[plasmashell] [Bug 360333] New system tray: icons do not scale with panel height, stay very small

2016-10-05 Thread Keith Hammond via KDE Bugzilla

How did this bug slip into an LTS release? It should be fixed immediately. If I
booted up to a fresh install with this bug (rather than having updated to it
and not wanting to move all of my data) I would straight away install a
different DE or distro.

[plasmashell] [Bug 369887] New: system tray icons are tiny

2016-10-04 Thread Keith Hammond via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369887

Bug ID: 369887
Summary: system tray icons are tiny
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.8.0
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: System Tray
  Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: keithamm...@gmail.com

After updating from 5.7.5 the system tray icons are now extremely tiny. They do
not fit in with the rest of the desktop and makes the whole experience feel
unpolished.

The icons in the pop-up seem to be a reasonable size though.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Fresh install KDE Neon User Edition
1. Update to Plasma 5.8

Actual Results:
Tiny system tray icons but everything else perfect.

Expected Results:
Everything perfect.

I have the desktop scaling set to 2x on a 3840x2160 screen.

[kdevelop] [Bug 367956] New: KDevelop only runs as root

2016-08-29 Thread Keith Hammond via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=367956

Bug ID: 367956
Summary: KDevelop only runs as root
   Product: kdevelop
   Version: 5.0.0
  Platform: Neon Packages
   URL: http://gfycat.com/WeepyCheeryHarrier
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: grave
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdevelop-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: keithamm...@gmail.com

When launching KDevelop from the launcher or from the terminal without root
privilege I get an unresponsive window that doesn't re-paint (or at least
visibly).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. `sudo apt install kdevelop`
2. `kdevelop`

Actual Results:
KDevelop shows correctly but no interaction is possible. When trying to quit
with the window manager controls it will be unrespossive and eventually will
get a request to terminate the application.

Expected Results:
KDevelop should open normally.

I am running KDE Neon User Edition w/ oibaf ppa and kernel 4.7
