be set as proxy and mp4 as original regardless of whether LRV or MP4 selected by user. This can include window title bars, system tray icons, Kickstart, and the login manager outside of Plasma. I initially thought this had to do with my Wacom tablet, but it has happened even with the tablet turned off since system startup. I do slightly suspect KDE is still detecting the included adapter, even though the tablet is off., but it would be very inconvenient to have to disconnect that each time. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have a Wacom One 13 connected to the PC, along with a standard HDMI monitor. The tablet can be off, but should be plugged in to power via the adapter. 2. Boot. 3. Log out, and log back in. Items in other columns have the highlight correctly behind the icon and caption. It's kinda really difficult to see with Light Breeze Plasma theme but is more visible in Dark theme. Disclaimer: I didn't go through the code nor know how it works, but I think I might have found some kind of clue. plasma-workspace/applets/systemtray/package/contents/ui/items/ItemLoader.qml sets z = x which I'm just guessing affects the items' z ? (Looks like it's to make tab key navigation order work correctly; explained here: https://github.com/KDE/plasma-workspace/commit/73d13d1bfee620c76709ea39a9b7948323887059). So perhaps that results in leftmost items with small x getting z that is not bigger than the highlight's z ? (or something) I may be entirely wrong in my reasoning, of course, but setting z = x+1 seems to fix the appearance, so at least it seems to be somehow related.
