No.Before a recent upgrade I was able to press "TAB" twice and then navigate
through "Places" and then after hitting "Enter" the navigation mode had
switched back to folder/file view

Yes,of course.I've installed the package "okular-backend-odp-dbgsym" and added

I think the call "KWindowEffects::enableBlurBehind" is causing the background
region to be blurred.And recently I was inspecting the recent commits of
