https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=453991 --- Comment #1 from Michael Carpino --- Ignore my "Last year" in the removed portion of the 3rd line. Actually I should have stated "Previous fiscal year". [kmymoney] [Bug 406403] Tags within Split transaction not reporting correctly
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406403 --- Comment #11 from Michael Carpino --- I discovered that the issue with Tags is more than a report problem and it's likely to be related to split Tags in general. When there is a split transaction and there is Tags associated with them the split transactions are reporting wrong when viewing them in the Tags List within KMM. The split transactions are properly recorded as a charge in my credit card account but when I view the split transaction in the Tags List it is showing as a Deposit which also reduces the balance by this amount. Consequently the balance figure is reporting incorrectly. To reproduce Follow the steps in my post of 2019-04-10 and enter the transaction as a payment. [kmymoney] [Bug 407494] Stock price updating slow
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=407494 --- Comment #14 from Michael Carpino --- What I can share at this point is based on the information I've been able to obtain thru the use of Wireshark and a Wireshark expert (Chris Greer) that's been willing to assist me with my issue. The problem for me seems to start in the communication from the client (my Computer). It sends out information telling the server that it supports the different version of Transport Layer Security (TLS). My computer (Fedora OS) tells Yahoo that it has available versions, 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3. Yahoo comes back and tells my computer that it wants to use version 1.3. All of this happens extremely fast within the initial communication between them. It's less than a second and it's actually a small portion of a second. Here's where we think the problem is. Within that same (Hello) exchange when it tells my computer it wants to use version 1.3 it later says in the same message to change the cipher spec protocol to v 1.2 and the application data protocol to v 1.2. Now keep in mind this is all happening within a portion of a second. Then for some unknown reason my computer stalls (I believe within the OS) and it this point we think it's trying to figure out what to do with the conflicting information. Then at around 48-49 seconds later it sends what it needs back to Yahoo and boom I get the updated stock price. That's where things are right now as far as what we know about my issue. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kmymoney] [Bug 403402] Payee matching/inputting isn't working properly when importing with OFX
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=403402 --- Comment #1 from Michael Carpino --- After further looking at this issue I've noticed that the program is prepopulating the Payer/Receiver field in the ledger with a space when importing OFX transactions. If you backspace in the Payer field you can then locate preexisting payers. Upon doing this I started having some issues with updating my stock prices. I kept getting the error message: Unable to update price for AXP (no price or no date) when I tried using Yahoo. See screenshot #1 from the forum post on the details that I copied into the Online Quotes build. So then I went into the kmymoneyrc file and noticed that the information within there isn't the same as I inputted. So I manually corrected it and saved it as it should be. Then tested my quotes and everything works as it should. Please refer to my screenshot 2 that shows my edited Yahoo quote and then also my Yahoo2 quote that shows the difference of the change that the program is inputting. Basically, it is adding 2 additional "\\" as can be observed by looking within the DateRegex & PriceRegex lines. If I switch between these 2 quotes I'll get the error with the Yahoo2 and not with the Yahoo manually edited version. Somewhere within the code, it's adding these additional "\\" and if that can be corrected the stock quote updating should work correctly again. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=390750 --- Comment #6 from Michael Carpino --- The fee line is available in the register if you perform Buy, Sell, Dividend transactions. The screenshot that I attached shows I was able to add fees for a reinvestment dividend previously. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=391454 --- Comment #5 from Michael Carpino <mfcarp...@gmail.com> --- With 5.0 the only way to kinda getting it to work is to Map both accounts (Brokerage and Investment) and the transactions are dumped into the checking account. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kmymoney] [Bug 391454] passwords not integrating (storing) with KMM 5.0 and KDEWallet properly
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=391454 --- Comment #4 from Michael Carpino <mfcarp...@gmail.com> --- Yes, I dualboot and went to my windows 10 KMM 4.8.1.1 and the transactions are going into the investment account as you stated. With 5.0 the issue is it asks everytime what checking account you want to use. And there is no description on what account its referring to so you're clueless when you have more than 2 on what to do. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kmymoney] [Bug 391454] passwords not integrating (storing) with KMM 5.0 and KDEWallet properly
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=391454 --- Comment #2 from Michael Carpino <mfcarp...@gmail.com> --- I tried a few different things which is appears to cause a linking issue or lack there of. First I deleted the passwords in KDEWallet to make sure the passwords where being set there correctly. Then I unmapped the investment accounts. With my first brokerage account(TD Ameritrade), I went the checking account and mapped the checking account by selecting account > map account > ofximporter > TD Ameritrade. After finalizing I verified that I can update and it works. But if I go to the Investment Ledger for this account it is still showing Unmapped. I can go through all the steps and map it but there is some type of linkage problem I didn't have to do this in earlier versions. With my other brokerage account (Fidelity NetBenefits) I went through the same steps above except I started by mapping the Investment ledger. Then I went to the (brokerage) checking account and it shows it isn't mapped. When I look in KDEWallet the paswords are stored there correctly. I have other accounts that are not "Brokerage" type and mapping is working just fine. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kmymoney] [Bug 391454] New: passwords not integrating (storing) with KMM 5.0 and KDEWallet properly
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=391454 Bug ID: 391454 Summary: passwords not integrating (storing) with KMM 5.0 and KDEWallet properly Product: kmymoney Version: 5.0.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: bugtracker Assignee: kmymoney-de...@kde.org Reporter: mfcarp...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- After Mapping a Brokerage account (checking & investment)using OFX the passwords don't appear to be linking correctly with KMM. I input the information (ID & Password) and update (download) the transactions which works fine. Then I come back again to update and it shows the account is mapped but the "Update account" is greyed out. If I select Update all accounts it asks me to select the checking account associated with an unidentifiable account. The only workaround is to unmap, remap and download the transaction each time. Passwords are properly stored in KDEWallet. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
