[kate] [Bug 356827] KWrite crashes when clicking "save as" on a blank file

2015-12-23 Thread Mattia via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356827

Another strange thing I've just noticed: if I create a new text file in Dolphin
(right click - create - text file) and then I open it with kWrite the
application doesn't crash when I click on "Save as" button (even with OpenGL as
rendering engine).
However if I just open kWrite and click on "save as" it crashes.

[partitionmanager] [Bug 364233] New: Request to switch to hfsplus-tools

2016-06-12 Thread Mattia via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364233

Bug ID: 364233
Summary: Request to switch to hfsplus-tools
   Product: partitionmanager
   Version: 2.2
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: andr...@stikonas.eu
  Reporter: mattia.ve...@tiscali.it

Fedora uses hfsplus-tools as default instead of hfsplusutils. These two
packages conflicts each other and hfsplusutils cannot be installed (removing
hfsplus-tools would cause a lot of dependant packages to be removed as well).

Accordingly to this old bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=212882
and to some information found in Google, hfsplus-tools is preferred and much
more complete, so I would ask if it's possible to make kpmcore to switch to
hfsplus-tools.

Reproducible: Always

I tried with another server running MariaDB 10.1.14 and it's working. I think
MariaDB 5.5.44 running on my Qnap NAS it's just too old...

I don't know if I hit the same problem, but I get an error trying to migrate
SQLite to an external MySQL database (no details are showed). So, yes, I think
this file is still valid.

Additionally, I can't even set up a new empty database, I think for the same
problem. Creation and migration both errors out in the middle of the task.

Using Digikam 5.0.0 and MariaDB 5.5.44

[partitionmanager] [Bug 368175] New: Error creating new partition with KDE auto-mount enabled

2016-09-03 Thread Mattia via KDE Bugzilla

Bug ID: 368175

  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: major
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: andr...@stikonas.eu
  Reporter: mattia.ve...@tiscali.it

A user on KDE bugzilla has reported problems with partitioning and formatting
an hard drive. I believe this is due to KDE automount of removable media
feature that, if enabled, mounts the new partition before PM has finished his
tasks. See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1371755

Is there something that PM can do to avoid this error? Maybe temporarily
disable KDE automount feature when it runs?

Reproducible: Didn't try

[partitionmanager] [Bug 369288] hfsplus-tools commands renamed in some distributions

I don't know if hfsplus-tools can handle HFS too. I don't personally use HFS or
HFS+.

[partitionmanager] [Bug 369288] New: hfsplus-tools commands renamed in some distributions

2016-09-24 Thread Mattia via KDE Bugzilla

After the switch to hfsplus-tools in bug #364233 I realized that Fedora renames
the standard hfsplus-tools executables.
Specifically, newfs_hfs is renamed to mkfs.hfsplus and fsck_hfs is renamed to
fsck.hfsplus

I've opened a request in Fedora bugzilla for using symlinks instead of renaming
executables, but I then realized that other distributions like Ubuntu and
Debian are using mkfs.hfsplus and fsck.hfsplus commands, so maybe would be
better if partitionmanager checks if those commands are present in the system
and uses those instead of native names?

Some online quotes services require ISIN code in the URL instead of commercial
symbol.
Can you add the ability to pass ISIN code as variable?

[dolphin] [Bug 369850] New: Can't browse samba workgroups

2016-10-03 Thread Mattia via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369850

Bug ID: 369850

When I try to enter in Network -> Samba shares by the left panel in Dolphin I
get "Unable to find any workgroups in your local network. This might be caused
by an enabled firewall.".
However this used to work and I didn't changed anything in my firewall. I can
also browse samba shares by pointing directly to IP address of a server (for
example if I type in the bar smb://192.168.1.200 it opens my server) so it's
not a firewall problem, I think.

Dolphin 16.08.1
KDE Frameworks 5.26.0
Qt 5.6.1 (compilato con 5.6.1)
Fedora 24 rpms
