Okay, I thought this was supported as the example in the Latte-dock wiki FAQ
page here show it being mapped to the Meta key.

If Kwin/Wayland gesture recognition is implemented, then surely that include
some analog for a right-click, whether that's a long-press or some thing else?

I just downloaded git master and built it - latte dock no longer crashes, but
the right-click on an icon only calls up the context-menu briefly and then it
disappears (so same behaviour as before) - but there isn't
