Some Albums are absolute not shown in Album View. Also the files in this Albums are not shown. Creating a new Folder in the Album View - works. But this Album is not shown in OS-File System. That is the only reason, why I put my wish to the table-view. where it would be better for you? The Diashow can be startet with F9, ALT+F9 or SHIFT+F9. SHIFT+F9 starts the show with all albums and all subfolders. A great thing! But with more than 5 Pictures it would boring you. So I wish to have the possibillity to show all pictures in a random order. You would not know, which comes next time and have a little surprise. This option you do not find in other products. But while having all informations in a database, it would be possible to have this feature in digiKam? It would be great and I hope other user may have the same wish. But there are no Pictures in the Folder 2018, because they are in all subfolders.
