[digikam] [Bug 447446] New: Fade transition with ken burns panning generates jumping images
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=447446 Bug ID: 447446 Summary: Fade transition with ken burns panning generates jumping images Product: digikam Version: 7.3.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Plugin-Generic-VideoSlideshow Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: cwei...@cweiske.de Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When creating a slideshow video file with Tools>"Create video slideshow" and using the "ken burns - camera pan left to right" display effect together with the "Fade" image transition leads to "jumping" images after the fade effect. The face effect fades into the centered image, but the ken burns effect starts with the image moved to the right. When the fade effect ends, the image jumps from center to the right. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Select two images 2. Tools > Create video slideshow" 3. Image selection: Images, next 4. Next 5. Video settings: 5.1. Effect displaying images: Ken Burns - camera pan left to right 5.2. Transition between images: Fade 6. Generate and view video OBSERVED RESULT When the fade-in effect is over, the image jumps from the center to the right, because the ken burns effect starts with the image on the right side. Example video: http://tmp.cweiske.de/digikam-bug-slideshow-transition.mp4 EXPECTED RESULT Images do not jump around but move and transition smoothly. It's still in cursor-mode (ready to input text). 8. Click somewhere on the free clip area. Color of 1st text stays white. 9. Double-click on the text element. Text will be selected now. 10. [kdenlive] [Bug 374362] New: Jog wheel scrolls in timeline and file list
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374362 Bug ID: 374362 Summary: Jog wheel scrolls in timeline and file list Product: kdenlive Version: 16.12.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: User Interface Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: cwei...@cweiske.de Target Milestone: --- I've got a ShuttleXpress contour jog wheel to quickly navigate inside clips. With kdenlive 16.12 I have the problem that scrolling the wheel does not only move the current play position in the clip/project video, but also on user interface elements: - When the mouse hovers the "project bin" file list and I use the wheel, the file list scrolls up and down - When the mouse hovers the timeline, using the wheel scrolls the timeline forward - When the mouse hovers tabs in the user interface, using the wheel switches tabs forward This makes the wheel hard to use since I always have to move the mouse cursor to an empty space (like the settings tab) in which using the wheel does nothing. The wheel still adjusts the play position inside the clip/project as it should.
