[kwin] [Bug 401681] New: libsecrect/ gnome-keyring not working under wayland
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=401681 Bug ID: 401681 Summary: libsecrect/ gnome-keyring not working under wayland Product: kwin Version: 5.14.4 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: wayland-generic Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: now.im@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 116640 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=116640=edit Mailspring error message SUMMARY I am not sure this is a Kwin specific bug. I use mailspring that needs libsecrect and gnome-keyring. It does not use kwallet as it does not support libsecret. I have edited the /etc/pam.d/login file according to archwiki in order to unlock gnome-keyring at login. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GNOME/Keyring#Using_the_keyring_outside_GNOME Under x session, it works fine but under wayland mailspring shows an error message that I have included in the attachment. A similar bug has been posted in sddm github page. https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues/1104 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Opening an app that uses gnome-keyring under wayland OBSERVED RESULT gnome-keyring not unlocked when starting the system. EXPECTED RESULT Seamless libsecret/ gnome-keyring integration when pam file is edited. [elisa] [Bug 387772] New: Stuck at configuring
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=387772 Bug ID: 387772 Summary: Stuck at configuring Product: elisa Version: 0.0.80 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: matthieu_gall...@yahoo.fr Reporter: now.im@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 109295 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=109295=edit Terminal log I am not sure it is a Baloo problem or not. I am using the Arch Linux package and kindly check if it has listed all required dependencies or not. https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/elisa/ If not mention the package name, I will file a bug there. My problem is as follows: Elisa starts but only shows the configuration circle and it is stuck there. It could not retrieve any track file info from my /home/user/music location. I have another NTFS partition where my main music storage is located. It could not found that either. I could not drag and drop any .mp3 or .aac file. My question is, is .aac file supported? I have attached my terminal information. Thanks for this awesome project. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[gwenview] [Bug 387409] New: 'Go Back to Original' looks old.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=387409 Bug ID: 387409 Summary: 'Go Back to Original' looks old. Product: gwenview Version: 17.08.2 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: gwenview-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: now.im@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 109098 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=109098=edit Image showing the dialog box. This is a minor UI that I have noticed many times. This is not a big deal but we are is Plasma 5 era and UI consistency is important in user experience. Here is the process I follow: 1. Take a screenshot using PrtScr key, 2. Export the image to Gwenview, 3. Crop the image and Save as the image in Downloads, 4. I see the UI image in the attachment. As I have said, this is not a huge bug but it would be nice to see all round same transition. If devs feel it is unnecessary, they can close the issue. Lots of love and appreciation for your hard work. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
