I have seen it before in Debian 11, but after upgrading to Debian 12 (not yet
released) I at least cannot repro the example with kate anymore. Since it is
pretty pervasive in Debian 11, I assume it is fixed

I understood from Maik, that he fixed it for 8.1.0 (see comment 6).
Can I disable the faces feature that digikam does not try to start qtwebengine
