SUMMARY
On my taskbar I added the Quicklaunch Plasmoid. This has an odd behaviour...

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add Quicklaunch to the taskbar
2. Add some applications like a web browser or something else to it
3. Click with the right button of the mouse (configured to open the contextual
menu)

OBSERVED RESULT
1. The contextual menu opens - this should happen
2. The applications icon from the quicklaunch moves to the mouse position
3. The applications icon left the taskbar!

EXPECTED RESULT
1. Only the contextual menu should open
2. The applications icon should not move

I have migrated to MySQL on a MyCloud Ex2 Ultra NAS approx. 1 week ago.
Digikam was running stable for about 1 week on version 8.3.0 (if I remember
right).
Problem is, that I get - even before upcoming loading image - a fault message

"You do not have the necessary rights for the database.
You do not have the following rights: CREATE TABLE
Check your rights for the database and restart digiKam."
(Translated from German)

I cannot even enter the setup dialogue in digikam, because it does not start.
Actually a window opened from digiKam, that it is trying to open the database
automatically

I just read the specification for the "xdg-autostart-generator":

This means in the first line for systemwide configurations, or?
Could not find something for a specific user.

And this wish is for KDE. So a specification for KDE will help.
My reference to GNOME was an example and should show a way to do it in a (not
so) similar "Desktop Environment".

Please see number #2: Or to start my mail program one minute after login.
Another point is to run my streaming radio player after my IDE is up and all
files are loaded. Not before.

An error, caused by a bug or something else, will be reported in a suitable bug
tracker.

I would like to have the option to choose a delay in seconds when starting up
an app/script/somethingelse via "Autostart".

Some applications need a completely loaded and activated environment to start.
This shouldn't be necessary, but ok - it happens. Others should wait until I'm
also in place. Here are some examples for use cases: 

1.) The Google Drive: if it starts with autostart, it will crash or stall 
2.) Or to start my mail program one minute after login

I know this: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=456332 but seems not to be
convenient.
Also, I know a similar feature from Gnome and Cinnamon:

Gnome has the "X-GNOME-Autostart-Delay=3" in Desktop files which reside in the
user's "autostart" folder (~/.config/autostart) to manage the delayed start of
individual applications. This would be nice also in KDE/plasma.

The Icon displays a red dot if the urgency is critical. 
When I open discover I dont see which package has what urgency.
You have to click on everxy package and read the text.
Is it possible to parse the text for 

buster-security; urgency=medium

or some other indicators like 

CVE-2019-0215, CVE-2020-1927

and display a yellow or red  dot next to the package?

After a bunch of updates via my package management system, my KOrganizer now
has version 5.21.3 (22.08.3).
And this bug still exists.

Some additional information: 
the complete error message is a mix of English and German:
What I see is: "Fehler beim Erstellen des Kalendereintrags. Die Fehlermeldung
lautet: Invalid parent collection"
So I switched my language to British English and got:
"Error while trying to create calendar item. Error was: Invalid parent
collection"

Last week I discover that this stopped working because the stored "DTSTART" and
"DTEND" have different data formats. This changed when I updated the plasma/KDE
last week. Before it was working flawlessly for a lot of years.

On Sunday, 31st of October, the daylight saving time ends and the CET (Central
European Time) returns to all clocks. In the German Translation, this is named
"Beginn der Winterzeit". This is wrong. In Germany, there exist no
"Winterzeit"! The daylight saving time in Summer is called "Sommerzeit" (CEST)
the normal standard time (CET) didn't have a special name or it is called
"Normalzeit" (standard time) in opposite to "Sommerzeit".

To create a Putty like "SSH manager" thing is doubling an existing

"Konsole" is a simple graphical user interface to a console or better
said: to a command line interface as a text window.


My use case only use the command line parameter "--profile=xxx" to
switch to different profiles like tcsh or mksh or python. For this use
I have created two or three XDG desktop files.

And my first need is simply to set two or three existing profiles out
of ten or so as a visible submenu in "Konsole"'s like before. So when
I want to open a new tab in an open window I simply choose the menu
click the function (bash/zsh or mc or htop) I want. Nothing more.

This was my intention when I filed the bug #430723 last year (For
unknown reasons my bug was marked as a duplicate of this bug :-). For
my use this way is sufficient to mark some of the existing profiles to
be showed in menu.

That's not the reason for my problem. I can write to /tmp (I just tested it and
saved a file out of kate in /tmp). In the directory access control owner and
group are set to root, all others are allowed to read and change. Only okular
has some kind of problem with it. 
Anyway, I don't want to save in /tmp, when I try to save out of okular (I
select my home directory), but okular complains, that it can't save to /tmp.

