I can also confirm that this bug (and other bugs relating to multi-monitor
setups, such as https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356994, have been fixed
with plasmashell 5.7.90.
Arch Linux users:
Install plasma-git-meta (or you could try plasma-desktop-git). I recommend
using an AUR helper, there are alot of AUR packages to install!
Specifically, use pacaur (AUR helper) - initially I was using apacman, which
choked on the meta package.
