  Severity: major
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: gwenview-bugs-n...@kde.org

2.right click on any one of the highlighted files
3.launch gwenview

[kmymoney4] [Bug 365306] New: Investment Transactions report Price and Amount in error

2016-07-09 Thread Pete via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=365306

Bug ID: 365306
Summary: Investment Transactions report Price and Amount in
error
   Product: kmymoney4
   Version: 4.8.0
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: major
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kmymoney-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: peterz...@gmail.com

The first buy price for each buy date is wrong. Amount values are also wrong.
Total amount for each stock is consequently also wrong.

As a result, this report cannot be used to assess gains and losses for each
security. There does not appear to be any other way to get this info from KMM.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.click on Reports icon in left vertical pane
2.expand 5. Investments
3.launch Investment Transactions Default Report

Actual Results:
Incorrect Price and Amount values for many lines of data. Commission handling
appears to be confused.

Expected Results:
Each line should be correct. The Total should give the correct gain or loss
for that security.

Installing the suggested fix to this bug has not worked.

The following were installed in the admin account:

  - sudo apt-get update
  - sudo apt-get install systemsettings
  - sudo apt-get install plasma-theme-oxygen

The regular user account still has the 2 schedule icons missing.

I was thinking more along the lines of creating a snap package for KMM.

As you know, this would encapsulate all the resources that KMM would require
with zero KDE footprint on Ubuntu.

That is the kind of "workaround" that has high value.

Is it very complicated?

package systemsettings requires 2 additional packages.

package plasma-theme-oxygen requires 10 additional packages including the 2
above.

This strikes me as rather a heavy footprint just to get 2 icons.

May I suggest your next release of KMM have all resources native to the
package. If you want to get fancy; install a battery of packages, but this
should be optional - not mandatory.

Can you offer a workaround?

The only theme setting I can find is for Unity, not KDE.

See attached screenshot.

There is an oxygen plasma package on Ubuntu:

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/xenial/+package/plasma-theme-oxygen

If I install that as follows:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install plasma-theme-oxygen

Will my desktop look like this:

2016-04-22 Thread Pete via KDE Bugzilla

Bug ID: 362084
Summary: Both schedule icons are missing
   Product: kmymoney4
   Version: 4.7.2
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: critical
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kmymoney-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: peterz...@gmail.com

On the Home page in the Payments section, both icons are missing for "Enter
schedule" and "Skip schedule". This affects KMM versions 4.6.6 and 4.7.2, the
last good version being 4.6.4. See attached screenshot.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. just launch KMM
2. scroll down to see the Payments section
3.

If you accidentally click on skip and get rid of the warning because you are
too busy and not paying attention, you can miss a scheduled payment. Your
credit rating could suffer.
