[Akonadi] [Bug 449042] Experiences multiple random crashes per day
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=449042 --- Comment #3 from Aadniz --- KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.16.7-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[Akonadi] [Bug 449042] Experiences multiple random crashes per day
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=449042 --- Comment #2 from Aadniz --- After the update today, I experienced applications closing, but the DE did not crash. I had to manually kill kwin_wayland to be able to open the applications in question again. Applications that automatically got closed includes: - Discord - Spotify - Element-desktop - Firefox - Steam After they got closed, it was not possible to open them again unless I restart kwin_wayland. Clicking log out froze, and did nothing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[Elisa] [Bug 449044] Wishlist: Sort by file creation date
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=449044 --- Comment #4 from Aadniz --- (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #3) > Perhaps a better solution would be a "Recently Added" view in Elisa, to > complement the "Recently played" and "Frequently played" views. What do you > think? Oh yes, that would work too -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[Elisa] [Bug 449044] Wishlist: Sort by file creation date
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=449044 --- Comment #2 from Aadniz --- (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > Can you explain the use case for this? Wouldn't the order look pretty random > in the app? I suppose many people like to listen to the music they last added, and having the ability to sort makes it much better when starting a playlist queue. I find myself having to go into the music directory, sort by file created/added, and then manually add them to playlist queue from newest to old. Why isn't this just included in the sort dropdown? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Elisa] [Bug 449044] New: Wishlist: Sort by file creation date
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=449044 Bug ID: 449044 Summary: Wishlist: Sort by file creation date Product: Elisa Version: unspecified Platform: unspecified OS: Unspecified Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: matthieu_gall...@yahoo.fr Reporter: kristiana...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- I've been using spotify for years, and when playing music I usually always sort by time added. Lately, I've been looking for something more local and I think Elisa is a pretty good application. The only thing that I feel is missing, is to be able to sort by file creation date (date when it was saved to disk). In "Files", you can only sort by A-Z, and in "Tracks" there is no option for this either. [kwin] [Bug 443139] New: Copying text sometimes copies nothing
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=443139 Bug ID: 443139 Summary: Copying text sometimes copies nothing Product: kwin Version: master Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: input Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: kristiana...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 142020 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=142020=edit Clipboard history test SUMMARY Sometimes, when copying (either if it's CTRL + C or Right click, copy), it will copy nothing. STEPS TO REPRODUCE I was not able to re-produce the issue inside a VM. OBSERVED RESULT Sometimes, when copy pasting, the clipboard appears empty (wiped or contains nothing). Looking at clipboard history, last item after the issue appears, is blank text, nothing. Testing within a single application, it seems like once you have copied nothing, the next time you copy, it will work. It alternates between copying nothing, and copying the text. Testing between different applications, sometimes it copies nothing (clipboard item is nothing), sometimes it copies the text, and sometimes the copy doesn't copy (clipboard does not update) EXPECTED RESULT Copy to clipboard should not copy nothing, and should copy the text selected. STEPS TO REPRODUCE I was not able to re-create the issue within a VM. I would guess the issue is something to do with multi-monitor setup OBSERVED RESULT Starting LibreOffice, dragging the application to the left monitor. As soon as the application is half-way through to the other screen, the menu (that should have spawned in the application at the top) spawned on the task bar, to the left for all applications on the bar. Once the left monitor is disabled, the menu isn't rendered at all. Please see attachments for visual representation of the issue. EXPECTED RESULT Menu should have appeared on top of the application, and stayed there while other programs have focus. The menu should not be created when it's on the left monitor, it shouldn't appear on the task bar.
