Open global or local timeline 2. Scroll the page so that a clickable element is in line with the user info mouse area (easier with larger images) 3. Click anywhere to bring up user info such that timeline page "slides left" 4. While user info is open, click username or mastodon server instance again and the MouseArea that slide across when changing pages is activated as well as the user info page OBSERVED RESULT Clicking user info does not trigger element underneath panel.
