[Kubuntu Debug Installer] [Bug 398155] New: Grub not installed after installation Kubuntu 18.04.1

   Product: Kubuntu Debug Installer
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED

I installed Kubuntu on my device /dev/sdc (full disk).
After install, it's not possible to boot on the disk (neither /dev/sda nor
/dev/sdb), because the boot loader is not installed.
To fix the issue, I had to boot on the live CD again, and install grub manually
with grub-install.
After that, it works like a charm !
Thanks

[kdenlive] [Bug 384714] New: Unwanted change of Revert flag in Wipe effect

   Product: kdenlive
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor

  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 107859
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=107859=edit
Video of the problem.

Add a "wipe" transition between 2 tracks
Click on the effect in the timeline and check the properties. "Revert" is
activated.
Modify the softness and click anywhere in the timeline.
Click again on the wipe effect in the timeline and check the properties of the
effect.
"Revert" has been modified and is now unselected. This is the bug.

Workaround : before changing the softness, uncheck "revert", it will be
rechecked when you apply the modifications on the effect.

I am using Ubuntu with Unity, with all the default themes.
I don't know if it answers your question.

[kdenlive] [Bug 368235] Timeline hanging at startup

2016-11-13 Thread Benoit Touron
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368235

--- Comment #6 from Benoit Touron <benoit.tou...@gmail.com> ---
I am using a nVidia card with the proprietary drivers.
My distribution is Ubuntu 16.04.2
But honestly, it looks more like a GUI problem, because when I resize the
window, the timeline becomes clickable and everything is fine.
The workaround is to call the resize callback once the window is displayed for
the first time.

configuration / configure kdenlive

[kdenlive] [Bug 368235] New: Timeline hanging at startup

2016-09-04 Thread Benoit Touron via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368235

Bug ID: 368235
   Summary: Timeline hanging at startup
   Product: kdenlive
   Version: 16.08.0
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: User Interface
  Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org
  Reporter: benoit.tou...@gmail.com

When I launch kdenlive, the timeline is hanged. Kdenlive works well, but the
timeline's dislay is not modified.
Looks like the same as Bug 366798 (but I am not pretty sure, so I report a new
one).
A workaround is to resize the main window, which makes the timeline's display
correct.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Launch kdenlive and try to modify the timeline
2.Resize the main kdenlive window
3.

Actual Results:
1.Timeline display remains unchanged. It does not respond to the clicks
2.Timeline gets unblocked.

Expected Results:
The timeline should not block at the beginning.

Yes, exactly

> 2) What temporary file are you talking about? Can you tell me the file
> names/type so that I understand?
Files like : /tmp/kdenlive.<2 letters><4 digits>
exemple: kdenlive.TJ6180

By the way, I configured kdenlive with /var/tmp as temp folder, so I would
expect those files to be stored in /var/tmp instead of /tmp

Thanks anyway for kdenlive, it's really a great job !
