Fixed on kde.org as simple

We however also need to have the link on all the other website footers as well

[www.kde.org] [Bug 428963] New: Matrix link in website footer

2020-11-11 Thread Kenny Duffus
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=428963

Bug ID: 428963
Summary: Matrix link in website footer
   Product: www.kde.org
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kde-...@kde.org
  Reporter: ke...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

The [M] matrix link in the website footer doesn't take you to the KDE Matrix
homeserver.

Element recommended that currently the best way is just to link directly to the
room on our homeserver, this is

https://webchat.kde.org/#/rooms/#kde:kde.org

2020-07-18 Thread Kenny Duffus
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=376296

As noted in the other bug kde.org/donate is an alias, the main problem is the
duplicate /donations page of the previously existing and widely used
/community/donations

There are currently 2 different donation pages on kde.org

1. https://kde.org/donations
2. https://kde.org/community/donations/

The donate link in the top menu goes to 1 while the donate links in the footer
go to 2

The alias https://kde.org/donate used in various places such as akademy videos,
goes to 2. Various blogs also link directly to 2

Getting rid of 1 and changing the top menu link to 2 seems like the simplest
solution? Perhaps reworking some of the wording in 1 onto 2 would also be
useful

This bug was reported via email through an anonymiser service to KDE Press
Contacts:

It came to our attention, that Calendar Holiday Plugin for KDE,
that should contain holidays for Poland is written extremely
sloppy and contains extreme and excessive number of days that are not holidays
(they are not state holidays and are not days off- therefore
calendar is useless and we cannot see which days are off and
state celebrated by our Great Nation), but also the national
holidays are written very sloppy and the names are not the official
names of the holidays (eg. wito Konstytucji- there's no such
holiday in Poland its Konstytucji 3-ego Maja! its not "a holiday
of some constitution", holiday has a specific name!
Moreover its interwined with some non holiday "equinox", "grampa" and "beer"
days.

The issue seems to be that on https://neon.kde.org/download when you click the
nice download graphic instead of a file download starting it takes you to the
directory listing on files.ko for the current image

This contains as well as the symlink of current it also lists the real current
dated, i can understand the reason for it if you download lots but it does add
some confusion

As the .message is multi-lined it is collapsed by default and not obvious to
expand it, for the still slightly confusing note (from a new user point of
view)

Side note:
ubuntu and fedora downloads are very simple and intuitive
mint, opensuse and solus are more confusing

Uninstalling okteta and libokteta-data (from bionic universe), then all their
dependencies (maybe unnecessary?) and reinstalling the okteta no longer causes
this conflict.

libokteta-data doesn't seem to be in neon, looks like it is only older
packages?

I have now tried deleting the default source a few times and it still seems to
be creating tasks fine so I'm now a bit at a loss what the initial problem was
hmm...

They all behave fine.

Is there anyway to unset a default source? I only seem to be able to change to
a different one now I have one set

I have 2 enabled sources and one disabled, all from nextcloud

To see if it had previously tried to use the disabled one I disabled the one I
have set to default but there was no error and it still created a new todo in
that source. Does enabling/disabling only effect visibility of things in it?

Setting one to favourite/default made the error go away \o/

I notice that it is now in bold, previously none were. Maybe that would be the
issue?

[zanshin] [Bug 393505] New: Unable to create new todo items (possibly due to multiple calendars?)

2018-04-25 Thread Kenny Duffus
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=393505

Bug ID: 393505
Summary: Unable to create new todo items (possibly due to
multiple calendars?)
   Product: zanshin
   Version: 0.5.0
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: er...@kde.org
  Reporter: ke...@kde.org
CC: mbe...@ipsquad.net
  Target Milestone: already done

I am unable to create new todo items in zanshin, this works fine in KOrganizer
todo

The problem might be related to having multiple CalDav calendars? In KOrganizer
when creating a new todo I am prompted to pick where it should go

The error I get from zanshin is for example:

"Cannot add task test in Inbox: Invalid parent collection"

[choqok] [Bug 376880] New: No way to get all tweets since last time

2017-02-24 Thread Kenny Duffus
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=376880

Bug ID: 376880
Summary: No way to get all tweets since last time
   Product: choqok
   Version: 1.6
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Twitter
  Assignee: mehrdad.mom...@gmail.com
  Reporter: ke...@kde.org
CC: scarp...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

No matter how high you set "Number of posts to show in timelines" I only seem
to get about the last 200 tweets.

It would be great to have a setting to get all tweets since your last read
one/last time choqok was running.
