[digikam] [Bug 459819] DigiKam Crashes after downloading several files
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=459819 --- Comment #6 from Maik Qualmann --- At the start we do a test to see whether the basic functions of the DB work. If no tables can be created in SQLite, the write permissions are missing. Possibly digiKam does not have the right to write in the directory. Since it is a Beta version of macOS, there may well have been further tightening for programs that do not come from theapp store. [plasmashell] [Bug 459238] fail to open from desktop after KDE Plasma update
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=459238 --- Comment #10 from chazzy --- (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #8) > Yep. It's been a while, and I think this should be revisited. I mean, looking at the context, how could this not be a plasma issue? the wine version didn't change, the application didn't update, it works on the xfce4 desktop environment, and the bug only occurred after updating a select number of plasma packages. It was working in past versions of plasma on the same environment. It seems to me that you dismissed this since it was present in gnome, but that could just simply mean that gnome has the same bug. Could you please shine some light onto why you don't think it's a bug within plasma? I'm not an expert, but given the context, I feel like I can only blame plasma for this. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=458164 cnachtm...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||cnachtm...@gmail.com --- Comment #2 from cnachtm...@gmail.com --- I have Python 3.8.10 installed and have the same issue (with LabPlot v 2.9.0 on Windows). What *exact* version of Python is needed for this version of LabPlot? There isn't any indication in the program itself that I can find that says this (seems like having this specified in the components tab of the "About LabPlot" dialog would be a good idea). LabPlot also doesn't seem to be able to detect that it's the wrong version of Python (or isn't providing any sort of warning to the user). I did run upgrades yesterday before experiencing this issue, not sure which version I upgraded _from_ though. Current installed version is 5.15.5+p20.04+tunstable+git20220909.1409-0. Using apt to try to downgrade to version 5.15.5+p20.04+tunstable+git20220809.0847-0 gives a resolution that attempts to remove most depending KDE software and some system-critical packages (including neon-desktop), so I'm holding fire on doing that for now. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=459870 --- Comment #6 from Fushan Wen --- Git commit 3c2437815920856608a27361fe1da03e763742a5 by Fushan Wen. Committed on 04/10/2022 at 15:41. Pushed by fusionfuture into branch 'master'. kded: properly delete factory to fix file descriptor leak Not unloading the plugin loader will cause file descriptor leaks in kded, and when fd limit is reached, accent color can't be updated anymore because updating accent color requires writing to kdeglobals. This fixes the leak and also fixes the accent color bug. [kdeconnect] [Bug 459979] New: Ability to answer calls on desktop
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=459979 Bug ID: 459979 Summary: Ability to answer calls on desktop Classification: Applications Product: kdeconnect Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Unspecified Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: common Assignee: albertv...@gmail.com Reporter: chermnykh2...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Currently when receiving a call on mobile the only option on desktop is to pause the currently playing media and show a notification. I'd be nice to be able to answer the call directly from desktop (without need to switch the headset to another device) and forward the audio to the mobile. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[okular] [Bug 459978] New: Add option to restore all tabs from closed window
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=459978 Bug ID: 459978 Summary: Add option to restore all tabs from closed window Classification: Applications Product: okular Version: 21.12.3 Platform: Mint (Ubuntu based) OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: okular-de...@kde.org Reporter: mcmuf...@mailbox.org Target Milestone: --- I'd like to be able to close Okular, shut my computer down, boot up again, open Okular, and be prompted to open all of the tabs that I closed when I closed the window before shutdown. I realize that there is already a recent documents functionality, but it is not nearly as convenient as a window restore functionality. I'd like to implement this myself, but it will likely take me some time to learn whatever this is written in well enough to do so. I'm also not sure how to assign this to myself. If anyone could give me pointers on either of these two things, it would be much appreciated! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[digikam] [Bug 459969] Unconfirmed Faces are not grouped correctly when re-running recognition
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=459969 --- Comment #3 from Jens --- Actually I just found out this is how the "Recognize faces" option is supposed to work... going through the "Unknown" faces and applying the currently learned known faces against those not yet tagged. Right? But it doesn't. If I choose "Recognize faces" here, it'll put *some* faces into "Unconfirmed" but the majority will stay in "Unknown" - even very similar faces of known and tagged people. There's still something going wrong here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
