[lokalize] [Bug 483402] New: "Approve and go next" keyboard shortcut doesn't jump to next entry in list when list is filtered by search terms
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=483402 Bug ID: 483402 Summary: "Approve and go next" keyboard shortcut doesn't jump to next entry in list when list is filtered by search terms Classification: Applications Product: lokalize Version: 24.02.0 Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: editor Assignee: sdepi...@gmail.com Reporter: fi...@tutanota.com CC: aa...@kde.org, sha...@ukr.net Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY "Approve and go next" keyboard shortcut moves to the next translation entry by next (number) in file, not next in filtered list, when filtering results in "Translation Units" and editing those entries. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open .xlf file with translations to edit 2. Search for a string in "Translation Units" search bar at the top. This will reduce the number of translations shown in the "Translation Units" list. 3. With the mouse, click on an entry to edit 4. Use keyboard shortcut to "Approve and go next" OBSERVED RESULT The next translation pair selected is the next by "Entry" number listed in the UNFILTERED list, rather than the next in the filtered list. If the initial translation pair had an "Entry" number of 40, the next pair selected after pressing "Approve and go next" keyboard shortcut would be 41 regardless of whether that entry is in the filtered list. EXPECTED RESULT The next translation pair selected by pressing "Approve and go next" keyboard shortcut should be the next in the filtered list. Then I have secondary monitor, which is FHD and I run in with 100% scaling. 4K display is the default one. When I run Java applications DBeaver 24.0.0 or PHPStorm 2023.3.5 following happens: - If I have only 4K display connected, applications correctly start with 200% scaling. - If I have both displays connected, applications start on 4K display, but with 100% scaling and therefore very small. PHPStorm runs as xclient, DBeaver seems to run as native Wayland client (doesn't show in xlsclients). *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Plug in 2 screens with different scaling. 2. [KOpeningHours] [Bug 483400] New: Specify which version of extra-cmake-modules provides the required ECMQmlModule
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=483400 Bug ID: 483400 Summary: Specify which version of extra-cmake-modules provides the required ECMQmlModule Classification: Applications Product: KOpeningHours Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Other Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: vkra...@kde.org Reporter: kidha...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY I'm running a Docker container built from a Python:3.11-bullseye image, which uses Debian Bullseye packages. I tried to install KOpeningHours, but I got an error saying that ECMQmlModule wasn't found. This module comes from extra-cmake-modules (ECM), and the most recent version of ECM that Bullseye has is 5.78.0-3. Line 14 of CMakeLists.txt [1] in KOpeningHours seems to specify ECM version 5.44 as the minimum version, so I expected version 5.78.0-3 to work. However, ECMQmlModule was added in version 5.91.0 [2], so should the requested version of 5.44 be raised to 5.91? STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install a version earlier than 5.91.0 of extra-cmake-modules. I'll choose 5.78.0, which is the version found in Debian Bullseye. The following line installs ECM from source: > git clone https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/extra-cmake-modules.git && cd > extra-cmake-modules && git checkout v5.78.0 && cmake -S . && make install 2. Install KOpeningHours. In my case the location of the ECM library is in /usr/local/share/, so I added that to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH. I'll use the most recent commit to KOpeningHours as of this bug report. > CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH=/usr/local/share/ pip install > git+https://invent.kde.org/libraries/kopeninghours.git@bf9fa422da84a9dbb55c0431955672a0bcda1ff4 OBSERVED RESULT KOpeningHours is not installed. The following error can be seen in the output: CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:33 (include): include could not find requested file: ECMQmlModule EXPECTED RESULT KOpeningHours doesn't install, but the error instead mentions that the version of ECM is not compatible. Something like the following, which is shown when trying to install KOpeningHours using version of ECM lower than 5.44, like with 5.43.0: CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:14 (find_package): Could not find a configuration file for package "ECM" that is compatible with requested version "5.44". The following configuration files were considered but not accepted: /usr/local/share/ECM/cmake/ECMConfig.cmake, version: 5.43.0 An alternative could be an error mentioning which versions of ECM contain ECMQmlModule in order to successfully install KOpeningHours. [plasmashell] [Bug 483395] New: Task Manager window preview shows offset data when directory / folder name is long
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=483395 Bug ID: 483395 Summary: Task Manager window preview shows offset data when directory / folder name is long Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: 6.0.1 Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Task Manager and Icons-Only Task Manager Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: fi...@tutanota.com CC: qydwhotm...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Dolphin, open a directory with a name long enough to need an ellipsis at the end ("verylongname verylongname verylongname " is long enough, longer is more obvious though). 2. Mouseover the Dolphin program in the Task Manager and then don't move the mouse. OBSERVED RESULT The Task Manager window preview shows, but the text (program title and directory name), close button, and preview image are all offset. The text and close button are offset to the right, the preview is offset to the right and down. Once the preview shows, moving the mouse will refresh / update the preview window and it displays correctly. EXPECTED RESULT Task Manager window preview looks regular. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.2 Kernel Version: 6.7.9-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I've seen flickering in the Task Manager window previews of other programs sometimes, perhaps because it seems to load initially, and then update when the mouse moves even if it shows the same data. So perhaps all Task Manager window previews might be susceptible to this issue, and I've only noticed it with Dolphin. Seems that the preview shouldn't change once loaded (and load correctly the first time around)? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
