Hi. I've the same issue here (ArchLinux with kde-applications-meta 16.12-1, plasma-mata 5.9-1). My system is running in a VM and now there is only a part of the screen unresponsive to the mouse - when i resize my VM-window then the new parts are responsive. For example: when the issue occured i had a resolution of 800x600, when i increase my resolution to FullHD the new parts are responsive - leaving only the initial 800x600 (red) area dead. There is problem with transform masks and it seems to be only on windows. On linux masks are slow but work. On windows Krita seems stalling/hanging after resizing. Please try to open attached file and try to transform already scaled down layer. Here I get hang after second try to transform. Also in PS you can save file without alpha channel and turn off transparency and transparency will be still there (and no alpha ofcourse). Maybe PS is saving transparency "elsewhere" when transparency option is off. It seems icon-only manager has fixed type settings to manual sorting and group always. But alt + mouse is used by 3D apps like blender, freecad or maya (not necessary default) to navigate viewport. Fedora uses default meta. Can check more distros if you want. Another app using alt+click is Inkscape to select object below. Blender also uses alt+click for loop selection. It's not a problem to change that shortcut especially that KDE has this setting visible without need to install any tweak. Discover hasn't been working since updating system kubuntu 14.04 into 16.04. Yes, it updates all packages and programs, but I have konsole and apt (or apt-get, or aptitude)for this. I need to download programs more comfortable than in konsole, but Discover just can't show me them.
