[dolphin] [Bug 483797] Selected folders are black
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=483797 --- Comment #4 from Oleg --- (In reply to Felix Ernst from comment #3) > As the two attachments in this bug report show: The folders have the exact > same colour as the selection rectangle, so if the folder didn't change > colour the folders would become somewhat invisible. Would this be preferred? Pure black icon looks completely out of place. Maybe black outline would solve this issue? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

If try to add it to Autostart section of System Settings, nothing strange happens. But when restart the system, Viber doesn't start up for some reason. After I opened Autostart and tried to look inside the added shortcut by clicking edit button, the System Settings window crashed. This happens every time! I looked into stacktrace and didn't find any valuable info there, cause the tracing only indicated the line positions of the respective *.so libs in the stack! No any additional textual info or something! I suspect, that crashing is caused due to the parsing complications of the command-line... Here it is from viber.desktop file: Exec='/usr/bin/flatpak run --branch=stable --arch=x86_64 --command=viber com.viber.Viber' The same thing occurs for similar *.desktop files, that have more complex command lines... so the problem is more global. [yakuake] [Bug 462083] New: [Wayland] yakuake small height and cannot be adjusted
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=462083 Bug ID: 462083 Summary: [Wayland] yakuake small height and cannot be adjusted Classification: Applications Product: yakuake Version: 22.08.3 Platform: Archlinux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: h...@kde.org Reporter: oleg.yakovenko+...@pm.me Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 153911 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=153911=edit Video of the bug SUMMARY After upgrade to Plasma 5.26.3 yakuake became really small in vertical height. When trying to manually adjust the height yakuake seems to "hit some limit" and doesn't expand beyond 256 columns and 6 rows on a 4K screen. Tried multiple versions starting from 22.03.90 and up to 22.08.3 which leads me to believe that something has changed in Plasma or QT Frameworks which breaks the height calculation. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open yakuake 2. Try adjusting height by dragging border. OBSERVED RESULT Yakuake can shrink in height but cannot be increased after "restoring" original size (for me it's 6 rows). Adjusting number of rows and columns has no effect. EXPECTED RESULT Yakuake can change height freely SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.100.0 Qt Version: 5.15.7 Kernel Version: 6.0.9-zen1-1-zen (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-Core Processor Memory: 31.3 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT Manufacturer: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. [kscreenlocker] [Bug 458540] Keyboard layout indicator is missing with certain distro setups
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=458540 --- Comment #5 from Oleg Solovyov --- (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #4) > Thanks for the info. Vlad, could you take a look? I don't think it's an upstream problem but still I would appreciate any help on restoring kcheckpass in any way. Or moving from Plasma 5.24 to 5.25 would be blocked in our stable products. Just restoring files from 5.24.6 works but it's not fine - authentificator interface has changed since and plasma-workspace needs patching as well. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kscreenlocker] [Bug 458540] Keyboard layout indicator is missing
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=458540 --- Comment #3 from Oleg Solovyov --- Additional info: # l /usr/libexec/kf5/kscreenlocker_greet -rwx--s--x 1 root chkpwd 158056 авг 31 18:01 /usr/libexec/kf5/kscreenlocker_greet Our distro uses tcb with users have their own /etc/tcb//shadow As of consequence, password checker has to be in chkpwd group with sgid bit set. Before throwing out kcheckpass, it worked. After, kscreenlocker_greet should have sgid to successfully unlock session but it breaks keyboard layouts shown. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
