I am now on Kubuntu 19.04 and I no longer have the problem with printing in
landscape mode. So, I think the ticket may be closed.

I used digikam-5.9.0-01-x86-64.appimage.

Hum... It seems to work now.

See attachement "Result from starting digikam in console". At the end, we see
the SQL query with 0 as results.

[digikam] [Bug 398721] New: No results if an album (directory) is selected

2018-09-16 Thread Pierre Lepage
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398721

Bug ID: 398721
Summary: No results if an album (directory) is selected
   Product: digikam
   Version: 6.0.0
  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Searches-Advanced
  Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: pierrelepa...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

I go to the "Search" tab. I select "Current Search" and then "Edit". In the
search window, I click on "Reset". So, I start a new search.

I then select an album in "Search for pictures in". I click on "OK". The result
window is empty.

For example. I have a directory called "Negatives Pierre". The search does not
return any photos. Yet there are dozens.

[print-manager] [Bug 392030] New: Unable to print in landscape

2018-03-18 Thread Pierre Lepage
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=392030

Bug ID: 392030
Summary: Unable to print in landscape
   Product: print-manager
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Debian stable
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: dantt...@gmail.com
  Reporter: pierrelepa...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Since installing KDE 17.10, I can not print in landscape mode. No matter the
application (LibreOffice, Abi, Appache Office). I tried to go through a PDF
format, but that does not work either. Obviously, I have no accessible control
(cups, printer control panel, application interface) to allow me to fix the
problem.