An other problem with Okular occured today. I can't print from Okular. To get
an error-report, i started Okular from console. When i tried to print, the
reply on console was "/usr/bin/lpr: Fehler - Zugriff auf
»/tmp/okular_IhOqaH.ps« nicht möglich - Keine Berechtigung" witch means: no
access to /tmp ... - no authorization.

@David: thanks for your reply. I agree with you. 
 It's the same result, whether I open a local file and try to save it or i try
to save a browser-opend file. Both don't work and i'm asked to choose another
directory than /tmp/..., although i selected a folder in my home-directory.

SUMMARY
every time i try to save a file out of Okular to a folder in my home-directory,
i get the reply "Datei kann nicht in „/tmp/okular.Lufxxf“ gespeichert werden."
(file can't save in /tmp/okular.Lufxxf). 
Out of other applications i can save files without any problem.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. I choose menue |file|save| (or |save as|) and select a sub folder in my home

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
In a BASH script which I wrote long time ago I have this line:

if  [ 0 -eq `id -u` ];

When I open this script with Kate the syntax highlighting for the rest of the
BASH file isn't realy conclusive. In other words: it is totally broken. This
was working properly before Kate twenty something appears. Now is not so nice -
or let me say: rubbish.

Backticks are old and busted in the BASH language but they are still working
and in a lot of our servers scripts present.

In "Konsole"s settings the column to select the "show in menu" items is

Dialog with missing "Don't ask me again".

Don't ask if something really should be canceled.


Open an existing date.
Change something.
Hit "Cancel".

Why is there "You really want to cancel?" instead of simply cancel the actual
action? - This is bad behaviour ot KOrganzier: if I demand "Cancel" it will
have to do it.

Maybe this "Cancel" dialog should provide the checkbox "Don't ask me again"?

Most of the proposed currency formats for Switzerland are wrong since they use
a decimal comma instead of a decimal point.

1. System Settings > Formats > Numeric, Currency and Time Formats
2. Select e.g. fr_CH (= Western Switzerland, aka Romandie) or de_CH.
3. Observe the number displayed under "Currency"

OBSERVED RESULT
For fr_CH, the currency is shown as "24,00 CHF"
For de_CH, the currency is shown as "CHF 24.00"

EXPECTED RESULT
For fr_CH, the currency should be "24.00 CHF"
For de_CH, the currency should be "Fr. 24.00"

It isn't possible to copy an event from a ics ressource which is set to "read
only". This should be possible e.g. to copy an event from an "read only"
ressouce like an archived ics file from last year for example.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create an event in your actual ics based calendar
2. Create a new ics based calender and add it to KOrganizer
3. Try to copy the event from 1. with "copy"

OBSERVED RESULT
In the contextual menu (right click) "copy" isn't available because it is
greyed out.

EXPECTED RESULT
In the contextual menu (right click) "copy" should be avaiable like in "edit"
from menu.

SUMMARY
When using google as calendar service (google calendar configured, "use
groupware communication"), 2 things happen when one receives an invite.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. When accepting the invite, the calendar entry is Hijacked and one is
entering the appointment as organizer, and sending out that Acceptance with a
full calendar entry (ics-file) to all attendees
2. If any of these attendees Accepts your hijacked calendar entry, and you add
these to the calendar (the acceptance), a new calendar entry is added to the
google calendar and all attendees receive a new mail (snowball system).


OBSERVED RESULT

- One becomes the Owner (organizer) of the calendar entry very fast, and
receives tons of rejected/accepted mails from all other attendees.
- When Manipulating any of these acceptance mails, one starts the process
again, cause duplicate, tripple, quadruple etc. entries in the calendar.

I'm sitting behind a proxy. My up-to-date Fedora 27/KDE installation works with
a proxy configuration script (under System Settings > Network > Settings) that
is used by my Chrome browser as well.

Opening an reg file from wine (user.reg, system.reg or userdef.reg) didn't show
the section in "[ ... ]" correctly.



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
0. This is for wine standard installation
1. check if wine is installed
2. run wineboot -fu to create the WINEPREFIX
3. open the file "user.reg in ~/.wine

Actual Results:  
[Control Panel\\Desktop] 1471827642

"ActiveWndTrackTimeout"=dword:
"BlockSendInputResets"="0"


Expected Results:  
"[Control Panel\\Desktop]" should be in bold letters.

How to solve this:
