I've notice today the issue go slow only in maximized and fullscreen mode. if
resize the window the playback play with normal speed

my desktop is a set in 4K. if this help

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. build gwenview from git
2. open any animated GIF
3. compare with other image viewers (or internet navigator (as y video))

Actual Results:  
the animation GIF playback too slow

Expected Results:  
animation GIF playback with normal speed

Actual Results:  
- can't launch from menu
- the muber of percentage completed is in scientific notation "1e+02%"

Expected Results:  
- can launch from menu
- show decimal mumbers on percentage completed "100%"

i can't reproduce the issue (with/out) reboot/close session (with/out symbols)
now. but fails ksystemactivitymanage (http://sl1pkn07.wtf/paste/view/b0831530)

need more test, but this is not first time xembedproxy crash after arch apply
the patch

When launch nvidia-settings with GTK3:
