Restart kdenlive OBSERVED RESULT The effect is no more in the favorite effects EXPECTED RESULT The effect should always be in the favorite effects after a restart ? STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1.Create a project 2.Add a clip named 1:2.mp4 3.Put in in the timeline 4.Adjust speed holding CTRL in the timeline 5.Launch preview 6.Rename the clip to tmp.mp4 and do the same test OBSERVED RESULT In the preview vindow, you can see only white, and no sound. When the clip is named tmp.mp4, it works fine. After install, it's not possible to boot on the disk (neither /dev/sda nor /dev/sdb), because the boot loader is not installed. To fix the issue, I had to boot on the live CD again, and install grub manually with grub-install. After that, it works like a charm ! Click again on the wipe effect in the timeline and check the properties of the effect. "Revert" has been modified and is now unselected. This is the bug. My distribution is Ubuntu 16.04.2 But honestly, it looks more like a GUI problem, because when I resize the window, the timeline becomes clickable and everything is fine. Kdenlive works well, but the timeline's dislay is not modified. Looks like the same as Bug 366798 (but I am not pretty sure, so I report a new one). A workaround is to resize the main window, which makes the timeline's display correct. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Launch kdenlive and try to modify the timeline 2.Resize the main kdenlive window 3. Actual Results: 1.Timeline display remains unchanged. It does not respond to the clicks 2.Timeline gets unblocked.
